We join with you in prayer and thank God that you have a desire to gather with His people and worship Him, and that you bring even the practical details of your work before Him.
We are glad you want to be in church and to enjoy the service, for the psalmist says I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to Yahweh's house Psalm 122:1. Gathering together is for our encouragement and protection and joy in the Lord. We pray that God will indeed watch over you as you go and worship, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. We also pray that your heart will be open to enjoy His presence, to hear His Word, and to be refreshed, as David prayed One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in Yahweh's house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh's beauty, and to inquire in his temple Psalm 27:4.
We also bring your website work before the Lord. He cares about all that we do, even the small technical details, and we are called to do all things faithfully. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. We pray for wisdom, patience, and clarity as you work on the menu bar, that God would give you understanding to fix what is not working properly and to use the skills He has given you for good.
We did notice that your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. When we pray in Jesus' name we come on the basis of His sacrifice and resurrection, trusting that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ if you have not already, and to come to God through Him in every prayer.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up our brother and sister to You. We ask that You place Your hand of protection over them as they go to church, that You keep them safe from harm and from distraction, and that You quiet their heart to worship You in spirit and truth. Let them find joy in Your presence, hear Your Word with understanding, and be encouraged by fellowship with other believers. We also ask for Your help with the work of their hands on this website. Grant wisdom and insight to see the problem with the menu bar and to fix it, and give patience and peace while working through it. Let all that is done be for Your glory. We ask that You draw them ever closer to Jesus, that they would know the peace of coming to You through Him. In everything we give thanks, making our requests known to You, trusting Your perfect will. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Continue to seek Him both in worship and in your daily work, trusting that He is faithful to guide and provide.
