Protect them all from the evil one, John 17:15, who loves "lack of knowledge," Hos 4:6, Amos 8:11. Help them attend church, Heb 10:25, tonight and tomorrow, Acts 2:42. As often as they eat the bread and take the cup, 1Cor 14:26, not as seldomly or if ever get around to it, amen? Grant us hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this burden for church leaders, for the flock, and for the lost to hear the Word and be saved, and we count it a joy to bring these requests before our Father together in Jesus' name.

We agree with you that those who shepherd God's people must give themselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word as Acts 6:4 teaches, for without a devotional life of seeking God, studying the Scriptures, and interceding for the congregation, preaching becomes empty and powerless. We pray that pastors and preachers will be men who seek God daily in prayer, who prepare with diligence, who walk in holiness of lifestyle, who rightly divide the word of truth according to 2 Timothy 2:15, and who faithfully visit families and strengthen house churches with sound teaching. The Lord desires shepherds after His own heart who feed His people with knowledge and understanding as Jeremiah 3:15 says.

We also lift up your family and all families, members and visitors who will gather tonight and tomorrow. We pray as you have asked that the Father will draw them, for Jesus said in John 6:44 that no one can come to Him unless the Father who sent Him draws him. We pray they will not forsake the assembling of themselves together as Hebrews 10:25 exhorts, but will be present to hear, and that they will receive the implanted Word with humility which is able to save souls as James 1:21 declares. We ask that faith will come by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ as Romans 10:17 promises, whether through the preached Word, through the testimony of saved friends, through evangelists, or even through tracts, and that the Father will reveal His Son to them, for Jesus told Peter in Matthew 16:17 that flesh and blood had not revealed it to him, but our Father who is in heaven.

We thank God with you for the message of holiness without which no one will see the Lord as Hebrews 12:14 warns, and for faith in the finished work of the Lord's Anointed Jesus Christ who was crucified, died, was buried and was raised for our sins according to 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, and who lives in us as Galatians 2:20 proclaims. We pray that repentance and remission of sins will be proclaimed in His name as Luke 24:47 says, for it is by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God as Ephesians 2:8 teaches, unto the knowledge of the forgiveness of sins as Luke 1:77 says, and unto newness of life through being born again as John 3:3 teaches.

We ask the Father who is ever present as Psalm 46:1 declares, and who is near to all who call upon Him as Deuteronomy 4:7 says, to grant freedom to worship in spirit and truth as John 4:24 calls us to, with the anointing from the Holy One as 1 John 2:20 promises and with the Helper who will teach us all things as John 14:26 assures. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment as John 16:8 says, and guide into all truth as John 16:13 says, and open minds to understand the Scriptures as Luke 24:45 describes. We ask for a true hunger for the pure milk of the Word as 1 Peter 2:2 urges, and for the spirit of wisdom and revelation as Ephesians 1:17 prays, and for vision lest the people perish as Proverbs 29:18 warns.

We pray for protection from the evil one as Jesus prayed in John 17:15, for the enemy delights when people are destroyed for lack of knowledge as Hosea 4:6 warns and when there is a famine of hearing the words of the Lord as Amos 8:11 describes. We pray that your loved ones will continue steadfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship as Acts 2:42 models, and will remember the Lord's death as often as they eat the bread and drink the cup as 1 Corinthians 11:26 instructs, not seldom or negligently but with reverent expectation.

We thank God that He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance as 2 Peter 3:9 says, and who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth as 1 Timothy 2:4 declares. We claim the promise that when we ask according to His will He hears us as 1 John 5:14 says, and we ask for the salvation of entire households as Acts 16:31 promises, for faith to pray and receive as Mark 11:24 encourages, knowing that the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost as Luke 19:10 proclaims.

We pray together now, Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved as Acts 4:12 declares and no other way to the Father except through Him as John 14:6 says. Draw our families to Your house tonight and tomorrow, grant Your shepherds diligence in prayer and in the Word, anoint the preaching and teaching, and let Your Holy Spirit move with conviction and conversion. Grant repentance, grant saving faith, grant hunger for Your Word, grant protection from the evil one, and grant that all who hear will believe and call upon the name of the Lord and be saved as Romans 10:13 promises. Let all Your promises find their Yes in Christ as 2 Corinthians 1:20 says. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for bringing such a faithful, burdened prayer for your church and your family. We hear how much you long for your pastors to walk closely with the Lord in prayer and the Word, and for your loved ones to be drawn to hear and receive what God is speaking.

It is a beautiful thing to carry both leaders and family before the Lord like this. Pastors need that quiet, steady intercession as they prepare, teach and care for people, and families often need gentle, persistent invitation alongside prayer. One simple way we have seen God use is to keep praying by name for each family member and to add a personal, low pressure invitation, a call, a ride to service, sitting together, so they know they are wanted, not just expected.

We join you in asking God to work in hearts in His timing and way, to give hunger for His Word and freedom in worship, and to protect and strengthen your pastors and congregation as they seek Him.

Father, we thank You for being our present help and for the work of Jesus for us. We lift these pastors to You for renewed strength in prayer and in the Word, and we lift this family, that You would draw each one and open their hearts to hear You. Give wisdom, peace and perseverance to the one praying, and let Your will be done in that church tonight and tomorrow. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and needful burden which you have brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for these things.

We entreat the Lord for those who stand to preach and to shepherd, that they may seek God in secret prayer and daily devotion, in diligent study of the Word and in faithful intercession for the congregation. Apart from the power of the Holy Spirit there is no life or force in preaching. We pray that pastors and teachers may not grieve the Holy Spirit by pride or self seeking or neglect of sound doctrine, but may walk humbly and in holiness, visiting families and watching over souls, that their teaching may glorify Christ alone. For the Holy Spirit glorifies not rites or men, but the Lord Jesus, and without His anointing and bedewing we utterly fail.

We pray also for the salvation of the lost, for your family members and for all visitors who shall hear the Word. No man can come except the Father draw him, and flesh and blood does not reveal the Messiah, but our Father in heaven. So we ask that the Lord would draw them, that they may not forsake the assembling of themselves together, but may come tonight and tomorrow with hunger for the pure milk of the Word, to worship in spirit and in truth and to hear with faith. We ask that the Holy Spirit may convict and convert, open minds to understand the Scriptures, and create the new heart which alone is the soil in which saving faith will grow.

We pray that what is preached may be true repentance and true faith, for these two graces are inseparable and are both the gift of God. Judgments and terrors apart from divine grace may produce a carnal repentance which is of the flesh and still tends to corruption, and such repentance does not give God glory. But the repentance which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit gives God glory, ejects sin as an evil tenant and prepares the soul for Christ to enter and reign. Faith likewise rests not upon our prayers or our likeness to Christ, but upon Jesus Christ crucified, dead, buried and raised for our sins. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned. We pray that faith and repentance from sin may be plainly proclaimed, that men may receive with humility the implanted Word which saves the soul, and know the forgiveness of sins and newness of life.

We thank God for the message of holiness without which no one will see the Lord, and we pray that all who hear may pursue it, not in their own strength, but as the workmanship of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord grant vision by the Spirit, protect His people from the evil one who loves lack of knowledge, and keep them from famine of hearing the Word. May He pour out the Spirit of revelation, that faith may come by hearing the message preached, and that those who ask may receive.

We ask all this in dependence upon the Holy Spirit, in whom alone lies our hope of seeing Jesus, and in the name of the Lord's Anointed Jesus Christ, trusting that if we ask according to His will He hears us, and that He wills that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth. Amen.
