Draw our family members to church tonight and tomorrow to hear, listen and understand what You are speaking to each one, Jn 16:13. Grant faith, repentance, salvation, knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life -- give vision, Prov 29:18, by The Holy Spirit. Protect them all from the evil one, John 17:15, who loves "lack of knowledge," Hos 4:6, Amos 8:11. Help them attend church, Heb 10:25, tonight and tomorrow, Acts 2:42. As often as they eat the bread and take the cup, 1Cor 14:26, not as seldomly, only once a month or if ever get around to it, or to "get it out of the way" so we can get to "the message," amen?

Grant us hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We lift our hearts together in prayer and intercession for the spiritual vitality of church leaders and the salvation of those who have not yet come to know the Lord. It is a sacred calling to shepherd God’s people, and we recognize the weight of responsibility upon pastors, preachers, and all who serve in ministry. The Word of God reminds us, "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers" (1 Timothy 4:16 WEB). Leadership in the church must begin with a deep, personal devotion to Christ, daily prayer, the study of Scripture, and a life surrendered to the Holy Spirit. Without this foundation, teaching and preaching become empty, and the flock is left vulnerable.

We pray for those who labor in ministry, that they would not grow weary in well-doing (Galatians 6:9 WEB). May they seek the Lord with humility, allowing the Holy Spirit to anoint their words and actions. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord" (Colossians 3:16 WEB). We rebuke any spirit of complacency, distraction, or pride that would hinder their devotion. The enemy desires to isolate and discourage those who lead, but we declare that God’s grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).

For the lost within our congregations and communities, we cry out for their salvation. Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44 WEB). We ask the Lord to draw hearts to Himself, to open eyes that are blind, and to soften hearts that are hardened. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8 WEB), and we pray for a mighty outpouring of His power. May the preaching of the Word be accompanied by signs, wonders, and the demonstration of the Spirit’s power (1 Corinthians 2:4-5 WEB), so that faith would arise in those who hear.

We also lift up the families within the church, that they would not neglect gathering together (Hebrews 10:25 WEB). The enemy seeks to divide and distract, but we declare that God’s Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11 WEB). May the Lord grant repentance and faith to those who are far from Him, and may they experience the new birth that comes through believing in Jesus Christ (John 3:3 WEB). We rebuke any spirit of lukewarmness or indifference toward the things of God. The Lord desires wholehearted worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24 WEB), and we pray that His people would hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6 WEB).

For those who partake of the Lord’s Supper, we pray that it would not be a mere ritual but a sacred moment of remembrance and proclamation. "For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes" (1 Corinthians 11:26 WEB). May the body of Christ approach this ordinance with reverence, examining themselves and discerning the Lord’s body (1 Corinthians 11:28-29 WEB).

Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that the lost would hear the message of the cross, repent of their sins, and receive the forgiveness and new life that only He offers. May Your Word go forth with power, and may Your Spirit move mightily in our midst. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Amen.

Let us continue to seek the Lord with all our hearts, trusting that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6 WEB). May our lives be a living testimony of His grace, and may our churches be beacons of light in a dark world.

Your love for your church leaders and family shines through every line. It is clear you are not just praying through a list, you are carrying people on your heart before the throne. That kind of steady intercession is itself a quiet work of the Holy Spirit, and we are glad to join you in it.

When our prayers feel this urgent, we sometimes need a gentle reminder that God’s work in others often grows the way a soul itself does: through the ordinary, daily practices of word, prayer, and worship. Those three, the Bible simply opened, honest prayer, and gathering with the body, are the simple means God uses to build spiritual hunger over a lifetime. Your own devotion to those things is not separate from your prayers for your family; it is the very soil in which those prayers take root. Keep returning to your own time in Scripture, keep opening your heart in prayer for them, and keep showing up to worship. As you do, you model a quiet, attractive faith that often speaks louder than our words.

If you are looking for a concrete next step, consider identifying one or two family members you are specifically burdened for. Then, without pressure, look for a natural opportunity, maybe an invitation to a service followed by a simple meal, or a casual conversation where you share just a sentence or two about how God has been real to you this week. Sometimes a personal, unhurried invitation carries a weight no sermon can.

We know the ache of longing for those we love to hear and receive the word in faith. Remember that the same Father who draws hearts is already at work. Your prayers join his will, and he is not slow to answer.

Lord Jesus, we lift this dear prayer partner of ours. Thank you for their love for their church and family. By your Spirit, draw those they have named, open minds to understand the Scriptures, and grant true hunger for your word. Give faith, repentance, and new life. Protect them from the evil one and lead them into the freedom of worship in spirit and truth. In your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Let no man mistake the order of the Spirit’s work. It is by the hearing of faith that the Spirit comes. When the Word is lifted up in the assembly, when the sinner sits under the sound of the Gospel and the preacher unfolds Christ crucified, there is the chosen hour for the dead to hear the voice of the Son of God and live. Pray then, and pray with importunity, that your beloved ones may be brought under that sound. Do not keep them from the place where the Word echoes, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. If the Word seems to fall upon deaf ears, remember that the Spirit who inspired the Scripture is able to apply it with sharp, two-edged power. Our part is to cry mightily to God that He would draw them; Christ’s promise in John six and forty-four remains the solid ground of our pleading. None come except the Father draw them, but the Father delights to do so by the trumpet blast of the entrusted Gospel.

The hearing must be a personal hearing. Not a daughter hiding behind a mother’s faith, nor a husband leaning upon a wife’s piety. No, each soul must listen for itself, as though alone in the vast congregation, the Word aimed directly at its own conscience. I charge you, pray for this: that as the Word is preached, a divine solitude will settle upon every unconverted heart in the pew, and they shall hear the messenger as though he were sent only to them with the tidings of salvation. And what is it they must hear? Nothing less than the Revelation of the Messiah by the Father. Flesh and blood cannot reveal Jesus; it is the work of our Father in heaven. All the logic and earnestness of the preacher cannot pierce the darkness until the Holy Spirit floods the mind with light. Seek, therefore, this anointing from the Anointed One. Plead the promise of the Spirit who teaches all things, who convinces of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, and who takes the things of Christ and shows them unto men.

The hearing that saves is the receptive faith. It is the penniless hand held out, the empty cup placed beneath the flowing stream. So let your requests be shaped not merely for their bodily presence in the assembly, though that is to be desired with all your heart, but for the inner miracle of a believing heart. Pray that they will cease their idle picking and choosing among the doctrines of the Word, for a faith that revises Scripture to suit its own taste is no faith in God at all. Pray rather that with holy fear, like Noah, they will tremble at the word of judgment that the word of mercy may be sweet. Their salvation is of the Lord, from its first breathing of desire to its final triumphant shout. The ultimate perfection is His work, not ours. We should quake with hopelessness if a single thread of the working lay in our own fingers. Christ has declared from the tree, "It is finished." That is His dying word for His Church, and for every soul that shall be saved. The atonement is complete, the debt is paid, the head of the dragon is broken. Therefore pray with a faith that grasps the finished work and expects the Spirit to apply it with sovereign power.

Yearn not for a repentance born of mere terror, a legal sorrow that has no trace of submission, no touch of faith, no breath of love. The judgments of Providence may alarm and fill the house of God with anxious inquirers, but pain and sickness are not evangelists; they cannot give life. Seek instead that godly sorrow which is the work of the Spirit, a true loathing of sin because it is against a holy and loving God. Cry out to the great Advocate in glory, who ever liveth to intercede, that their faith fail not in the hour of sifting. A mustard-seed faith, a trembling touch of Christ’s hem, is enough to make them whole, for virtue flows from Him, and Him alone. But you must also hold fast the name of Christ yourself, for the faith that does not endure may never have been a living faith at all. Let your own unwavering confession be a witness, yet never trust in it, for only the Spirit can beget the Spirit’s fruit in another. Plead His own promise; He wills not the death of a sinner. He would have all men saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Lay hold of that word and refuse to let Him go. The prayer of faith receives what it asks, because it asks according to His will.

Your prayer reveals a zeal for the salvation of your household and a desire that those who preach and teach would be devoted to God. This is good, for we ought to bring all such things before the Lord. Yet let us take care, as I have often admonished, that we do not suppose praying alone is sufficient while our own negligence continues. For if we pray yet remain remiss and careless in hearing the word, or if we attend the assembly only occasionally and with distracted minds, how shall we have hope of salvation? The seed that fell among thorns was choked by the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches; so too, when we treat the holy mysteries as a thing to be dispatched quickly, or imagine that merely listening to a sermon is enough, we deceive ourselves. No single part ensures our safety, but there must be careful hearing, continual recollection, fortitude, and deliverance from all worldly entanglements.

You plead that the Father draw your family to the church, and rightly so, for no one comes to the Son unless the Father draws him. But then you and they must also clear the ground of thorns. The word profits nothing if it is not received with humility, and that humility is shown when we not only hear but do. I blush for those who barely appear in the assembly once a year, yet here you speak of forcing attendance as if the message were the main thing and the Supper an afterthought. Remember what the Apostle said to the Philippians: their fellowship in giving and receiving was a spiritual transaction, earthly things exchanged for heavenly. So it is with the Lord's Table. When we come frequently and with reverence, Christ communicates himself to us. Do not treat it as a mere preliminary to the sermon.

The prayer you offer for pastors is needful, but let them first see you eager to be fed. If the shepherd prays and studies, yet the flock strays into the cares of the age, the word he sows is carried off by birds or withers on rocky soil. Pray then that you and your household may be good ground, holding fast the word with patience. Ask not only for revelation but for the strength to despise vainglory, pleasure, and envy. Cry out for the Spirit to open minds, but also resolve to live in a manner worthy of the Gospel. For the veil is removed when our life keeps pace with what we hear.

God indeed wills that none perish, and he hears prayers according to his will. But the one who prays must also flee from negligence. Let your family see in you a holy eagerness, not a worldly anxiety that forces them into the church merely to satisfy a duty. Attend as the first believers did, devoting yourselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. When your household witnesses your hunger for the word and your trembling before the mysteries, they will learn that Christ crucified is indeed our salvation, the one who draws all people to himself. Do not treat the hearing as an end; it is the beginning of a life that bears fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold, to the glory of God.
