We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the spiritual vitality of church leaders, the salvation of the lost within our congregations, and the deepening of worship and biblical teaching in our churches. It is a sacred responsibility to intercede for those who shepherd God’s flock, that they may be men and women of prayer, devotion, and unwavering commitment to the Word. Father, we lift up pastors, preachers, and all who serve in leadership, asking that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit daily. May they seek You earnestly in prayer, not as a religious duty, but as the lifeblood of their ministry. Let their study of Scripture be deep and reverent, their preaching bold and anointed, and their lives a living testimony of Christ’s transforming power.

We pray for the preparation of their hearts before they stand to teach, that they would not rely on their own wisdom but on the revelation of Your Spirit. "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you" (John 14:26). May their messages be rooted in truth, seasoned with grace, and delivered with humility, so that the lost may hear and believe. We rebuke any spirit of complacency or distraction that would keep them from seeking You wholeheartedly. Lord, guard their families, their time, and their minds from the enemy’s schemes, that they may serve You with joy and faithfulness.

For the lost in our midst, those who attend church but have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we cry out for Your mercy. You have said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44). Father, draw them by Your Spirit, open their ears to hear the gospel, and soften their hearts to receive it. We pray for a supernatural hunger for Your Word, that they would not merely listen but truly understand and be saved. "Therefore put away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, and receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls" (James 1:21). Let the preaching of Christ crucified be the power of God unto salvation for every soul in our churches (1 Corinthians 1:21-24).

We also lift up the families in our congregations, that they would be drawn to church not out of obligation, but out of a genuine desire to worship and grow in Christ. May they experience the joy of fellowship, the nourishment of the Word, and the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit. "And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25). Father, let Your Word take deep root in their hearts, producing repentance, faith, and a passion for holiness.

We pray for the freedom to worship in Spirit and truth, that our gatherings would be marked by the presence of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:24). May our worship be more than songs, may it be a heartfelt response to Your goodness, a declaration of Your worth, and a surrender to Your will. Let the Holy Spirit move powerfully in our midst, convicting of sin, comforting the broken, and equipping the saints for the work of ministry.

Father, we ask for dreams, visions, and supernatural encounters with Your Spirit, not for sensationalism, but for the salvation of souls and the edification of Your people. You have promised, "Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions" (Joel 2:28). We long to see Your power at work in our churches, drawing the lost and transforming lives. Yet we also recognize that the ordinary means of grace, preaching, prayer, fellowship, and the sacraments, are the primary ways You have ordained to build Your kingdom. May we never despise the day of small things, but trust in Your faithfulness to work through Your Word.

We rebuke every spirit of deception, apathy, and false teaching that would hinder the growth of Your church. May our pastors and leaders be men and women of sound doctrine, holding fast to the truth and contending for the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3). Protect our churches from the schemes of the evil one, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Let Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105), guiding us in all truth.

Finally, we pray for the salvation of the lost, not just in our churches, but in our communities, our nations, and to the ends of the earth. You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would raise up laborers for the harvest, that Your gospel would go forth with power, and that souls would be saved. "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14). Father, send forth Your Word and let it accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11).

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You that through His blood, we have access to the Father, and we pray all these things in His precious name. Amen.

"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen" (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Oh Lord, we’re standing with you right now, lifting up these leaders who carry such heavy burdens, pastors, preachers, and those who shepherd Your flock with hearts full of love for Your people. We pray that You would open their eyes to see the lost around them, not just as numbers in a congregation, but as precious souls You’ve drawn by Your Spirit (John 6:44). Give them boldness to share the gospel with clarity, but also tenderness, so that every word feels like a whisper from heaven to a weary soul.

We ask for Your anointing on their preparation. May they study Your Word with hunger, not just for knowledge, but for transformation in their own lives first. Let the Holy Spirit be their guide, their teacher, and their strength when they stand to preach. And Lord, we pray for their families, those who walk beside them daily. Draw them to church, not out of duty, but because they’ve tasted the joy of Your presence. Help them to see the church as a place of healing, not just teaching, where people are loved into repentance and faith.

For the lost in our midst, those who sit in the pews but haven’t yet surrendered, we cry out for a supernatural shift. Open their hearts to hear the gospel not just with their ears, but with their souls. Let Your Spirit convict them of their need for You, and give them faith to believe that Jesus alone is the way. And for those who’ve never set foot in a church, we ask You to send laborers into our communities, people who will share the gospel with love and persistence, just as You’ve called us to do.

We also lift up the ordinary moments, those quiet invitations, the shared testimonies, the tracts passed in the hands of strangers. Use even the smallest seeds of faith to grow. And Lord, we ask for dreams and visions, not for our own glory, but so we’ll know Your heart for our church and our city. Let Your Spirit move powerfully in our worship, in our teaching, and in our lives, so that every gathering is a taste of heaven, and every lost person feels Your love drawing them home.

In Jesus’ name, we trust You to do far more than we ask or imagine. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".
