⛪️ Church, Family Intervene Mt 18:16-17, Convict Jn16:8, Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Clarity, Avoids Evil Men 2 Tim 3:5, Inner Healing Isa 1:6, Ps 23:1-6... 🙏 Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7... Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confess adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, John 17:15...

Praying again for repentance -- That she will not only avoid physical consequences, or be deceived that she's in a place of safety, God not being mocked, Gal 6:7, but MOSTLY she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10, and freedom from deception, Matt 24:4, including all of us (me being similar to a chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12:48, and as long as we dwell in temples made of clay, 2 Cor 5:1-2, this side of eternity, we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, and only stand by Your grace, if we continue in Your kindness, Rom 11:20, and since only You are able to keep us from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and You are able to make us stand, Rom 14:4, and we become "spirits of the righteous made perfect," Heb 12:23, when we are with You in paradise, Luke 23:43, for to be absent from the body and be present with The Lord is far better, 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We stand with you in deep intercession, lifting this precious soul before the throne of grace. The weight of your prayer reveals a heart that loves deeply, even as it grieves over sin and rebellion. We join you in crying out for restoration, repentance, and the hedge of thorns the Lord can place around those who stray, just as Hosea 2:6-7 declares, "Therefore, behold, I will hedge up her way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, that she may not find her paths. She will pursue her lovers, but she will not overtake them; and she will seek them, but won’t find them. Then she will say, ‘I will go and return to my first husband; for then it was better with me than now.’" May this hedge be so strong that she cannot wander further into destruction, and may the Holy Spirit convict her powerfully, as Jesus promised in John 16:8: "When he comes, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment."

The Scriptures you’ve cited reveal a battle not just for one life, but for an entire family and church body. We echo your call for the church and family to intervene as Matthew 18:16-17 instructs: "But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector." This is not about punishment, but about restoration, gentle yet firm, as Galatians 6:1 warns: "Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted." The fear of man has clearly ensnared some in this situation (Proverbs 29:25), and we pray for courage in leadership to act with godly authority, not cowardice.

The adultery and fornication must be addressed with clarity. The Lord’s standard is unchanging: "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14), and Jesus Himself warned that even lustful intent is sin (Matthew 5:28). The deception of online dating and ungodly relationships has led to moral compromise, and we rebuke every lie that says this is acceptable for a believer. The unequally yoked relationship (2 Corinthians 6:14) is a violation of God’s design, and we pray for her to break every unholy tie in Jesus’ name. If she is truly born again, the Holy Spirit will not allow her to remain in this rebellion without conviction (John 16:13).

We also lift up the broader family and church environment. The sensual display you described, posting immodest content, is a symptom of deeper spiritual decay. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and where it is absent, sin flourishes. We rebuke the spirit of worldliness that has infiltrated even godly homes, and we pray for a revival of holiness. As 1 Timothy 2:9 instructs, "In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety." May the Lord grant repentance to all involved, that they would hate evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9).

For you, dear brother or sister, we pray for inner healing and strength. The burden of intercession is heavy, but the Lord sees your tears and records them in His book (Psalm 56:8). You are not alone in this fight. As you stand in the gap, remember Isaiah 1:6: "From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it, only wounds, welts, and open sores." The Lord binds up the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3), and He will refresh you as you wait on Him. Fast and pray, as Isaiah 58:6-12 promises, for the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in dry places.

We declare over this situation:
- Conviction: May the Holy Spirit bring deep conviction, not just for consequences, but for the sake of the soul (John 16:8).
- Repentance: May she turn fully to Christ, bearing fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8).
- Protection: May the Lord hedge her in with thorns and deliver her from every evil influence (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
- Restoration: May the church rise up with love and truth to restore her (Galatians 6:1).
- Wisdom: May the Lord grant wisdom to all involved, that they would walk in His ways (James 1:5).

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the Lord’s house forever." (Psalm 23:1-6)

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), the One who is able to keep us from stumbling and present us blameless before the Father (Jude 1:24). May His will be done, and may His kingdom come in this situation. Amen.

Brother, we’ve been sitting with your prayer, and we can feel how much you love this woman and how desperately you want God to move. Your persistence in interceding, even when the messengers you hoped for haven’t yet stepped in, speaks of a faith that refuses to let go. We’re grateful to stand with you.

What stands out to us alongside all your pleas for her is the quiet list of your own needs: wisdom, clarity, inner healing, strength to fast again. We don’t want those to get buried. When someone we love walks far from God, it can leave deep, aching wounds in our own soul. It’s okay to admit that. We’d gently encourage you to let a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or a small group of brothers carry some of this with you, not just to pray for her, but to let them pray healing over the places in you that are raw and weary. You don’t have to be the strong one all the time.

Even as you keep asking God to hedge her path, to send conviction, to bring wise church intervention where it’s needed, take a step for your own restoration. You mentioned inner healing in your prayer, and that’s something the Lord wants to tend to right now, not only after she repents. He sees every tear and every sleepless night.

So we simply pray:

Father, thank You for this man’s unflagging love. Please keep him steady and give him the clarity he’s asking for. Where his own heart has been battered, we ask You to gently heal the memories and quiet the turmoil. Guide him to safe people who can be Your hands and voice. For her, we ask what he has asked, that You would surround her with thorns that steer her homeward, that falsehood would become bitter, and that she would come to her senses, truly repent, and find life again in You. Protect everyone involved from the evil one’s schemes, and give this brother rest for his soul. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The way of the slothful man is indeed as a hedge of thorns, but the way of the righteous is made plain. You have asked that a hedge of thorns be set about this wandering soul, and that is a prayer borrowed from the very heart of God, for He Himself declared, “I will hedge up thy way with thorns.” Yet let us mark well that the hedge is not an end in itself. Thorns are sent, not to destroy, but to direct. They tear the flesh that the soul might seek the Healer. If the way of transgression becomes a bristling thicket, let us pray she has not the slothful heart that sits down among the briars and despairs, but rather that she lifts her eyes to see the plain path of the righteous, the highway of holiness, the crimson road made by a Saviour’s blood.

You plead for conviction of sin, and you do well; yet beware of that repentance which is but the vomit of the flesh, a carnal sorrow produced by the lash of consequence rather than a sight of the pierced heart of Christ. The Holy Spirit’s work cuts deeper. True repentance is not merely a terror of the hedge of thorns; it is a hatred of the sin that made the thorns a necessity. It lifts its tearful eye to the cross and sees there the crown of thorns pressed upon the sacred brow of infinite love, and it cries out, “I have done this! My wandering has woven that diadem of anguish.” A repentance that looks only to its own wounds is fleshly and foul; a repentance that looks to His wounds is heavenly and full of hope. She must see that her sin is first and foremost against the Lord who bought her.

You mention the lily among thorns. Here is a sweet mystery: the true Church, the true child of God, often grows in the midst of that which would choke it. Thorns of affliction, thorns of temptation, thorns of worldly care, these are the very things God uses to keep His lilies white and dependent. They lacerate the hand that would pluck us from His bosom. Yet a thistle cannot become a lily any more than a slothful man can become righteous by his own effort. If this soul is His, the thorns will not destroy the life within, though they may mar its visible form for a season. Pray not merely for constraints from without, but for the wellspring of life within, the true, tender sap of grace rising from a renewed root.

And what of the thorn-crowned One? Let us press into the guardroom and look upon our suffering Lord. Every thorn she feels in her rebellion is meant to be a mirror of that sacred head. The thorns of her hedged-in way are to remind her, and us, that He bore the curse of the ground, thorns and thistles, that He might make all things new. Does she run from godly counsel? So did we all, until grace made us willing. The kindest, heaviest pressure of the Spirit is to press us down upon the sharp point of that one truth: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” You have proclaimed yourself chief; then stand as a monument of mercy and let not your prayers be tinged with a vindictive spirit, but with the broken-hearted compassion of one who, having received such remission, longs to see another bathed in the same blessed tears. Do not regard her as an unclean thing if God is making her holy; be ready with the robe and the ring, for the prodigal’s return is often at the midnight hour when the famine is sorest.

The passage from your sermons on “Sown Among Thorns” speaks a warning too: the established church of Mansoul has too often the Devil for its archbishop, and easy, thorn-in-the-flesh religion that bears no fruit is a mockery. Pray that her former profession was not seed sown among thorns, springing up in a false dawn of piety only to be choked by the cares, riches, and pleasures of this life. Yet hope against hope. If one grain of the good seed of election lies in her soul, the Husbandman will yet burn up the thorns to let the sunlight reach the precious grain, though it be but a bruised reed and a smoking flax at the last.

Leave her in the hand of Him who is able to keep her from falling. Your intercession, mingled with fasting, is a sweet savor, but take heed lest the burden sour into a bitterness that forgets the lilies of the field. He who set the hedge can tear it down. He who sends the fire of conviction can also pour in the oil of consolation. That way of thorns may be the vestibule to the path of peace. She was not promised to be sinless, but if she is Christ’s, she will be sin-sensitive. Wait upon the Lord with that perfect patience you mentioned, and in the waiting, keep your own garments unspotted from the thorns of a censorious spirit. May the Good Shepherd restore her soul, and may the thorns that lace her path bloom with the roses of His forgiving love in due season.

You speak of a hedge of thorns, but consider: the true hedge is God’s protection, which He removes when the vineyard brings forth thorns instead of grapes. The thorns themselves are the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, which choke the word and make it unfruitful. If she finds herself hedged in by distress, it may be that God has withdrawn the fence, that she might see the fruitlessness of her path and turn. For wealth and its desires are indeed thorns, bearing no fruit, useful only to kindle the furnace and nourish irrational passions, piercing and wounding the rational soul.

You have entreated many to carry the sword of the Spirit, and that is needful, but let each one keep an eye on his own standing. For the man who is neither softened by goodness nor turned back by fear treasures up wrath against the day of wrath. Yet while there is breath, do not count her case beyond hope. For though some falls seem incurable, I have not preached despair to those who have fallen. Even if one has fallen from grace, Christ can be formed in them again, as a mother travails in birth. So continue in prayer, but take heed to yourself. The earth that drinks rain repeatedly but yields thorns is near a curse; we who hear so often must fear lest the sun rise and we wither because we have no root.

Therefore, first root out the thorns from your own ground, that you may receive the divine seed with full virtue. Then, with gentleness and fear, seek her restoration. If we stray from God’s strong hand, we become like a tottering fence, ready prey for the boar and the roaring lion. Stand fast in His kindness, but tremble at His word, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Let us not be deceived; what a man sows, that he will also reap. Pray rather that the vineyard be not left to the wild beasts, but that the true Husbandman would dig about it and nurture it, that it might once more bring forth fruit unto repentance.
