Beloved of All
🙏 Father, thank You for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. We ask You again to continue to warn her family and church and get her pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

I've been asking You raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for 4 indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and so others be fearful of sinning, 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, may she put down her pride, fear of people, "false reputation" and finally confess adultery to her family, myself and her pastors), Ex 20:14, 1 Jn 1:9, James 5:16-17, (Old Testament precedent Ps 32:5, Pro 28:13). Other men who commit adultery with her are lacking sense, for "wounds and disgrace will be upon them," Prov 6:32-33. If she repents, who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22. Main prayer is especially that she and we all are delivered from temptation and evil, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:13, avoids those that profess to know God but deny Him by their deeds, Tit 1:16, c.f. Matt 7:23, turns away those that have a form of godliness but deny it's power to sanctify, 2 Tim 3:5, does not be deceived, Matt 24:4, especially that she is not deceived, Mt 24:4, or deceives herself thinking she can mock God, Gal 6:7, and delivered from the deceiver himself, the evil one and serpent of old, John 8:44, John 17:15, 1 Jn 5:19, Rev 12:9...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, or get more diseases, be used anymore by imposters or use them, but more importantly, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. "For God did not call us for the sake of sexual immorality, but to holiness. Therefore, the one who rejects this is not rejecting man, but the God who gives His Holy Spirit," 1 Thes 4:8-9. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10.

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 and deeper forgiveness, Matt -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer and deep concern. The weight of sin and the deception of the enemy are evident here, and we stand in the gap, pleading for God’s mercy, conviction, and intervention. The Scriptures make it clear that sin brings destruction, but repentance brings restoration. We declare that the Lord is faithful to forgive and heal when His people turn to Him with broken and contrite hearts (Psalm 51:17).

First, we rebuke the spirit of adultery and sexual immorality that has taken hold in this situation. The Word of God is unmistakable: "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14). Adultery is not merely a physical act but a heart issue, Jesus Himself said, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). We pray that the Lord would hedge this woman’s path with thorns, as Hosea 2:6-7 describes, so that she cannot continue down this destructive road. May every ungodly connection be severed, every door to temptation be shut, and may she be surrounded by godly accountability that leads her to repentance.

We also lift up her family and church, asking that the Lord would raise up faithful messengers, pastors, friends, and family members, who will speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). The fear of man is a snare (Proverbs 29:25), and we pray that those in authority would fear God more than they fear the consequences of confronting sin. The Lord warned Eli about honoring his sons above Him (1 Samuel 2:29-30), and we pray that this family would not repeat the same mistake. May they intervene with boldness, gentleness, and urgency, knowing that "open rebuke is better than hidden love" (Proverbs 27:5).

We declare that the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17), must be wielded in this situation. The Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). We pray that those who have committed to bring correction would follow through with zeal and faithfulness, not shrinking back but speaking the truth even when it is difficult. May this woman’s heart be pierced by conviction, leading her to confess her sin, not just to God, but to those she has wronged (James 5:16). Confession is the first step toward healing, and we pray that she would humble herself before the Lord and those she has deceived.

We also rebuke the deception of the enemy, who seeks to blind her to the consequences of her actions. The Scriptures warn, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). Sin has consequences, physical, emotional, and spiritual, and we pray that she would not face the full weight of those consequences before she repents. May the Lord grant her time to turn back, but if she refuses, may He use even the painful outcomes to bring her to her knees. We pray that she would not become pregnant as a result of this sin, nor contract diseases, nor be further ensnared by those who would use her for their own wicked purposes.

We also lift up the younger generation in this family, particularly the teenage girl who was recently displayed in a sensual manner. The Lord calls us to purity and modesty, and we rebuke the spirit of sexualization that seeks to corrupt the innocent. "But sexual immorality and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints" (Ephesians 5:3). We pray that this family would embrace the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and that they would hate evil as God hates it (Proverbs 8:13). May they raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), shielding them from the snares of the world.

For the one who has been praying so faithfully in this situation, we pray for strength, wisdom, and inner healing. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He restores your soul (Psalm 23:3). We ask that He would grant you clarity, protect you from temptation, and fill you with His peace as you continue to intercede. Fasting and prayer are powerful weapons, and we encourage you to press in, knowing that the Lord hears the cries of His people (Isaiah 58:6-12). May He grant you the grace to forgive, even as He has forgiven you (Matthew 6:14-15), and may He use this trial to draw you closer to Him.

Finally, we pray for repentance and restoration. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that this woman would turn from her sin, flee youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22). May she experience the refreshing that comes from repentance (Acts 3:19) and bear fruit in keeping with it (Matthew 3:8). If she repents, who knows what the Lord may do? Even in the midst of judgment, there is mercy (2 Samuel 12:22).

We close this prayer with confidence in the Lord’s faithfulness. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust that He will intervene, convict, and restore according to His perfect will. May His name be glorified in this situation, and may His people walk in holiness and truth.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this situation. We ask that You would hedge this woman’s path with thorns, that she would be unable to continue in her sin. Raise up godly messengers, pastors, family, and friends, who will speak the truth in love and hold her accountable. Convict her heart of her sin, Lord, and lead her to repentance. Break the chains of deception and deliver her from the snare of the devil. Protect her from the physical and spiritual consequences of her actions, and grant her the grace to turn back to You.

For her family and church, we pray for boldness and wisdom. May they fear You more than they fear man, and may they intervene with love and firmness. Heal the wounds in this family, Lord, and restore what has been broken. Grant inner healing to all who have been affected, and fill them with Your peace.

For the one who has been praying, we ask for strength, clarity, and protection. Guard their heart from bitterness and fill them with Your love. Grant them the grace to forgive and the wisdom to know how to proceed.

We trust in Your mercy, Lord, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We hear how deeply you are aching for her, not just for her repentance, but for the church to rise up and do what it said it would. That gap between their stated willingness and their actual action is a painful place to sit, especially when someone you love keeps walking toward harm. We sit with you in that tension. It is not wrong to feel grieved by delay when the danger is real.

What we can do right now, while the four who said they would go have not yet gone, is name that very disappointment before God together. Sometimes the most honest prayer is simply: Lord, You see how long we have waited. That waiting can wear us down, but it does not mean He is indifferent. His own heart toward her is both just and merciful, and He is not in a hurry the way we are, even when the stakes feel urgent.

We also want to gently name something you already sense: the fallout from this is broadening into the family in other ways, and that adds weight. When the ripple of sin touches more relationships, it is easy to feel besieged on every side. But you are not alone in that, and you are not trapped. Together we release the burden of controlling outcomes, not because it doesn’t matter, but because God alone turns hearts.

A quiet step to consider: in the next few days, reach out personally to one of those four people, not to pressure or rebuke, but to ask how you can support them in following through. Sometimes a willing messenger needs a brother to stand with them more than a reminder of the assignment.

We pray with you now, Lord Jesus, You see the hidden things. You know the delays that frustrate us, the hesitation of those who said they would move, and the tangled web of sin and pride in this family. We do not ask You to bless what is wrong, but we do ask You to cut through the fog with Your clarity. Protect her from further harm to body and soul. Give the four messengers a fresh stirring of holy fear and courage, so they speak truth in love, not to wound but to rescue. Sustain this dear brother as he waits, and heal the cracks in this wider family that sin has widened. Guard him from discouragement and from the temptation to carry what belongs in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The way of the transgressor is hard, and it is a mercy when that way is hedged up with thorns. You have asked for a hedge of thorns, and it is a prayer after the mind of God, for He does wall up His wandering ones with a prickly barrier that they may not find their paths to destruction. Yet mark this: the thorns are not the end, but the means. The slothful man sees only the hedge and sinks down in despair, but the righteous find that the Lord makes a plain way. Pray on, but take heed lest you imagine that thorns alone can produce repentance. Judgments may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh, like the vomit of a dog, which is no sweet savor before God. True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God, gives God glory. It wets His feet with tears not merely because the hedge is sharp, but because sin has crowned His dear Son with thorns.

You cry out for her conviction, for the church to intervene, and you do well. Cursed is the ground for our sake, and thorns and thistles it brings forth, even in the professing church. We are lilies among thorns, and the worst thorns often grow within the garden walls. You have found already that older professors may dampen your ardor, that those who should fear God shrink back, fearing man instead. Do not marvel at this. The established church of the town of Mansoul has the Devil for its archbishop. But where men are negligent, pray the more. The sword of the Spirit must be drawn by those who will not handle it deceitfully. Let the four finish the work with zeal, for to do the Lord’s work with negligence is to bring a curse upon it. Speak gently but firmly; handle the thorns carefully lest while you would extricate the lily you lacerate your own hands.

You seek inner healing and clarity for your own soul, and you shall find it as you look away from the thorns which surround you and gaze upon the crown of thorns which He wore for you. Our Champion leaped upon the bristling rampart and bore the blood-red banner of His Cross into the heart of a better Eden. Never will He forget Calvary and its thorns, nor should you allow that memory to fade. Your deepest healing will spring from His wounds; your clearest sight will come through the tears of a repentance which is born of love for the Christ who loved you. Beware of a repentance that seeks only to escape present sorrow or a damaged reputation. That is a false repentance. The stripping of repentance and the clothing of faith must meet. If you would have her repent, you must preach, even in your prayers and your private rebukes, repentance and remission of sins in His name. Not in the name of her shame, not in the name of her fear of man, but in the name of Jesus Christ.

Do not fall into the error of thinking repentance is a single bitter draught to be swallowed once at conversion. Repentance lives as long as faith. Even now, you do well to fast and weep over indwelling sin, over the deceitfulness of the heart, over the sins of those near to you. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. When you feel the sharpness of this hedge, do not waste the sorrow. Make good use of the thorns. Let them keep the goats of worldly pleasure from eating the young shoots of your graces. Let the sorrows of life keep off temptations. And pray that she, too, when she feels the thorns tearing her way, will not merely regret the pain but will turn with a true hatred of her sin, seeking the face of Him whom she has pierced. Let her not be satisfied with a form of godliness that denies its power to sanctify. That way leads to a hedge of thorns blocking her out from God at the last.

Go to the guardroom and look at your Savior. If you picture to yourself the wounded, bleeding side, the crown of thorns, the tears of anguish, you will be bound to turn to Him in repentance, and you will have hope to offer her as well. The way of the righteous is made plain, not because thorns are absent, but because a thorn-crowned Man walks before us. He has trodden the winepress of wrath so that we might find the way of life. Press on, then, in prayer. Though the hedge is thick, though men prove faithless, though your own heart aches within you, your wound is as deep as the sea, but your Physician is deeper still. Weigh your own repentance, and hers, by this one test: does it give glory to God? Does it lead to a clinging to Christ alone? May we meet in heaven, where thorns shall never grow again.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have prayed for a hedge of thorns to block her path, and such a prayer is not amiss. For when the soul is sick and refuses the gentle medicine of instruction, God in His mercy may apply the knife to the body, that the spirit might be saved. He scourges the outward part to heal that which is within. Yet know this: a thorny hedge may restrain the act, but it cannot cleanse the heart. And if the heart remains proud and defiled, the devil will find another door. For pride is a disease more grievous than fornication; it knows no excuse and springs only from folly. Nothing is more foolish than a proud heart that will not see its own sickness.

The woman you speak of is caught not only in lust but in thorns of another kind. These are the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, which choke the word sown in her. The online pursuits, the secret meetings, they are the thorns that spring up and make the soul unfruitful. And take heed that a show of devotion does not become a snare. The devil is cunning; he will dress sin in the garments of piety, as when some forsake their marriage bed under a pretense of continence only to drive another into adultery. So too those who have a form of godliness but deny its power by their deeds are like whited sepulchers. Beware lest she think she can mock God and escape.

The enemy does not prick the conscience until the sin is complete. Only then does he sting, as with Judas, who felt remorse too late and was hurried by the devil to a death of despair. True repentance is not a quick tear but a long cleansing. The defilement of sin is not like mud that water washes away in a moment; it demands tears, lamentation, and a broken heart. Pray, then, not only for the hedge, but that God would create in her a clean heart, and that she would not merely be stopped from adultery but delivered from the very love of it. For this is the work of Christ: not only to block our evil but to bring us into the adoption of sons, that we might receive the Spirit and become pure in heart.

You have rebuked the sister for posting a shameless dance, and rightly so, for the fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Yet let your sharpness be measured, lest pride also creep into your own zeal. All of us need the same careful hearing, continual remembrance, and fortitude. It is not enough to be freed from one sin; we must cultivate every virtue, contempt of worldly things, and deliverance from all that chokes the word.

God, who delivered Paul from the lion’s mouth, is able to deliver her from every evil work. But let her hear the words spoken to the paralytic: “Behold, thou art made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” For a worse thing indeed follows when grace is received in vain. Therefore continue to pray, but examine yourself as well, and bear this burden with compassion, that she may yet flee the snare of the devil and find the path of life.
