⛪️ Church, Family Intervene Mt 18:16-17, Convict Jn 16:8, Hedge w/Thorns Hos 2:6, Clarity, Avoids Evil Men 2 Tim 3:5, Inner Healing Isa 1:6 Ps 23:1-6, Stops Sinning, Knowledge of God, 1 Cor 8:1, Prov 9:10, Prov 8:13... 🙏 Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7...

Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

We join you in this burden and we hear the ache and holy jealousy in your prayer for this woman and for her family and church to intervene according to Matt 18:16-17. We thank God that you are standing in the gap and that you are praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved, as Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We affirm your desire to see the Holy Spirit convict her heart as Jesus promised He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8, and to see the hedge of thorns placed around her as in Hos 2:6-7 where God says I will hedge up your way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, so that she can't find her paths. She will follow after her lovers, but she won't overtake them. That hedge is a mercy, not a cruelty, to block the way of sin and to frustrate online dating and every pursuit that feeds lust. We must speak plainly here, what you have described is adultery and it must be called what it is. You shall not commit adultery Ex 20:14 and Jesus taught that everyone who gazes at another to lust after them has committed adultery with them already in his heart Matt 5:28. Whether through physical unfaithfulness or through the lust cultivated in online dating and entertaining lovers, this is fornication and adultery before God and it requires open confession and forsaking, not merely hinting. He who conceals his sins doesn't prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy Prov 28:13. We pray she will be given grace to finally confess this sin fully and turn from it.

We also hear your prayer for clarity, for knowledge of God, for her to avoid evil men and to stop sinning and to find inner healing. Scripture warns to turn away from those who have a form of godliness, but deny its power 2 Tim 3:5 and to awake to righteousness and not sin 1 Cor 15:34. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up 1 Cor 8:1, and the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding Prov 9:10, and the fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth Prov 8:13. We pray she and you both grow not merely in information but in the fear of the Lord and in love that abounds with knowledge and discernment so that you may approve the things that are excellent Phil 1:9-11 and be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord Col 1:9-10 and to stand fully assured in all the will of God Col 4:12. For inner healing we look to the Shepherd, Yahweh is our shepherd, we shall not want Ps 23:1, who restores the soul Ps 23:3, and who alone can bind the wounds described in Isa 1:6 where there is no soundness, only wounds and bruises and fresh sores.

We commend your heart that longs to show the compassion of the father of the prodigal who, when his son came to his senses and said I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight Luke 15:18-19, ran and embraced him Luke 15:20. That picture of godly sorrow which produces repentance leading to salvation which brings no regret 2 Cor 7:10 is exactly what we must pray for, repentance unto life 2 Cor 7:9-11, not worldly remorse. We also hear your willingness to say if God makes her holy you will not call her unclean Acts 10:15, and we honor that, yet we must also exhort you with equal firmness. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and any restoration must be toward holy marriage, not toward a partnership or dating relationship. Courtship must be with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity, what communion has light with darkness 2 Cor 6:14, and how can two walk together, unless they have agreed Amos 3:3. You are right to note she promised to support your calling as an evangelist and missionary and then ran from counsel. Do not be unequally yoked and do not move forward on sentiment alone. If she is truly born again there will be fruit, a hatred of her old sin, a willingness to take the place of a servant in humility, and a shared vision to honor Christ. All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable 2 Tim 3:16, and we must let it, not emotion, be the test.

We also join you in praying for her church and family and for those five who have indicated willingness to bring the Word. We rebuke the fear of man that so often silences pastors and families, for the fear of man proves to be a snare Prov 29:25, and God looks to him who is humble and contrite, and who trembles at His word Isa 66:2. We pray her pastors and relatives will fear God rather than man Matt 10:28 and will not honor family above God as Eli did, for which God said you honor your sons above me 1 Sam 2:29 and I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knew 1 Sam 3:13. May they not do the work of the Lord negligently Jer 48:10 but finish what they have started with love and zeal 2 Cor 8:11, gently and firmly, bearing the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God Heb 4:12. We pray they will obey the call to correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience 2 Tim 4:2 and that if she does not listen, the church will faithfully follow Matt 18:17. We pray this correction is done with gentleness, considering ourselves, lest we also be tempted Gal 6:1, and that it leads her to flee youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart 2 Tim 2:22, so that she does not simply stop attending church but is restored to fellowship.

We thank God for the promise that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Phil 1:6 and that His kindness is intended to lead us to repentance Rom 2:4, for the Lord is not slow concerning His promise, but is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9, yet we also remember there will be wrath and distress for every soul who does evil Rom 2:9. We pray that God will grant her repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, that she may escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive to do his will 2 Tim 2:25-26 and that those who persist in sin will be rebuked in the presence of all, that the rest also may be in fear 1 Tim 5:20.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You are not finished working. We ask that You convict her by Your Spirit John 16:8, hedge her way with thorns Hos 2:6 so she cannot find or overtake any lovers and that every door to online dating and adulterous pursuit be shut. Grant her clarity and wisdom as You give generously to those who ask James 1:5, deliver her from evil men and impostors 2 Tim 3:13, heal her inner wounds Isa 1:6, lead her as the Shepherd Ps 23:1-6, and cause her to come to her senses as the prodigal Luke 15:17, to confess her sin Ex 20:14 and forsake it. Raise up messengers who will not be negligent Jer 48:10 but who will speak Your Word Heb 4:12 with love and trembling at Your Word Isa 66:2. Give her family and pastors courage to fear You above all Matt 10:28. For this brother who prays, grant him ever increasing wisdom Col 1:9, love with discernment Phil 1:9, protection from temptation Luke 11:4 and deliverance from the evil one Matt 6:13 and John 17:15, for himself, for the youngster, and for all involved. Keep him from being unequally yoked 2 Cor 6:14 and from calling clean what You have not cleansed, yet give him perfect patience 1 Tim 1:16 if true repentance appears. We ask for Your will to be done, for hope and a future Jer 29:11, and we trust You who hears when we ask according to Your will Mark 11:24. Let gentleness and firmness meet, let repentance be genuine 2 Cor 7:11, and let any restoration be a holy marriage that honors You, in Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how long you have been carrying this burden and how much thought and prayer you have poured into it. Thank you for letting us stand with you. The way you keep asking for gentle, truthful help from her family and church, and for clarity and protection for everyone involved, shows real care for her and for what is right.

One thing we have learned walking with others in a similar wait is that even when we long for someone to turn around, that turning has to be their own choice before God. We can pray, we can invite trusted people to speak the truth in love, and we can keep the door open for reconciliation, but we cannot make the change happen for someone else. Reconciliation, when God brings it about, takes both people willing to walk in honesty and trust again.

It sounds like a few people have said they are willing to help. A steady next step could be to stay close to one pastor or counselor you trust for your own support, to talk through what is yours to do and what is in God's hands, and to let those others take their part in a calm, unpressured way. Continuing to care for your own walk with the Lord and for the youngster you mentioned matters too in this season.

Father, we bring this woman and this whole situation to You in Jesus' name. Grant wisdom and clarity to all involved, protect each one from harm and deception, bring healing where there is hurt, and lead each heart to seek You with honesty. Give our brother steadiness, discernment and peace as he waits on You. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is a weight and a holy earnestness in the prayer you have poured out, and it is good that you have brought it into the light before the Lord and before His people. We give thanks with you for grace to pray and for the confidence that He who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6. That confidence does not make us idle, but keeps us importunate at the mercy seat, as our Lord taught us that men ought always to pray and not to faint, Luke 18:1.

We must be plain concerning the things you have named. The way of the Lord concerning marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to that union is to be kept within it. What lies outside it, whether in thought as in Matthew 5:28, or in deed as in Exodus 20:14, is sin against God and must be called sin, confessed as sin, and forsaken. There is no blessing to be asked upon adultery or upon the seeking of lovers through the vanities of online dating. To pray for a hedge with thorns after the word in Hosea 2:6 and 7 is to pray that the Lord in mercy would block the paths that lead to destruction, so that the soul, not finding its lovers, may remember and return. That is a prayer agreeable to His goodness, for His goodness is meant to lead us to repentance, Romans 2:4, and He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9.

Yet we must weigh what repentance is, for there are many counterfeits. Judgment may produce a carnal repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of fallen nature, but true repentance is the work of the Spirit of God and it gives God glory. Here are scales and balances wherewith you may weigh repentance before God. Does it make a man weep and abhor his past life because the love of Christ has pardoned it, and does it make him avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for him. That repentance which leads a soul to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, that repentance which purges the soul from dead works and then fills it with living works, that is repentance unto life, Acts 11:18. It will yield works meet for repentance and it will last, not as a transient emotion but as a principle that lives as long as faith lives. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the finished work of Christ.

You have prayed rightly that she may come to herself as did the prodigal in Luke 15:17 to 19, admitting that she has sinned against heaven and before man, humbled and willing to take the lowest place. Remember how that parable teaches us that the eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. The father saw his son when he was yet a great way off, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him much. Those repeated kisses meant much love, much forgiveness and full restoration, and they revealed exceeding joy. So it shall be if the Lord grants repentance that needs not to be repented of, 2 Corinthians 7:9 to 11. But that restoration is not a mere return to former sentiment, it is a new creation. If she be truly born again, she will love what God loves and hate what God hates, and she will know the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom, Proverbs 9:10, and to depart from evil, Proverbs 8:13. Then and only then could two walk together in the work of an evangelist and missionary, for how can two walk together except they be agreed, Amos 3:3, and what fellowship has light with darkness, what communion has Christ with Belial, 2 Corinthians 6:14. The law said you shall not plow with an ox and an ass together, Deuteronomy 22:10, and the gospel says do not be unequally yoked. If the Lord makes clean, who are we to call unclean, Acts 10:15, but the Lord makes clean by washing in the blood and by making holy in life.

Therefore we join you in asking the Lord to send conviction by the Holy Spirit, John 16:8, to give clarity and wisdom, James 1:5, that you both may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding to walk worthy of the Lord, Colossians 1:9 and 10, and to stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Colossians 4:12, with love abounding in knowledge and discernment to choose the most excellent way and be blameless unto the day of Christ, Philippians 1:9 to 11. We ask that she may be delivered from temptation, from lies, from evil and evil men and from the evil one himself, Matthew 6:13, John 17:15, and that she may learn to turn away from such as have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, 2 Timothy 3:5, and to flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart, 2 Timothy 2:22. For the wounds described in Isaiah 1:6, we ask the healing of the great Shepherd who makes us to lie down in green pastures and restores the soul, Psalm 23.

You have entreated the Lord to move family and church to intervene according to Matthew 18:16 and 17, and to raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, Hebrews 4:12. That is right and needful. Sin loves darkness and secrecy, and the snare of the devil holds many captive to do his will, 2 Timothy 2:25 and 26. The Lord has ordained that His people should go after the wandering one gently and firmly, lest others also be emboldened to sin, 1 Timothy 5:20, and yet with meekness considering ourselves lest we also be tempted, Galatians 6:1. Pray that those who have said they will speak will finish the work with love and reverence for Christ and for His covenant, not with negligence, Jeremiah 48:10, but with zeal, 2 Corinthians 8:11. Pray that pastors and friends may fear God rather than man, for the fear of man brings a snare, Proverbs 29:25, but the fear of the Lord and trembling at His word, Isaiah 66:2, gives courage to speak. As He warned Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29 and 30 and 1 Samuel 3:13 and 14, so He still calls shepherds to honor Him above house and kindred, Matthew 10:28. We thank God for the five of whom you speak who are willing to bring the Word, and we pray the Lord will add to them boldness and a fit season, that it may be done so gently that she will not be driven from the means of grace, yet so faithfully that she cannot rest in sin.

And for yourself, dear soul, we pray that you may be kept from sin and from presumption, that knowledge may not puff up but love may build up, 1 Corinthians 8:1, that you may be delivered from all imposture and kept from the tempter, and that your own patience may be perfected. The goodness of God does not drive like a slave master with a whip, it draws with cords of love. Wait then upon Him who has shown you perfect patience as in 1 Timothy 1:15 and 16, and leave the issue in His hands, for who knows what the Lord will do, 2 Samuel 12:22. If He grants repentance unto life, there will be full restoration as with the returning prodigal, with music and dancing in the Father's house and joy among His people to receive again one who was lost. If He shows you another path, you shall still have a hope and a future as He promised in Jeremiah 29:11, because your hope is in Christ alone.

We will pray with you now that the Lord would hedge the way with thorns where thorns are needed for preservation, that He would grant godly sorrow that worketh repentance to salvation, that He would heal inward wounds, grant increasing clarity, keep from evil men, and cause His Word to run swiftly and prevail, to the glory of His name. May it be done in gentleness and truth, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise forever.
