The discussion group is later on today, so in like 4 hours. We need God to be present & fill the room. No mocking of Jesus hopefully. The conversation to be centred on Christ at all times. Speak about the harsh topics, as well as the easy.

I didn't get to talk to my pastor about baptism, the revelation topic, or what I wanted to say Infront of the congregation. I also didn't go to church on that Sunday, as my friend didn't go, so I saw that as an excuse, which brought shame, though not from God.

I did see a difference in the people that were there last time. I could feel God speaking to me through those people & i felt a genuineness from them, especially one of the women who kindly gave me a lift there & back. I think I can even say I saw the joy of the Lord in her & I'm happy for her, but I also want the joy of the Lord. Do I have it if when I get talking about Jesus (mostly with someone I'm comfortable around or doesn't talk a lot, which means I'm the one who talks a lot) I get excited & end up talking louder & smiling?

I still want Jesus to speak through us all to each other & build each other up, as that's what a church is supposed to do. The next session is at the start of September, so I pray for whoever comes next time, whether the same people or not, that that same presence of God is felt & He speaks through us all to each other & that we speak of the things of Christ & not of this world.

Thank you to anyone who replies or prays for me, God bless you

We lift up this discussion group to the Lord, asking that His presence would fill the room in a mighty way. May every conversation be centered on Christ, from the easiest topics to the most challenging ones. Father, we pray against any spirit of mockery or distraction that would seek to pull hearts away from You. Let Your truth be spoken in love, and may Your Holy Spirit guide every word and thought. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:20)

We also bring before You the weight of conviction regarding missed opportunities, whether it was skipping church or not speaking with the pastor about baptism or sharing with the congregation. The enemy would love to use shame to keep us silent, but we declare that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We encourage you to bring these burdens to the Lord in repentance, trusting that He forgives and restores. If the Holy Spirit is leading you toward baptism, we pray for boldness to take that step of obedience. Baptism is a powerful declaration of faith, a symbol of dying to sin and rising with Christ (Romans 6:4).

It’s beautiful to hear how God spoke to you through others in the group, how their genuineness and joy reflected Him. The joy of the Lord is indeed our strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and if your heart leaps with excitement when talking about Jesus, that is a sign of His work in you. Don’t let the enemy twist that into doubt. The fact that you desire His presence and long to see others built up in faith is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in your life.

For the next gathering, we pray that God would prepare hearts, whether familiar faces or new ones, to receive His Word. May the group be a place where iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), where believers encourage one another in love and good works (Hebrews 10:24-25). Let the focus remain on Christ, not the things of this world, and may every person leave feeling edified and drawn closer to Him.

Lord, we ask that You would continue to grow this brother or sister in boldness and discernment. Give them wisdom in what to share and when, and let their words be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6). May they walk in the fullness of the joy that comes from knowing You, and may that joy overflow to others. We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

It’s good you reached out before the discussion group today. We’re praying with you that God fills that room and that every word honors Christ. The very desire for him to be at the center, even in the hard topics, already shows the Spirit stirring in you, that kind of hunger isn’t something we drum up on our own.

The shame you mentioned after missing church, we hear you. Shame whispers that you’re the flaw, not just your choice, but you already sensed that didn’t come from God. He convicts to draw us back; shame tries to push us into hiding. So we’re glad you’re not letting that heaviness keep you stuck. You’re here, still pressing into community, still listening for God’s voice through others, like that woman whose joy you recognized. And the way you light up when you talk about Jesus, getting louder and smiling, that’s not nothing. That’s the gladness of someone who knows his name matters. Don’t dismiss it.

For now, a simple step: after the group, why not reach out to your pastor this week to talk through baptism and the other things on your heart you didn’t get to bring up? You deserve a space to voice those questions, and he can help you prepare if you still sense you need to speak before the congregation later. Meanwhile, walk into today’s meeting trusting that Jesus is already working through the people there, including you.

Lord Jesus, thank you that you promise to be present wherever two or three gather in your name. Fill that discussion group with your Spirit; protect the time from mocking or distraction, and lead the conversation into truth that builds everyone up, even on the hard subjects. Lift the lingering shame this dear brother or sister has been carrying, and replace it with the quiet confidence that they are yours, welcomed, loved, and free. Let the excitement they feel when speaking of you grow into deep, steady joy. And in September, bring whoever needs to be there, and speak through each person. In your name we pray, amen.

The best we can do is be sober. Be chaste. Work hard and love God. Praise Lord Yeshua. And for having community where you can praise and worship and thank God openly. Its hard to open up to freinds and family about God. My mom and papaw ### mostly believe. And my nemaw does. I guess I could open up my bible more and talk to them about God. May Father God and Lord Yeshua honor your request freind so that when you congregate the love of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit is present with you all. And God is glorified. In the joy of him. The hope of him. And in the tough times when we are put to the test. Find that hope in God and pray hard. Worship hard and cleave to the Lord. May it all wirk out because we pray and live the Lord and do his will. Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

You speak of the discussion group, and my heart leaps with concern and hope. The solemn assembly of God’s people is no trifling thing. You pray that no mocking of Jesus may be heard. Remember, the palaces of emperors and the halls of kings afforded the royal stranger no refuge. Alas, seldom is there room for Christ in palaces. How often do the proud hearts of men, even in religious gatherings, shut the door against the Anointed. But you have felt something different in that room. You have seen genuineness; you have beheld what you believe to be the joy of the Lord in a sister’s countenance. That is no small thing. The Church of the living God is the pillar and ground of the Truth. Where Christ is lifted up, there His presence will be. Pray still that the conversation be centred on Him, for the name of Jesus Christ our Lord is the one light that shines in our hearts to give the knowledge of the glory of God.

You speak of your own heart with much searching: the shame for absenting yourself, the longing for holy joy, the way your voice rises and your smile breaks forth when you speak of Jesus. Let me put your mind at rest on this point, if I can. You say, “Do I have the joy of the Lord if I get excited?” Let me turn that around. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Do you feel a fire within when Christ is the theme? Do you find that to teach a little child his letters for Christ, or to talk of Him with a willing ear, gives your true heart some taste of that joy? That is not the froth of mere human excitement; it is the very indicator of His presence. The light of joy varies, and so does the warmth of holy strength. He who dwells in the light of God is both happy and strong. Do not despise the spark because you long for a flame; rather, ask the Lord to direct your heart into the love of God, that this brook may become a river. The love of God shines best in the patience of Christ, and yet it also sparkles in the smiles of His saints.

You also mention the baptism and the words you did not speak, and the Sunday you stayed away. You say shame came, though not from God. Then from whence? Our God is mighty of heart, and because He is so great and mighty, all things must be little to Him. He despises not any; He makes not little of those who are of lowly rank, nor does He cast away the trembling soul that hid from the assembly. But let this be a goad, not a grave. The magnanimity of God is the reason why He despises no one, but He would have you stand where He has placed you. You are to be a soldier of the cross, and you will find no ease in all your life-warfare. There is no room in this world for any true follower of Christ to take his ease. You felt the impulse to speak, to obey in baptism, to be present with the flock. Do not silence that impulse again. I am somewhat of a believer in the doctrine of the inward impulse of the Spirit, and I fear lest we should check one of them.

Now, for the gathering ahead and the one in September, you have set your desire well: that God would make that place a blessing, that the rain of His grace would fall, and that you would speak of the things of Christ. I charge you, then: give the Word of God free admittance into your spirits. In your discussion, beware of picking and choosing in reference to the commands of Christ. Speak on the harsh topics as well as the easy, and conceal not the words of the Holy One. How will such conduct look at the Last Great Day if we keep back the Divine Bread from perishing millions? You want Christ to speak through you all to each other. Then let your mind be an open port, carrying on a free trade in the treasures of the Gospel. Your own experience, your own excited, smiling testimony of Jesus, bring it forth. He is the Consolation of Israel. Can a man have Jesus for his joy and yet be weighed down with sadness? Believe me, the world is as barren of joy as the Sahara. So speak, and build, and pray that God would send upon that little church showers of blessing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of wanting the joy of the Lord, and I see you already taste it. That excitement, that loud voice and smiling when you speak of Christ, do not despise it as something small. It is no mere human enthusiasm. It is the fire of the Spirit stirring within you, the very fruit of the Spirit which is love and joy. The world’s joy is mixed with sorrow, but this joy is born from godly tears and a heart fixed on Jesus. When you mourn your own failings, when you feel shame for neglecting the assembly, do not let that shame become despair. Let it be the wound that drives you to the Healer. Repentance is not meant to leave you cast down, but to lift you up like that woman who wept at Jesus’ feet and rose more honorable than virgins. Her tears became a fountain of unfading joy. So with you: the very grief you feel for missing church can be the seed of a more steadfast rejoicing.

You worry whether you have the joy of the Lord because you still struggle. But hear Paul: “Rejoice in the Lord alway.” He wrote this while in chains, while scourged, while hungry. His joy did not depend on everything going right. It came from a good conscience, from knowing he belonged to Christ. So do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. You long to speak of baptism and the revelation you carry; you grieve that you missed the chance. Pour out that longing before Him, and then leave the outcome to His providence. The opportunity will come again if He wills. Do not let the storm of confusing thoughts overwhelm you. Give place to God’s providence.

You pray that God would fill the room and that the conversation would be centered on Christ. That is a holy request. And when His peace comes, that peace which passes all understanding, it will guard your heart and mind. You do not need a special building for this. You are the temple of the living God, and where two or three gather in His name, He is there. The genuineness you saw in those people, the joy shining from that woman who drove you, is exactly what Christ produces in those who hold fast to their adoption. You are called to be a saint, sanctified in Christ Jesus. That calling is not broken by a missed Sunday or a friend’s absence. It is kept by clinging to holiness and peace, by a conversation worthy of the gift.

So do not let your shame silence you. Let it send you running to Christ all the more. The next time you gather, whether with the same people or new faces, speak boldly of the harsh topics and the sweet ones. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. And as you speak, remember that the true feast is not one day but a whole life lived in His presence. Your excitement, your loud voice, these are signs of the new wine of the kingdom. Cherish them. And if you stumble again, that is not the end. The loving-kindness of our Lord is deeper than your failures. He will fill your heart with joy and gladness, that you may abound in every good work, not being ashamed when He comes. May He grant you to obtain this joy, and may His peace reign in your heart both now and forever.

Not much of a prayer request, but more so of a question. Is revelation about the end times or is it something do with the Roman emperor? I only ask this as it was brought up in the discussion group today, because I suggested end times as a topic in Christianity that we could talk about, & I was...
