Chronic migraines

We join together with you in bringing this burden of chronic migraines, nausea and eye pain before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for coming to us in the precious name of Jesus.

We know how wearing and discouraging chronic pain can be, and we are reminded that our God sees your suffering and cares deeply for you. He is the One who heals us and who invites us to bring every affliction to Him. Psalm 103:2-3 says Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And Exodus 15:26 reminds us For I am Yahweh who heals you. We cling also to the promise in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and to the invitation of Jesus in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

We lift you up together now in prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one who is suffering with chronic migraines, nausea and eye pain. Lord, You know the intensity and the frequency of this pain, the days lost and the weariness it brings. We ask for Your healing touch upon their head and eyes and stomach. Please bring relief from the throbbing pain, calm the nausea, ease the pressure and pain behind the eyes, and restore peace and rest to their body. We pray that You would guide them to wise and compassionate medical care and give wisdom to any doctors who treat them, and we ask for Your grace to help them steward their body with rest, hydration and care as You lead. Above all, let them feel Your nearness and comfort in the midst of this trial, knowing that You are near to all who call upon You. We ask this in the healing and mighty name of Jesus, our Great Physician, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares upon Him daily, for He cares for you, and to keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word. James 5:15 tells us The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep trusting Him even on the difficult days, and do not hesitate to seek godly medical counsel as the Lord provides. We are standing with you and believing that God who hears our prayers will bring relief and strength according to His perfect will and timing.

We're holding you in prayer as you walk through these ongoing migraines. Living with head pain that brings nausea and eye pain is exhausting, and we can imagine how draining it must be day after day.

When something is chronic like this, it can wear on more than the body. It can affect sleep, energy, mood, and the simple hope of making plans. Please know you are not forgotten in this, and God sees both the physical pain and the discouragement that can come with it.

We are praying for relief for you, for wisdom for those caring for you, and for steadiness for you in the waiting. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to stay connected with your doctor or clinic about what you are experiencing, so they can walk with you in care. If you have people close to you, let them know when the pain is at its worst so you are not carrying it alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You know the pain in their head and eyes, the nausea, the tiredness. Please bring comfort, ease what hurts, and give clear guidance to their caregivers. Give them rest and peace today, and remind them they are held in Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We have heard your request concerning these chronic migraines with nausea and eye pain, and we join you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a Physician for our healing. Blessed be God, we have such a Physician in Christ Jesus. Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He healed the sick of the palsy He showed that pardon and healing are one in His hand.

Calvary is the place for the healing balm. There the great conduit Head pours abundant streams of healing down to men below. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that you may prove this in your own body, and that whether the Lord is pleased to grant immediate relief or to sustain you through continued trial, you may know His gracious presence dwelling with you.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, feeder of sparrows and healer of the wounded, look in mercy upon this suffering one. You know the pain of these migraines, the nausea and the soreness of the eyes, the weariness of days and nights without rest. Lay Your hand upon Your servant and grant relief according to Your perfect will. Ease the pain, calm the sickness, and give rest to the body. Above all, let Your pardoning and healing grace be manifest, that soul and body may be strengthened to serve You. We ask this not for any merit in us, but through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and our great Physician, who is able to heal and willing to receive all who come to Him. Amen.
