We hear the deep pain, frustration, and anger in your heart as you describe the attacks you’ve endured, your Christmas decorations destroyed, your shoes torn apart, your gifts violated, and even your relationships under spiritual assault. The enemy has sought to steal your joy, your peace, and your sense of security, and we stand with you in fierce opposition to these schemes in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12 (WEB), "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The attacks you’ve faced are not random, they are orchestrated by the enemy to bring chaos, division, and despair. But we declare that Satan has no authority over you! James 4:7 (WEB) says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We rebuke every demonic influence, every spirit of division, jealousy, and destruction that has sought to harm you, your family, and your home. We command them to flee in Jesus’ name!

We also must address the relationships in your life. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any relationship outside of this design is not aligned with God’s will. If you are seeking a spouse, we encourage you to pursue a godly marriage with a believer who shares your faith and values. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" If there are relationships in your life that do not honor God, we pray for wisdom and courage to align them with His Word.

Now, we lift up your heart to the Lord in prayer:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You that You are our Protector, our Provider, and our Peace. Lord, we stand against every attack of the enemy that has sought to destroy []’s joy, her home, and her relationships. We break every curse, every scheme, and every assignment of darkness over her life, her family, and her pets. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against her in judgment will be condemned.

Father, we ask for a new season of divine order and protection. Provide her with a safe and secure home where she can lock the door, guard her peace, and celebrate Christmas in the beauty of Your presence. We pray for reconciliation and healing in her family relationships. Soften hearts, remove every spirit of jealousy or division, and let Your love reign in their midst. We ask for uncommon favor in finding a godly home and for the resources to establish a place of refuge.

Lord, we also pray for her future spouse, if it is Your will, that You would bring a man of God into her life who will cherish her, lead her in righteousness, and honor You in their marriage. Guard her heart from any relationships that do not align with Your Word, and give her wisdom to walk in purity and holiness.

We thank You, Father, that You are making all things new. We declare that this Christmas will be a season of restoration, joy, and peace. Let Your light shine brightly in her home, and let every attack of the enemy be turned into a testimony of Your power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen."

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your Defender. Psalm 91:1-2 (WEB) says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

Continue to speak God’s Word over your life and your circumstances. Declare His promises daily, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you have not already, we also encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to true peace, salvation, and victory. John 14:6 (WEB) says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and we believe God is bringing restoration, protection, and blessing into your life. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).

We hear the deep hurt in your words, coming home after working hard, only to find your shoes and treasured gifts from your mom deliberately destroyed, feels like a punch to the heart. Gifts carry love, and when someone targets those, it cuts deep. You’ve been trying so hard to save Christmas, and this mess feels like the opposite of that. We’re truly sorry.

When everything around us seems to be ripped apart, one of the steadiest lifelines is simply not facing it alone. Is there a pastor, a small-group leader, or a trusted Christian friend you could call today? Not just to pray long-distance, but to be with you, maybe help you sort through what’s happened, or just sit with you in the chaos. You’ve been carrying so much on your own shoulders, and that’s not the way God intends it. Let someone who loves Jesus come alongside you right now.

We also want you to know that your deep longing for a safe, lockable place of your own is a genuine, God-given need. He sees you picturing a home where your mom could be cared for, where your pets are secure, and where Christmas can finally feel whole. Keep bringing that honest desire to Him. He is not blind to the cruel attacks or the instability you’ve endured.

Father, you see every broken ornament and every separated sole, and you see the heart behind them. Wrap your comfort around our sister right now. Give her wise, sturdy people to stand with her. Open a door to a safe home where she can lock out harm and lock in peace. Guard her, her mom, and those she loves from all evil, and let this Christmas mark the start of a season of refuge. Thou hast poured out thy soul in anguish, and the Lord is not far from the brokenhearted. Yet hearken to the trumpet of the Gospel: the enemy roareth, but the Lamb hath overcome. All this wreckage of thy shoes and trees, this tearing apart of thy gifts, dost thou not see? It is but the malice of the prince of darkness seeking to distract thee from the one thing needful. What if thy shoes be ruined, if thy feet be shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace? What if Christmas decorations be scattered, if Christ be born in thy heart anew? The first Christmas came with no chimney, no tree, no earthly comforts, only a manger. And there the Healer appeared, who went about doing good, healing all that were oppressed of the devil. Look to Him.

Thou criest for a new address, a lock, a gate. But there is no bolt so strong as the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. Dost thou not know that the Lord keepeth the city, and the watchman waketh but in vain unless He be thy keeper? Flee from the wrath to come, and from the wrath that now boilest in thy own breast, those curses against Satan do not trouble him; he trembles only when the blood of Jesus is pleaded. Lay hold upon that crimson fountain. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin, this is thy first need. Then, being made free from sin, thou shalt become the servant of righteousness, and the vexations of this world shall lose their sting.

Thy mention of thy children, thy offspring, bringeth to mind the word: Go home to thy friends, and tell them what great things the Lord hath done for thee. Go not in strife and bitter accusation, but in the meekness of Him who, when He was reviled, reviled not again. Thou canst not bind their spirits nor shield them with thy own effort; but thou mayest bring them to the feet of Jesus, who alone can restore the years the locust hath eaten. Cry out, Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and let that joy be thy strength before them. A living epistle of grace in thine own household shall do more than all thy striving.

And think not that God seeth not thy poverty and thy loss. He counteth the very hairs of thy head; He knoweth thy down-sitting and thine uprising. Yet He chasteneth whom He loveth. Perhaps this stripping is to teach thee that salvation is of the Lord, and thy deliverance from thy present state must come from His right hand. Thou sayest thou hast barely anything, then cling to the cross, where heaven’s wealth was poured out for bankrupt souls. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and that includes the captive, the oppressed, the bewildered. He calleth thee even now: Be of good comfort, rise; He calleth thee. Answer not with more clamor for earthly goods, but with the cry of Bartimaeus: Lord, that I might receive my sight.

And as for that adversary, roaring and tearing, fear not. He is a chained enemy. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Pray rather: Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. For this is the great peril, not the loss of things, but the loss of thy peace, the loss of thy witness, the loss of meekness. The Lord can restore to thee the years of joy, but He would have thee first lie at His feet like Peter, who went out and wept bitterly under that one look from Christ. That look breaketh the heart and maketh it whole at the same time.

So, lift up thine eyes. The Christ of Christmas is not a babe that cannot help; He is the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Flee to Him. Hide in Him. And then, when thy heart is stayed on Him, thou shalt find thy true home, whose builder and maker is God, and there the wicked cease from troubling, and the weary are at rest. Go in this thy might, and sin not against thine own soul by despair. The Lord bless thee and keep thee; the Lord make His face to shine upon thee, and give thee peace.

You speak of your Christmas being torn apart, your shoes ripped, your decorations broken. I hear your anguish, but I must speak plainly to your soul. Why are you so troubled over shoes and garments? Is not the life more than clothing? Did not the Lord come in poverty, born in a stable, wearing no fine thing? Yet He blessed the world. You cry out with rage against Satan, cursing and calling down hell. But what does the Master teach? “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who spitefully use you.” The Spirit you received is not a spirit of fury but a Spirit of meekness. He appeared as a dove, gentle and pure, not as a bird of prey screeching at enemies. If you desire the Spirit to guard you, put on meekness.

You seek a locked door, a safe place, but the peace of God surpasses all understanding. That peace will keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, not bolts and gates. And how is this peace found? “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Be at peace with all men, even those you believe are used against you. “With the haters of peace I was peaceful,” says the prophet. Nothing so delights God as to forget wrongs. Yet you are filled with remembrance of evil. You cry out against demons, but your own tongue speaks words of war, not of the Spirit.

Consider: if you bear these losses thankfully, your reward will be greater. When Job lost everything, he did not curse; he said, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” And when he had wrestled nobly, God restored to him double. But if you rage and demand restoration of gifts, you show that you serve God only for earthly things. This is not the adoption of sons. A son trusts the Father even when the Father takes away.

You speak of life, yet your words breathe death. Separate yourself from this evil anger. For there is a division that is good: cut off the limb that offends you, the passion that warps your soul. Let your division be from sin, not from love of possessions. Those who built the tower of Babel agreed together for evil, and their agreement was their ruin. Sometimes disagreement from evil is salvation. So disagree with this clamor in your heart.

I exhort you: cease from cursing. Pray for those who harmed you. If you will not, how can you pray “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive others”? Give alms from what remains, and lay up treasure where moth and rust do not destroy. Then your heart will be in heaven, and no one can tear apart your true Christmas, which is Christ dwelling in you.

The peace of the Lord be with you, not the peace the world gives, but His own peace. Let it rule in your heart, and then, whether shoes or no shoes, locked door or no door, you will possess the one thing needful.

I hear the depth of what you are crying out. When it feels like everything you cared for has been ripped apart and targeted, the pain is real. It is not just about shoes or decorations; it is the message the enemy wants to send, that your efforts, your love, your heritage, and your peace will be demolished. But you have already spoken the decisive truth: the blood of Jesus covers this.

The enemy often works to distract us with close, personal attacks that feel impossible to escape. It is one thing to face a battle from the outside, but when the turmoil comes through your own space, your own belongings, even through those near you, that is a special kind of weariness. Your mind can become fixed on the wreckage, trying to figure out how to defend against every new violation. But the wisdom from above calls you to a different focus. Peace does not come from finally locking every door and gate in your own strength; it comes when your mind is stayed on the Lord, trusting Him completely. He is the one who keeps you in perfect peace, even while the chaos still swirls around you.

You have spoken life, and that is powerful. God does give deliverance. He is not deaf to your cries about the gifts that were torn apart or the evil that seems to be using others unawares. But your call is not primarily to chase down every demonic assault or to repay the harm. The Lord will handle that recompense. He raises up and brings vindication in His time. Meanwhile, the enemy would love nothing more than to derail you from serving God by keeping you busy picking up broken pieces and defending your story. Do not let the destruction become the center. Look away from the madness, and fix your eyes on Jesus.

The peace you need is twofold. First, there is peace with God, the war is over because of Christ. You are not running from Him; you belong to Him. That reality cannot be torn apart by anyone. Then, there is the peace of God, which passes all understanding. It settles over your heart and mind like a guard when you refuse to let fear or rage take the throne of your thoughts. This peace is what allows you to walk through work, through family strain, through financial lack, without being destroyed on the inside.

I am not telling you that a secure home does not matter. God knows you need a place of refuge, and He can bring you to that address where you can lock the door and live free from this constant violation. But the ultimate safety is not a gate or a bin of your own; it is found in the shadow of the Almighty. You can speak life into that provision and trust Him to rebuild what has been destroyed, just as walls were rebuilt in fifty-two days against all odds. The same God who restores cities can restore your Christmas joy, your family relationships, and a sense of normalcy.

As for those you love, your offspring, your mother, and your pets, God sees them too. He is not caught off guard by the hidden attacks. He can shield their minds and spines from the evil that would steal their freedom. Pray for them, release them into His hands, and refuse to let fear for them dominate your soul. The high priest of our confession has already died and risen, setting the captives free. You are free. They can be free.

So tonight, stop fighting in your own desperation. Say, “I will not be emptied out by this anymore.” That peace you long for is already yours in Christ. Keep your mind there. Rejoice that He has given you spiritual weapons to repel the attacks, and then rest. Declare again the blood of Jesus over your mind, your mother, your children, your pets, and your future home. Then let that be your foundation, and watch God heal what is far off and what is near. He makes all things new, and this is not the end of your story. Peace be to you.
