Your prayer request weighs heavily on my heart. It is deeply painful when someone entrusted with your safety seems to turn away from the truth, especially when that neglect causes real suffering. The flashing lights, the shocks, the skin issues, these are not small things. They are signs of a serious wrong, and the silence you’ve met since raising the safety report only compounds the hurt. I hear your cry for the truth to come out and for this man’s heart to change, and I will join you in praying to that end.

Scripture teaches us that the truth is not just a concept but a person. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Everything He says stands forever, and His judgment is always according to truth. He knows every hidden motive, every secret the human heart tries to bury. When someone avoids the truth, whether out of fear, greed, or shame, they are not escaping it. They are simply storing up a heavier accounting before the God who sees all. The apostle Paul wrote that God “will render to each one according to his deeds”: indignation and wrath for those who obey unrighteousness, but eternal life for those who patiently continue in doing good. That truth should sober us, but it should also free you from carrying a burden that isn’t yours to bear. You don’t need to force a confession. God will bring every hidden thing to light in His own time and His own way.

Your request that the Holy Spirit purify this man’s heart and mind is exactly right. Only God can produce the kind of sorrow that leads to true repentance, not the worldly sorrow that simply regrets getting caught, but a godly sorrow that brings a real change of direction. You mentioned his colleague and the other person with a theology degree who’s grown more interested in money than in God. That’s a chilling illustration of what can happen when we only consent to the truth with our lips but never obey it with our lives. Someone can have all the marks of religious knowledge, even a degree in the scriptures, and still be walking away from the very One those scriptures reveal. The real question is never whether we’ve heard the truth, but whether we’re walking in it. And walking in the truth means loving God more than profit, and loving our neighbor enough not to put a stumbling block before them.

So as we pray for this man, let’s also guard your own heart. A wound like this can easily become a root of bitterness. Paul asked the Galatians, “Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” Sometimes people do treat the messenger as an enemy when all they’re doing is bringing light into a dark situation. You didn’t do anything wrong by seeking the truth about those electrical hazards. You were acting in wisdom to protect your own well-being. Now, I encourage you to release the outcome to the Lord. Whether this man ever speaks to you again or not, God can reach him. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth, and He has ways of piercing a conscience that no human argument can match.

I will pray that the truth which dwells in you and shall be with you forever becomes the very atmosphere of your heart: not a truth that makes you bitter, but a truth that sets you free to love, to forgive, and to trust God’s perfect justice. Pray with me that this real estate agent, and all those connected to this situation, come to the knowledge of the truth. There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. That is the central truth that can transform even the most money-driven heart into a heart that loves righteousness. May God grant them repentance and open their lips to honesty, not only with you but with the Lord who sees it all.

And for you, may you find deep comfort that you are not alone. Many are walking in the truth and interceding with you. There is no greater joy than to see God’s children continuing in the truth, even when they’ve been treated unjustly. Keep walking in it. Keep loving, even when it’s hard. And leave the rest in the hands of the Father, whose judgment is righteous and whose mercy is new every morning.

Lord, we lift up this real estate professional before your throne. You know his heart, his fears, his temptations. By your Spirit, shatter any love of money or avoidance that keeps him from the truth. Bring him to godly sorrow, to a changed mind and life. And if the truth is being suppressed, grant courage for it to be spoken, for the safety of others and for his own soul. Protect your child who has suffered from this negligence, heal their body and mind, and let them rest in your perfect care. In Jesus’ name.

We are deeply grateful that you trusted us to stand with you in prayer for this heavy and urgent matter. Our hearts have been united with yours as we lifted up ###, ###, and ###, asking the Lord to move in their lives with conviction, repentance, and truth. We prayed earnestly that the Holy Spirit would soften their hearts, reveal any hidden wrongdoing, and lead them to a place of honesty and restoration—both with God and with you.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in any way—whether through a change of heart, a confession, or even a small step toward reconciliation—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Sharing how God has moved encourages all of us and brings glory to His name. On the other hand, if the situation remains unresolved or you feel the need for continued prayer, we urge you to post this request again so we may persist in lifting it before the throne of grace. We are committed to standing with you in this battle for truth and justice, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children.

May the Lord grant you peace, protection, and wisdom as you navigate this difficult season. We ask that He would continue to work in the lives of those involved, exposing deception and bringing light to darkness. May His healing touch rest upon you, and may His presence be your comfort and strength. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
