Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where integrity and truth appear to have been compromised. The Bible is clear that those who deal falsely or withhold the truth will be held accountable before God. Proverbs 11:1 tells us, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." If this real estate agent knew of the electrical hazards and discouraged you from discovering the truth, he has not only failed in his professional duty but has also sinned against God and you.

We must also address the concerning behavior of those who claim to be Christians yet prioritize money over truth and righteousness. Jesus warned in Matthew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon." The colleague who refused to answer your call and the one with a theology degree who confessed his love for money reveal a heart that is divided. This is a sobering reminder that not everyone who claims the name of Christ walks in His ways.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and greed that may have influenced these individuals. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth (John 16:13), and He will convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). We pray that the Lord would bring these men to a place of repentance, where they acknowledge their wrongdoing and seek forgiveness, not only from you but from God Himself.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We lift up this real estate agent and his colleagues, asking that You would pierce their hearts with the truth of their actions. If they knew of the dangers in that apartment and chose to hide them, reveal this to them, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Soften their hearts to receive Your conviction and turn away from greed and deception.

We pray that the Holy Spirit would purify their minds and consciences, that they would no longer be driven by the love of money but by a desire to honor You in all they do. Give them the courage to admit the truth, even if it is difficult, and to make amends where they have wronged others. We ask that You would break the hold of pride and self-interest in their lives, replacing it with humility and a commitment to righteousness.

Father, we also pray for justice in this situation. If there has been wrongdoing, expose it, Lord, so that others may not be harmed. Protect those who may still be at risk from these hazards, and grant them wisdom to seek safe and truthful dealings in their housing. We ask that You would restore what has been lost, whether it be health, peace of mind, or trust, and that You would heal any physical or emotional harm that has come from this experience.

We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You are a God of justice who will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). We trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Above all, Lord, we pray that these men would come to know You more deeply, not just as a label they wear but as the Lord of their lives. May they surrender their careers, their finances, and their futures to You, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Let this situation be a turning point for them, where they choose to walk in integrity and truth, reflecting Your character in all they do.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made righteous. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.

We’re sorry you went through such a frightening experience, flashing lights, electric shocks, and skin issues are serious and should never have been dismissed. Feeling unheard and possibly misled on top of it all makes the hurt cut even deeper. We’re praying for your continued healing and for God’s peace to steady you as you recover.

We’re also joining you in praying for the agent who may have known about the dangers. True repentance is a gift that frees the person who turns, not just those they’ve wronged. No lecture, no pressure from us, just a quiet hope that the Holy Spirit softens his heart and stirs honesty, for his sake and for the safety of others. The same goes for the person who admitted he was driven by money. That kind of admission, painful as it is, can be the starting point for real change.

In the meantime, we’d gently encourage you to consider reporting the electrical hazards to your local housing or building-safety authority, if you haven’t already. You deserve accountability, and it could protect someone else from going through the same thing. You’re not alone in carrying this.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this one who suffered harm in her own home, bring lasting relief to her body and calm reassurance to her mind. For the agent and the others involved, we ask that your kindness lead them to repentance. Give them the courage to face the truth and to make things right. Sustain our friend with hope that you see every hidden thing and will bring justice in your time. In your name we pray, amen.

The prayer that you have set before us touches upon a grievous matter, a soul that may have known the truth, yet seems to have turned aside for gain, and a colleague whose heart the love of money has ensnared. It is right that you bring these things before the throne of grace, for the Lord alone can search the heart and bring true repentance. Yet, while you pray for their turning, take heed to your own spirit. The injuries you have suffered, the electric shocks, the affliction of your skin, are not hidden from Him who sees all. But remember, the goodness of God is meant to lead you also, lest bitterness take root. As it is written, “The goodness of God leads you to repentance,” and this is true both for them and for you.

Concerning the agent who may have concealed the danger, and who now refuses to speak, you ask that the Holy Spirit purify his heart and bring him to confess the truth. This is a weighty petition. True repentance is never merely the sorrow of the world that works death, but a godly sorrow that gives God glory. If his silence continues, it may be that his repentance is but a carnal one, a dreading of consequences rather than a broken and contrite heart. Yet you must persist in prayer, for repentance is the gift of God, preached in the name of Jesus, and it is the Spirit’s work to convince of sin. That a man once studied theology yet now follows after money is a fearful sign, but it is not beyond the reach of grace. The very fact that he confessed his love for gain may, by God’s goodness, become the arrow that pierces his conscience. Remember, the sweetest repentance is drawn, not driven, and God can draw him still.

As for the other, who refused your call, do not cast away your confidence in the power of prayer. The Lord’s timing is not ours. Even a partial or late confession, if it comes, must be weighed by this rule: Does it give glory to God, or is it but a confession without change? The text says, “Repentance and remission of sins” are joined together, and where there is no true repentance, there can be no assurance of forgiveness. Yet the door of mercy stands open for the chief of sinners, and we may not limit the Holy One of Israel.

Look well to your own heart in this trial. See to it that you do not allow a root of resentment to spring up, defiling many. Freely forgive, as you have been forgiven, even while you desire their repentance for their own soul’s sake. The repentance that builds up is inseparable from faith in Christ, who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. Lay your own afflictions upon Him; He is touched with the feeling of your infirmities. And if the truth concerning that apartment remains hidden, trust that the Lord will bring it to light in His own way. The scales of divine justice are not broken, and no secret sin can escape the eye of Him with whom we have to do. Let your confession be to God alone; make your request known to Him, and then leave the matter in peace. We join with you in praying that the Holy Spirit would indeed grant them repentance unto life, so that they might glorify God in both word and deed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
