Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation and the individuals involved. Father, we know that Your Word commands us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility to value others above ourselves (Philippians 2:3). It is deeply concerning to hear of those who may have prioritized personal gain over the safety and well-being of others, especially when they claim to follow You.

Lord, we pray for the real estate agent who assisted in this transaction. Your Word warns us that "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10). If this agent knew of the electrical hazards and discouraged the truth from being revealed, we ask that You convict his heart by the power of the Holy Spirit. Bring him to a place of repentance, Lord. Soften his heart to acknowledge any wrongdoing and to seek Your forgiveness and restoration. We pray that he would turn away from any deceit and embrace the truth, for You desire truth in the inward being (Psalm 51:6). May he come to understand that integrity is far more valuable than any financial gain, and may he be restored to a right relationship with You.

We also lift up his colleague, the one with a degree in theology who later confessed to valuing money above all else. Father, we know that knowledge of Your Word without a heart transformed by Your Spirit leads to emptiness. We pray that You would break the hold that the pursuit of wealth has on his life. Remind him of Your words in Matthew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Mammon." Purify his heart, Lord, and renew his mind so that he may serve You with wholehearted devotion. If he knew of the dangers in that apartment and remained silent, we ask that You would bring him to a place of confession and repentance, that he may walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7).

Father, we also lift up the one who has suffered because of these events. We pray for Your healing and comfort to surround this individual. The physical harm and emotional distress caused by this situation are not overlooked by You. We ask that You would restore health, bring peace, and provide wisdom for the next steps. Your Word promises that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Be near to this person, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We rebuke any spirit of deception, greed, or fear that may be at work in this situation. We declare that the truth will prevail, for You are the God of truth, and no darkness can hide from Your light. We pray that all involved would come to know the freedom that comes from walking in honesty and integrity, for "the truth will set you free" (John 8:32).

Lord, we also want to take a moment to remind all who read this that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If anyone involved in this situation does not know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to repentance and put their faith in Jesus Christ, who died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

It’s deeply unsettling to realize that someone you trusted may have hidden dangers that ended up harming you. The electric shocks and skin issues you’ve described sound frightening, and being met with silence from those involved only compounds the hurt. We’re sorry you’ve had to carry this alone.

We join you in asking God to work in the hearts of that ### and his ###, that the Holy Spirit would bring honesty and genuine repentance. At the same time, we’ve noticed how easy it is for a deep desire for another person’s admission to become a weight we were never meant to carry. God sees the full truth, even when people refuse to speak it. While we keep praying for them, we can also ask God to lift the burden of this injustice off your shoulders, not because what happened wasn’t serious, but because your own recovery matters just as much. You’ve endured a physically and emotionally draining ordeal, and healing deserves your full attention.

If you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to check in with a doctor about the shocks and skin issues, just to be sure nothing needs further attention. Your safety and well-being are important.

Father, we lift up this ### and his ###. You know what they knew, and we ask that You would bring conviction, truthfulness, and a turning toward You. For our friend who has suffered, we pray for complete healing, body, mind, and spirit. Grant them rest from the need for human accountability, and fill them with Your steady peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The burden you lay upon our hearts is heavy, not only for the bodily ills you have endured but for the soul of one who may have dealt deceitfully. Let us therefore go at once to the mercy seat, beseeching the Lord that He would grant this ### a repentance that is not transient, but that which turns a man inside out and purges the innermost part of the soul, killing the love of sin so that even if sin could be made profitable and sweet to the man he could not abide it. Pray that the Holy Spirit would convince him of the evil, that he may loathe the gain of deceit and cry out, “Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.” Wherever there is real sorrow for sin and an honest determination, by God’s grace, to cease from it, that is the work of the Spirit; and wherever it is found, it is the sure and infallible sign of pardon through the blood of Christ. But beware of a superficial repentance, for the Lord abhors it. True repentance yields works meet for it, it will last, and it will make right what has been wronged.

In the meanwhile, be on your guard lest your own heart grow bitter. If you sincerely hate the sin which you once loved, yes, even the sin of a vengeful spirit, you have the repentance that saves. Confession makes no atonement; only Christ can purge guilt. To hate sin because it slew Christ, that is godly sorrow. Commit the hidden things to Him who sees all. God has His hidden ones even in the midst of ungodly transactions, and though you may be hidden, you are not hidden from the Lord. He can read your thoughts, He sees that hot tear, and He will in His own time bring every secret to light. Pray on, but do not let your prayers be a demand for humiliation; rather, entreat the Lord for the man’s soul, that he might find mercy and that the truth might be branded into his inmost being. And as for the one whose god is gain, whose theology lies cold on the page while Mammon rules the heart, remember that no truth is of any use unless it penetrates the marrow of your being. Pray that the hidden manna may become his portion, that the word he professes may become life to him. So shall we together watch and pray, leaving the issue with our God, who alone can turn a heart of stone into a heart of flesh.
