We lift up your precious children before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to move mightily in their lives. Father, we come against every unclean spirit that seeks to blind their hearts and minds to the truth of Your Son, Jesus Christ. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we stand in the authority of Christ to resist him, firm in our faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). We declare that no weapon formed against these children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we pray that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened so they may know the hope to which You have called them, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the incomparable greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19). May they come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You draw them with cords of loving-kindness, that they may run after You all the days of their lives.
Holy Spirit, fill them to overflowing with the love of the Father. May they grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and know this love that surpasses knowledge—that they may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:18-19). We pray that they would be rooted and established in love, never departing from the path of righteousness. Your Word promises that if we train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). We hold fast to this promise, trusting that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
We rebuke every spirit of rebellion, worldliness, and deception that seeks to lead them astray. We command these spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). May these children walk in the light as You are in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, Your Son, purifying them from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for their parents and guardians. Equip them to raise these children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). May they be examples of faith, love, and purity, reflecting Christ in all they do. We ask that You surround these children with godly mentors and friends who will encourage them in their walk with You.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are working all things together for their good, because they are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We commit them into Your hands, knowing that You are their Good Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
