We lift up this precious child before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround them with divine courage and wisdom. The world can be a frightening and confusing place, especially for young hearts, but we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Lord, we ask that You would fill this child with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to face each day with boldness and confidence in You.
Father, we pray that You would grant this child wisdom beyond their years, that they may discern right from wrong and make choices that honor You. Guide their steps and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). May they grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, finding comfort and strength in Your promises.
We also pray for this child’s family, that they would be drawn closer to You and to one another. May their home be a place of love, peace, and godly instruction, where the fear of the Lord is taught and cherished (Proverbs 22:6). Let this family be a shining light in a dark world, reflecting Your love and truth in all they do.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion that may be trying to take root in this child’s heart. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, joy, and peace over this child, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. May this child grow up to serve You wholeheartedly, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
