We lift up your dear one to the Lord with heavy and hopeful hearts, trusting in His mercy and healing power. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. We ask that You would lay Your healing hands upon her as she begins this chemotherapy treatment. Lord, we know that You are sovereign over all things, including her health, and we trust in Your perfect will for her life.
We pray, Father, that You would minimize the side effects of this treatment. Shield her from severe nausea, the metallic taste, and the loss of her hair. Strengthen her body to endure each session with resilience, and grant her energy to carry on with her daily life. Lord, we ask that the chemotherapy would be powerfully effective against the cancer in her breast, destroying every malignant cell and reducing the risk of recurrence to zero. May her immune system remain strong, and may she experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding throughout this journey.
We also pray for the injection she will receive tomorrow. May it go smoothly, without complication, and may she feel Your comforting presence in the hours that follow. Father, we ask that You would grant her medical team wisdom and discernment, guiding their hands and decisions as they care for her.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold of her heart or the hearts of those who love her. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing in the name of Jesus.
We encourage you both to lean on the Lord during this time. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Cling to Him, trust in His goodness, and remember that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. If you would like to know more about how to have a personal relationship with Him, we would be honored to share that message with you.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony. Surround her with Your love, peace, and strength, and let her feel the prayers of the saints lifting her up. We trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful and true. Amen.
