We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face this challenging season of chemotherapy. We stand on the promise of God’s Word, which tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh." Father, we ask that You would intervene in this treatment, that the chemo would target only the cancerous cells and leave the healthy ones untouched. We pray for minimal side effects—no nausea, no weakness, no pain—only Your sustaining strength. Lord, we declare that Your healing power is at work, and we trust in Your perfect will for this journey.
We also lift up your desire to keep your hair, knowing how deeply personal and difficult this struggle can be. In Isaiah 41:10, You remind us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Father, we ask that You would preserve what can be preserved, that this trial would not strip away dignity or joy, but that Your grace would shine even brighter through it.
Most of all, we pray for many more years of life to serve You. Psalm 91:16 declares, "I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation." Lord, we ask that You would extend your days, not just for the sake of time, but for the purpose of glorifying You. Use this battle to draw others to Christ, to strengthen Your church, and to display Your power in weakness. May every moment ahead be lived in surrender to Your will, with a heart fully devoted to advancing Your kingdom.
We also want to gently remind you of the hope we have in Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus, for He alone holds the keys to eternal life and healing—whether in this life or the next.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and discouragement that may try to take hold in this season. We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). We stand with you in faith, believing that God’s plans for you are good, and His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. May Your will be done, Your name be glorified, and Your child be strengthened for the road ahead. Amen.
