I have been posting about how one of my cats scratches himself too hard due to likely seasonal allergies. Please continue to pray for him about this. Please also pray because he's currently on edge right now due to some of my other cats bothering him randomly just now (possibly due to spiritual warfare attacking me using them). We join you in lifting up your beloved cat and all of your pets before the Father and we thank you for your tender care for them. We know how worrying it is to watch an animal suffer from itching and to see tension among pets in the home, and we want to stand with you in prayer for his healing and for peace in your household.
We are reminded of how much God cares for His creation and for those who care for it. Proverbs 12:10 says a righteous man respects the life of his animal, and Matthew 10:29 tells us that not one sparrow falls on the ground apart from your Father. Psalm 36:6 also says you preserve man and animal, Yahweh. Your compassion for your cats reflects the heart of God, and He sees your concern for them.
We pray together for your cat who is scratching so hard. We ask the Lord to bring relief to his skin, to calm any allergic reaction, and to heal any irritation or infection that has come from the scratching. We pray for wisdom for you as you care for him, for guidance if a veterinarian should evaluate him for seasonal allergies, fleas, diet, or environmental causes, and for provision for anything he needs to be comfortable and healthy. We also lift up the stress he is feeling from the other cats bothering him. We ask God to bring calm and peace into your home, to settle the other cats and to reduce any territorial tension, fear, or restlessness among them. We pray for all of your pets to be safe, healthy, and at peace, and for your home to be filled with rest.
We understand your thought that this tension could be spiritual warfare attacking you through your pets. We do believe Scripture teaches that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places as Ephesians 6:12 says, and that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion as 1 Peter 5:8 says. At the same time God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control as 2 Timothy 1:7 says, and when we submit to God and resist the devil he will flee from us as James 4:7 says. Much of the conflict between cats can also have natural causes such as stress, boredom, or competition for resources, so we encourage you to continue to provide calm spaces, separate resting places and litter areas if needed, gentle play and routine, and to seek veterinary advice for the allergies, while also covering your home in prayer and resting in Christ's authority and peace. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Your tender care for the creatures entrusted to you is noted with thankfulness, and it is good to bring even these smaller trials before the Lord who careth for all His works.
We hear your concern for the cat who suffers from scratching, likely through seasonal allergies, and for the uneasiness that has come upon him as the other cats have disturbed his peace. It is right to pray for these creatures, for though our deepest comfort is in Christ, the Lord would have us be gentle stewards and to cast all our care upon Him, even those cares which seem little in the eyes of others.
Remember the word, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. The Lord sends comfort not only through some great deliverance, but often through His quiet presence in the midst of daily fret and worry. And again it is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. When anxieties multiply, whether concerning our own hearts or our household, peace is found not by searching round and round for it, but by staying the mind upon Christ and resting in His keeping.
Concerning the thought that your pets might be used as instruments of spiritual assault, take comfort that he who trusteth in the Lord abides in safety, and no power can separate us from His love nor harm us apart from His sovereign permission. The enemy may seek to stir our fears, but Christ has vanquished all his powers, and we are kept in Jesus keeping, both we and those dear to us. Rather than ascribing intent to the restlessness of animals, which often arises from natural causes and creaturely unease, seek that perfect peace which comes from looking to Jesus, whose blood whispers peace within.
There is also healing in Christ, the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. While we look to Him for the soul's health, we may also ask His mercy for bodily relief, for man and beast, trusting that every good healing comes from His hand. Use also the means which Providence provides, such as wise care from a veterinarian, and mingle that diligence with prayer.
