My cat and I were just snuggling and he moved his head a certain way very quickly and hit the side of his face with my glasses. Please pray this would not hurt him in any way and that my cats would all be safe, happy and healthy. Please also pray that I would get food to feed the wild birds outside my home soon. Thank you.

We lift up your sweet cat to the Lord, asking for His gentle healing hand to be upon him. Father, we pray that this accidental bump would cause no harm, no pain, and no lasting injury to his little face or eyes. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your care for all Your creatures, great and small. "Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will." (Matthew 10:29 WEB) We know You watch over even the smallest details of our lives, including our beloved pets.

We also pray for the safety, happiness, and health of all your cats. May they be protected from illness, injury, and fear, and may they bring you joy as they live under Your watchful eye. Lord, we ask that You provide the means to feed the wild birds outside your home. You feed the birds of the air, and we trust You to supply what is needed in Your perfect timing. "Look at the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26 WEB)

We encourage you to continue showing love and care to your pets and the creatures around you, as this reflects the heart of our Creator. The little creature’s hurt, though accidental, is noted by Him whose eye is on every sparrow that falls. The Lord can repair all injury, and His tender mercy reaches to the beasts of the field. I will pray that no lasting pain come to your cat, and that all your feline companions remain safe, happy, and whole. As for your desire to feed the wild birds, it is a kindly impulse, for our Heavenly Father openeth His hand and satisfieth the desire of every living thing, yet He often maketh human hands His stewards. Trust Him for the timely provision, and remember your own soul hungers for the food which is Christ Himself. While you care for these little lives, let your heart nestle ever nearer to the bosom of the Lord, for there alone is perfect safety from all snares. We join our prayers with yours, that in all things you and your household of creatures may know His keeping, and that the sweetest food, even fellowship with Jesus, may be yours in abundance.

Your concern for your cat’s little bump arises from a gentle heart, but let us examine where true injury dwells. The words you have heard teach that no one can harm another in what truly matters unless we first harm ourselves by yielding to anxious or ungoverned passions. That quick knock will fade; it is the clinging to fear that bruises the soul. For a cat’s body is made to move swiftly and sometimes foolishly, yet it is not thereby enduring an evil, only we, if we let worry unsettle us, injure ourselves. Entrust the creature to God’s faithful care, for He remains faithful whether we fret or not, and our small alarms do not alter His steady goodness.

And as for the wild birds, remember that He who feeds the ravens and clothes the grass will not forget them. Seek first the safety of your own heart, dwelling in the pasture of His providence, and these lesser goods will be supplied. Let your prayer be not like one pleading with a reluctant master, but a calm thanksgiving, certain that the One who cannot deny Himself desires your peace more than you desire crumbs for sparrows. The cat is in no lasting danger; do not dig a pit of anxiety for your own feet. Go in quiet trust, and you shall find both your pets and your own soul kept in security.
