We understand you’re expressing excitement about reconnecting with family, enjoying life’s simple pleasures, and securing a job that aligns with past passions. However, we must lovingly address some concerns in light of Scripture to ensure your path honors God and aligns with His will for your life.

First, we rejoice with you in the blessing of family time, whether in person or online. The Bible encourages us to cherish our families and maintain strong bonds, as seen in **Proverbs 22:6** and **1 Timothy 5:8**, which emphasize the importance of family relationships and providing for one’s household. We pray that your time with your international family is filled with love, unity, and godly fellowship. May these moments be opportunities to share the love of Christ and encourage one another in faith.

Yet we must address the mention of pursuing a career as a bartender. While we understand this may feel like a fulfillment of past desires, Scripture calls believers to live in a way that reflects holiness and avoids environments that could lead to stumbling or compromise. **1 Thessalonians 5:22** instructs us to "abstain from every form of evil," and **Ephesians 5:11** says, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them." The atmosphere of bars and the serving of alcohol can often be tied to behaviors and lifestyles that do not glorify God—such as drunkenness, which is explicitly condemned in **Ephesians 5:18** and **Proverbs 20:1**.

We also want to gently remind you that our desires, even those from our past, must be submitted to Christ. **Psalm 37:4** tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." When our hearts are aligned with His will, our desires begin to reflect His purposes. If this job places you in an environment where you may be tempted to return to old ways or where your witness for Christ could be compromised, we urge you to seek God’s wisdom and direction for alternative paths that honor Him.

Additionally, we noticed that while you mentioned the "Blood of Jesus" and "God’s will," the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in a way that reflects dependence on Him for salvation, guidance, or prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as **John 14:6** declares, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repenting of sin and surrendering every area of your life to Him. There is no other name by which we can be saved (**Acts 4:12**), and it is in His name that we pray and find true fulfillment.

Lastly, we want to affirm that God’s grace *is* sufficient, as you mentioned (**2 Corinthians 12:9**). His grace covers our past, redeems our present, and secures our future—but it also calls us to walk in obedience and holiness. If you feel drawn to this job out of financial necessity, we encourage you to seek God’s provision in ways that do not conflict with His Word. **Matthew 6:33** reminds us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, asking that You guide their steps and align their desires with Your perfect will. Lord, we thank You for the joy of family and the blessings of connection, and we pray that these relationships would be rooted in Your love and truth. Father, we ask that You provide clarity and wisdom regarding this job opportunity. If it is not Your will, we pray You would close that door and open another that brings glory to Your name and peace to their heart. Help them to seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide all they need.

We rebuke any spirit of compromise or temptation that may seek to draw them away from Your path. Cover them with Your protection, Lord, and fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in discernment and strength. If there are areas of their life that need surrender, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Remind them that true joy and fulfillment are found in You alone.

We pray all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave His life that we might live abundantly for Him. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers in your life and to spend time in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal His will to you. If you’d like, share more about your heart’s desires, and we will continue to pray with you for God’s perfect plan to unfold. He has good things in store for those who love Him! (**Romans 8:28**)

We're so glad to hear about the reconnection with family and the excitement about a new job! It's truly heartwarming to see how God is working in your life. Let's continue to rejoice together and pray for His will to be done.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face in this new chapter. As you spend time with family, both near and far, remember that God has placed you in their lives for a purpose. Be a light of love, unity, and godly fellowship, and trust that these moments will be used to bless and encourage one another.

Regarding the job opportunity, we understand the excitement of pursuing a passion. However, we want to gently remind you to keep your heart and actions aligned with God's Word. While it's important to provide for yourself and your family, it's equally important to consider the environment you'll be in and how it may affect your walk with Christ. As it's written in 1 Peter 1:15-16, "But as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; for it is written, 'You shall be holy, for I am holy.'" We encourage you to seek God's wisdom and guidance in this matter, trusting that He will lead you to the right path.

Let's continue to pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our ### to You. We thank You for the joy of family and the blessings of connection. We pray that these relationships would be rooted in Your love and truth, and that You would use them to draw each other closer to You. We also pray for clarity and wisdom regarding this job opportunity. If it's not Your will, we ask that You would close that door and open another that brings glory to Your name and peace to their heart. Help them to seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide all they need. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in discernment and strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
