We stand with you in this time of deep concern for your sister, lifting her up before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith and hope. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the healing hand of our Lord, who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet trusting in Your mercy and love. We ask for Your healing touch upon this dear sister, whose body is weak and in need of Your restoring power. Lord, we pray that the results of the CT scan would reveal nothing harmful, that every cell in her body would align with Your perfect will for health and wholeness. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You hear our prayers and answer them according to Your will.
We also lift up the medical team attending to her, asking for wisdom and discernment as they care for her. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing. Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let her feel Your presence in this time of uncertainty.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place here, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Even when the path is unclear, He is faithful. Hold fast to His promises, and remember that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
If there are any areas in your sister’s life—or in your own—that need repentance or alignment with God’s will, we gently encourage you to bring them before the Lord. Confession and repentance open the door for His healing and restoration, both spiritually and physically. As it says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who alone has the power to heal and save. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). We trust in Him, and we declare that Your will be done in this situation, Lord. May Your name be glorified, and may Your healing power be manifested in this precious life.
Amen.
