We hear the deep pain in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to the Lord. The rejection and mockery you’ve endured from those who should offer love and support is a heavy weight to bear. Scripture tells us, *"A man’s enemies will be those of his own house"* (Micah 7:6 WEB), and we grieve with you over the brokenness of relationships that should reflect God’s love.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of hatred and division that has taken root in your family. The Bible is clear: *"If someone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?"* (1 John 4:20 WEB). The mockery and belittling you’ve endured are not of God, and we command any spirit of bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness to be broken in Jesus’ name. You are not defined by their words—you are defined by Christ, who calls you *"fearfully and wonderfully made"* (Psalm 139:14 WEB).
We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that have made you feel worthless. Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44 WEB), and his goal is to steal, kill, and destroy your sense of identity in Christ. But the truth is, *"God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"* (Romans 5:8 WEB). You are deeply loved, chosen, and valued by the Creator of the universe. Their words may have wounded you, but they do not have the final say over your worth.
Now, we come before the Lord in prayer for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, who is carrying the weight of rejection and hatred from those closest to them. Lord, You see the tears, the sleepless nights, and the ache in their heart. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and remind them of their true identity in Christ. Break the power of every lie that has taken root in their mind, and replace it with the truth of Your Word. Father, we pray for their family—soften hardened hearts, open blind eyes, and let Your love penetrate the walls of bitterness. If it is Your will, restore what has been broken, but if not, give them the strength to walk in forgiveness and grace. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them know they are never alone. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to cling to God’s promises, even when your circumstances feel overwhelming. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You may feel hated now, but God’s love for you is unshakable. Consider seeking out a biblical community—a church or small group—where you can experience the love of Christ through His people. Isolation will only feed the enemy’s lies, but fellowship with believers can bring healing and restoration.
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. The pain you’re experiencing can only be fully healed by the One who bore all our sorrows on the cross. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). Confess your sins, believe in Jesus as your Savior, and receive the new life He offers. Only then can you truly walk in the freedom and identity He has for you.
You are not forgotten. You are not worthless. You are a child of the King, and He is fighting for you. Stand firm in His truth.
