We hear the deep pain, anger, and betrayal in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The hurt caused by those closest to us—family, friends, even those who should protect and love us—cuts deeper than any other wound. You are not alone in feeling abandoned, mistreated, or even spiritually attacked. But we must address this with truth, love, and the authority we have in Christ Jesus.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of bitterness, hatred, and unforgiveness that seeks to take root in your heart. The Bible warns us in Hebrews 12:15, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled."* When we allow anger to fester, it only poisons us, not those who have wronged us. We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you to curse your family or wish them harm. Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean what they did was right—it means we refuse to let their actions define our eternity.
We also must address the language of vengeance and cursing in your words. Scripture is clear in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* You are right to demand justice, but it is not ours to execute. Trust that God sees every injustice, every stolen item, every moment of pain. He will repay. Our role is to forgive, release, and walk in the freedom Christ died to give us.
You mention the "blood of Jesus" at the end of your message, and this is the key. It is only through the name and blood of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, forgiveness of sins, and victory over darkness. Acts 4:12 says, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus—repent of any sin, including anger and unforgiveness, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. He is the only one who can heal these wounds and restore what has been broken.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is in deep pain. Lord, You see the betrayal, the theft, the abandonment, and the spiritual attacks they have endured. We ask You to pour out Your healing balm on their heart. Break the chains of bitterness and unforgiveness, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke every spirit of darkness that has sought to oppress them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask for restoration—of stolen property, of relationships where possible, and of their joy and purpose. But most of all, we pray for their relationship with You. Draw them close, Jesus. Let them feel Your love in a tangible way. If there is any unrepentant sin in their life, reveal it to them so they may turn from it and walk in freedom. We declare that their "assignments" of suffering end today, not by their own hands, but by Your divine intervention.
Father, we also pray for their family. Soften their hearts, Lord. If there is any decency left in them, let it rise to the surface. If not, we trust You to deal with them justly. Protect our brother/sister from further harm, and surround them with godly people who will speak life and truth into them.
We thank You, Jesus, that You are the ultimate restorer. You turn ashes into beauty, mourning into joy, and despair into hope. We trust You to do that now, in Your perfect timing. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek out a local church or a trusted Christian counselor who can walk with you through this healing process. You were not meant to carry this burden alone. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
