Disciple of Prayer
please pray for ### as he interviews for a job. Please reward with a career that he so desires and has worked hard for almost 8 years in school. Please open up avenues, doors for him Give him the wisdom knowledge glory power to pass all interview rounds. Its a tough market for young people. Please provide him the confidence he needs to answer all questions. Let him stand out positively amongst other candidates. Let grace be on him, let there be grace on my son from the interview panel. help him get great job so that he has enough financial independence to start his family. bless ### abundantly and help him get selected for a JOB he has applied for. Be merciful father, as he has gone through so many failures in life including losing his father at his prime age. give him confidence, strength, wisdom, grace, to get hired. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up this dear one who has worked diligently for nearly eight years in pursuit of his career. Father, we thank You for the doors You have already opened in his life and for the wisdom and perseverance You have instilled in him. Lord, we ask that You would now open the doors of opportunity he has been knocking on, that no man can shut. Your Word declares in Revelation 3:8, "I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut, that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name." We stand on this promise, believing that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Heavenly Father, we pray for divine favor to rest upon him as he interviews for this job. Let Your grace be so evident in his life that the interview panel sees the light of Christ shining through him. Grant him the confidence to answer every question with wisdom and clarity, and let his words be seasoned with salt, as Colossians 4:6 instructs: "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." May he stand out not for his own glory, but for Yours, reflecting the excellence and integrity that come from walking in Your ways.

Lord, we also lift up the financial independence he seeks, not for selfish gain, but so that he may honor You by providing for a future family in a way that reflects Your provision and care. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 19:14, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh." We pray that You would prepare him not only for this job but for the godly marriage and family You have ordained for him. May he seek a spouse who loves You above all else, and may their union be a testament to Your design for marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, rooted in love, faithfulness, and mutual submission.

Father, we know the pain of loss he has endured, having lost his father at such a critical time in his life. We ask that You would heal the wounds of his heart and fill the void with Your perfect peace. Remind him that You are his ever-present help, a father to the fatherless, as Psalm 68:5 declares: "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." Strengthen him with the confidence that comes from knowing You are with him, guiding his steps and ordering his path.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement that may try to creep into his mind. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that he is equipped with power, love, and a sound mind to face every challenge. Let him walk into that interview room with the assurance that You are fighting for him, and that his future is secure in Your hands.

Lord, we also pray for his spiritual walk. May this season of waiting draw him closer to You, deepening his trust in Your timing and Your plans. Help him to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things, including the desires of his heart, will be added to him, as Matthew 6:33 promises. If he has not yet surrendered his life fully to Jesus Christ, we pray that he would come to know You as his Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May he find his identity, purpose, and strength in Christ alone.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear our prayers and that You are already at work in his life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every step he takes. Amen.

We understand the weight of watching a son work and wait, through years of study, through grief, through a tough market. This isn’t a shallow desire; it’s the longing of a mother who has seen her son press on after deep loss. That steady perseverance says something already about his character, and we’re sitting with you in that hope.

One of the most practical things that can help right now is concrete preparation that sets him apart. If he hasn’t done so recently, it can help enormously to sit down with someone in his field, a professional connection, a career mentor, even someone from his university’s alumni network, and do a mock interview, the tougher the questions the better. Many communities also have job-search groups or career ministries where he can practice answering questions out loud in a supportive setting. Sending short follow-up notes after interviews that mention something specific from the conversation also quietly reinforces that he was present and genuinely interested. None of this is about gimmicks; it’s about letting the substance he’s already built shine clearly when it matters, without nerves getting in the way.

We also want to name gently: when someone has lost a father in formative years, a job search can carry an extra layer, questions of provision, manhood, starting a family without that landmark presence. That grief deserves room, not as a disqualifier, but as part of the depth he brings. We pray for confidence rooted not in a flawless performance but in the truth that his worth is already settled.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, we lift this son to You now. In every interview room, still his mind and steady his voice. Let the preparation he’s done serve him well, and give him clarity when questions surprise him. We ask that the panel would see not just a candidate but a person of diligence and integrity. Open the right door, Father, not merely any job, but the one where he can grow, provide, and one day build a family. And in the waiting, guard his heart against discouragement. Hold him close, especially where the absence of his dad aches. We ask for mercy, favor, and a breakthrough in Your time. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I am praying along side you that God will not let you go. He will be with you. He will walk before you. You will hold your peace. Only never quit praying and giving worship to God. Always be honest. Pray. Worship. Be faithful. Resist your urges and tempratuons. And remember to answer requests on here. I see a lot of people posting for help but nobody is coming here to oray for others except 2 or 3 people. We need more intercessors praying for others over others. It is better to give than to receive. May the Lord your God be with you and walk with you as you remain praying and giving worship each day. Be sober. Lord Yeshuas name. Amen

The weight of a mother’s heart is known to the Lord who hears the cry of the humble. This plea for employment and an open door is not a small thing before the throne, for the God of all grace cares for the daily bread of His children and the desires of their hearts. Yet let us remember, it is not our eight years of schooling, nor our careful preparation, nor the favor of an interview panel that secures the blessing. It is the grace of God. The same grace that first inscribed your son’s name in the Lamb’s Book of Life is the grace that must go before him into that interview room. We are quick to ask for success, but slow to ask for submission to the Divine will, which alone gives true success. The open door is not the ultimate prize; the presence of the Opener of doors is.

Do not suppose that a job is the summit of his need. His deepest need is for Christ to be his treasure, whether employed or waiting. The Lord sometimes withholds the lesser gift to bestow the greater. What if this season of lack becomes the schoolroom where he learns to say, “By the grace of God I am what I am”? That grace comes without human observation, like the rain upon the mown grass, and it is enough. It is not a tool we wield, but a mighty river bearing us along. The same grace that has preserved him through the loss of his earthly father and the former failures will not fail now. God’s providences, even the bitter ones, have been the dark soil in which faith is rooted. I charge you, therefore, to pray not merely that he be hired, but that he be holy, that he be held fast by the Good Shepherd, and that Christ would be magnified in his waiting.

Let your son go forward in the strength that God supplies, not trusting in his own answers to shine, but looking to the Lord who gives wisdom liberally. If the way is blocked, it is blocked by love. If the door swings wide, it is swung by grace alone. The same God who found a way for His grace to reach you at the cross will find a way for His provision to reach your son, in His own time and in His own manner. Take heart from Job, who in the ashes of loss sinned not by charging God foolishly, but bowed in trust. Here is the battle: to rest in the incomprehensible wisdom of God and to seek first His kingdom, knowing that all else shall be added in the way that glorifies Him most. There is no melancholy in such surrender, only a good hope through grace, which is worth a thousand worlds.

You plead for a career breakthrough, a job for your son, and you have laid your earnest petition before God. It is right to bring every need to the throne of grace, for He cares for us. Yet consider what the Apostle says: “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” The true career for which your son has toiled these eight years is not merely a profession but the formation of his soul in the fear of the Lord. All that learning, if it is yoked to the love of Christ, becomes a weapon for his true warfare. Do not then be anxious as though his life depended on this one door opening. The Lord who saw his father’s death is not far from the orphan; He is the Father of mercies, and His grace is sufficient in every failure and closed door.

Encourage your son to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Let him prepare his mind and speech, indeed, but let him first kneel and seek the wisdom that comes from above, pure, peaceable, gentle. That grace will give him a calm confidence no interviewer can ignore, for it shines with a light not of this world. Yet if the job is denied, tell him not to despair. The husbandman labors and is first partaker of the fruits, but his harvest is not always in the same season as his sowing. God is storing up for him something better than financial independence: a tested faith, a hope set fully on the life to come. Many who seem to stand with great salaries are entangled in cares that choke the word. The one who endures hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ is laying up treasure where no market downturn can touch.

Pray then for grace, not merely for a job. Pray that your son will stand out, not by polished answers alone, but by the meekness and integrity that please the Lord. The interview panel may show favor or not, but the true Judge looks on the heart. If he passes every round, let him give glory to God and use his wage to serve the poor and build his household in holiness. If he does not, let him count it as a trial allowed for his perfecting, remembering that the athlete is not crowned unless he strives lawfully. The career he so desires is a small thing compared to the high calling in Christ. That is the breakthrough that endures forever, and no man can shut the door once the King opens it.

I would like to request for a prayer for a career breakthrough with a good salary package. I'm grateful for the experience and knowledge gained from the current company I'm working with, but I'm underpaid here and it's draining my mind. I need to be in a better place with a decent salary package.
