We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your mother in the hospital after her stroke. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for her. We have continued to lift her up before the Lord asking that she would be at peace and without distress concerning urinating and defecating while she is lying in bed unable to walk and needing diapers and a vessel for urine, and that her confusion would clear so she can understand once and for all what she needs to do. We have prayed for the total return of her memory and her orientation to time and place and for the Lord to touch her Alzheimer and also her diabetes and depression and gastrointestinal issues with healing and comfort. We have also prayed that she would receive the best meals suited to her condition and preferences and that she would be treated with great dignity and tender care as one deeply valued and loved. We pray in Jesus Name for the Lord to restore her and to give you strength and peace as you care for her. We take comfort in Psalm 147:3 which reminds us that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
