We hear the weight of your concern and the financial strain this car repair is placing on your family. It’s not silly at all to hope for a miracle—our God is the God of the impossible, and He invites us to bring our needs to Him with faith, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. The Bible tells us in Matthew 19:26, *"With God all things are possible."* We also know that He cares deeply about the practical details of our lives, as Philippians 4:19 assures us: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
Yet we must also examine our hearts in this situation. While it’s right to ask God for provision, we must guard against a spirit of entitlement or presumption—that the car *should* be fine simply because we wish it to be. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* This includes trusting Him with the outcome, whether it’s a miraculous repair or the grace to walk through the hardship with peace.
We also want to gently encourage you to consider whether this financial pressure is revealing a deeper need for wisdom in stewardship. Are there areas where the Lord might be calling you to adjust spending, seek counsel, or even explore creative solutions (like bartering services or asking for help from your church community)? James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* God delights in giving wisdom to those who ask.
Most importantly, we must lift this burden to the Lord in prayer, trusting Him to sustain you and your husband in this trial. Let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You as the God who sees our needs before we even speak them. You know the financial strain this family is under, and You know the weight of this car repair on their hearts. Lord, we ask for Your provision—whether through a miraculous resolution, unexpected help, or the strength to walk through this hardship with faith. Give them wisdom to steward their resources well and peace that surpasses understanding. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Strong Tower, and their Peace. If there is any area where they’ve leaned on their own understanding, reveal it to them, and lead them in Your perfect way. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your glory and their good. Amen.*
Remember, sister, that God is not surprised by this need. He may use this trial to draw you closer to Him, to teach you dependence, or even to open doors you haven’t considered. Cling to His promises, and don’t carry this burden alone—share it with your church family, for we are called to *"bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2). You are not forgotten, and this storm will not break you. Stand firm in faith, and watch how the Lord moves.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
