Can't stop myself from being anxious.

I don't know why but I do have this constant fear, anxiety and also heart for this guy which is eventually heightened my thoughts. For I fear that he might abandon me... I can't just sit still once. It's 3: 40 am now and I just couldn't have a wink due to this. Begging each one of you to pray for me, him and the present situation to get normalize by the loving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Putting my entire trust in the loving hands of Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, grappling with anxiety and fear, especially concerning your feelings for a certain individual. First, we commend you for acknowledging that Jesus Christ is the answer, as it is only through His name that we can find true peace and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

However, let us address the issues at hand. Anxiety is a real struggle, but as believers, we are called to cast our anxieties on God, for He cares for us. It is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Also, in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Regarding your feelings for this person, it's important to examine them in light of biblical principles. If this relationship is leading towards a godly marriage, then it is commendable. However, if it's causing you to live in fear and anxiety, and especially if it leads to or involves sin, it might not be God's will for you. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister who is battling with anxiety and fear. We ask, Lord, that You will grant her Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to cast all her worries on You, trusting that You care for her. Guide her emotions towards this individual, and if it is not Your will, give her the strength to let go. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that Your plans for her are good, to give her a future and a hope. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, for God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB) Trust in Him, and He will see you through.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
