Hello. I have an update and prayer request please re my mother's (###)health.

The cancer as shown by a recent PET scan reveals it has spread to the spine, pelvis and lymph node. Originally in the bladder and kidney.

Conventional treatment is not an option due to the side effects and her age.

Not a report we expected and of course difficult to accept.

Healing is obviously our desire but if the Lord's will determines otherwise then we pray for peace, trust and acceptance. And minimal pain for her.

Finances are also a major concern as she was left with literally nothing when my father passed. And as caregiver I cannot work full time.

We have heard your heartbreaking update about your mother's health and we are standing with you in prayer together before our Father in Jesus' name. To hear that the cancer has spread from the bladder and kidney to the spine, pelvis and lymph node is a heavy report to carry, and we grieve with you while we also lift our eyes to the One who holds her days in His hands.

We thank you for your honest faith in saying that healing is your desire, yet you submit to the Lord's will and ask for peace, trust, acceptance and minimal pain for her. That posture honors God in the midst of suffering. We join you in praying for a miraculous touch if it is His will, and for His perfect peace and comfort to guard you both whatever the outcome. We are reminded that Yahweh is the One who heals, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3, and also that He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Even as we pray for healing, we cling to His nearness in this valley, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18, and to His promise Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We also hear your burden as a caregiver and the very real financial pressure you carry since your father passed and you are unable to work full time. The Lord sees this need and He cares for both of you. We pray for His provision day by day and for wisdom for every practical decision regarding comfort care and pain management now that conventional treatment is not an option due to her age and the side effects. We pray the Lord will open doors for help through His people, community resources, and unexpected provision, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Do not be anxious about these things, but In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Jesus also invites you Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28, and we pray that rest for your soul as you pour yourself out in caregiving.

You spoke of the Lord's will, and we want to gently encourage you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears our prayers. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by placing our trust in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we can come boldly before God and know His peace even in the hardest reports. We encourage you to keep calling upon the name of Jesus for your mother and for yourself.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ for this dear mother and for her child who loves and cares for her. Lord, You know the cancer in her body, every place it has spread, and the pain and weakness it brings. We ask for Your healing mercy upon her if it is Your will, and we ask for Your hand to restrain pain and to grant her comfort, dignity and peace in the days You have ordained for her. Give wisdom to those caring for her, provide for every financial need, and strengthen this caregiver with supernatural endurance, rest and encouragement. Let Your peace that surpasses understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Draw them both close to You, and let them feel Your presence as near and faithful. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, trusting Your goodness and Your perfect will. Amen.

We will continue to hold you both before the Lord. Please keep us updated as you are able, and know that we are praying for minimal pain for your mother, for deep peace and trust for you both, and for the Lord's provision in every area.

Alongside prayer, it is worth asking her clinic if they have a social worker or patient navigator who knows local resources for financial assistance, caregiver support, and practical help at home. Sometimes your local church family can also quietly come alongside with meals, rides, or benevolence help if you let them know the need.

Father, we lift this mother and her child to You in Jesus' name. You see her body and the spread of this cancer, and You see the financial worries and weariness of caregiving. We ask for Your gentle presence with her, for rest, for pain to be eased, and for Your peace to guard them both. Hello friend. Much compassion to you and your mother. I pray for divine healing, restoration, peace of mind, resolution, solution. I pray for a miracle on her behalf and the simple things like comfort and ease as she faces this. Whatever Gods will for your beloved mother, I pray ultimately for peace and goodness over her. Your sorrowful update concerning your mother has been received with much tenderness and earnest prayer before the Lord. We have brought her, and you who care for her, before the throne of grace, and we do not cease to remember you both.

There is a word which has been a great comfort to many in such an hour as this, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is that perfect peace of which we sing, Peace, perfect peace, in this dark world of sin, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. It is a present possession, to be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, even when death is shadowing us and ours, for Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers. Bear your sorrow with Him, keep your mind stayed upon Him, and that peace which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We pray that this peace may be yours and your mother's portion day by day, that you may know trust and acceptance in the will of Him who does all things well, and that fear may give place to rest in His unfailing wisdom.

We pray also for healing as the Lord wills. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and teaches us that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and His great work is not only to point out our disease but to apply the remedy, for with His stripes we are healed. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, He brings forgiveness and peace to the soul. We ask the Lord, if it be His gracious will, to lay His healing hand upon your mother and to grant relief from pain, and above all to give that inward healing which flows from being justified by faith, which is peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. If it be not His will to restore bodily strength, we pray that He will grant minimal pain, and that inward peace which steals over the soul when it trusts the pardoning hand of the Saviour. It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul.

We have also heard your burden concerning provision and your labour as caregiver. The Lord knows your need and your weariness when thronging duties press. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. You are not left in the power of the enemy, and you are not forgotten. He who is a wall of fire round about His people has promised that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are the called according to His purpose. Everything is arranged for the benefit of His children, and He is able to make provision where there seems to be none. We pray that He will open doors of help, sustain you in your calling, and supply what is needed for each day.

Let us pray together. O gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation and acceptance, we commend this dear mother to Thy tender mercy. Look upon her in her affliction, and grant according to Thy perfect will, healing if it please Thee, and at all times pardon, peace, and the whisper of the blood of Jesus within. Keep her mind stayed on Thee and keep her in perfect peace. Mitigate her pain, give her rest by night and by day, and let Thy presence be her comfort. Remember also her child who watches and cares, grant strength for each duty, trust without wavering, and daily bread from Thy generous hand. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy peace rule in both hearts until Thou callest to Heaven's perfect peace. We ask this for Jesus sake. Amen.
