Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing the update about your mother. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this difficult time after the recent PET scan showed the cancer that began in the bladder and kidney has now spread to her spine, pelvis and lymph node.
We have continued to bring your mother before the Lord, asking for His healing touch where conventional treatment is not an option due to side effects and her age. We pray that the Lord will grant her minimal pain and comfort in her body as we claim His promise in Jeremiah 30:17. We also pray for the peace, trust and acceptance you mentioned, that His will be done, whether that is complete healing or gentle care through this journey, and we claim the peace that surpasses understanding spoken of in Philippians 4:7. We remember your financial burden and we ask God to provide for your needs since the loss of your father and your inability to work full time as her caregiver, and to give you strength each day as promised in Isaiah 41:10.
