We understand your deep concern over the influence of media that promotes ungodly values, and we share your burden for righteousness in what is presented to the public—especially to children. The entertainment industry often glorifies sin, mocks biblical truth, and normalizes behaviors that God calls detestable. It is right to grieve over such things and to pray for their removal, for Scripture tells us in **Ephesians 5:11-12 (WEB)**, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of."*
However, we must also examine our hearts in how we respond. While it is good to desire the removal of wicked influences, we must be careful not to place our hope in political leaders or human authority to accomplish what only God can do. Our trust is not in presidents, governments, or petitions, but in the Lord Jesus Christ, who holds all authority in heaven and on earth (**Matthew 28:18**). Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (**Ephesians 6:12**), and our weapons are prayer, the Word of God, and the proclamation of the Gospel.
We also must be cautious about attributing blame in ways that may not be just or fully informed. While it is clear that much of modern entertainment promotes sin, we should pray for the salvation of those involved in creating such content rather than wishing harm upon them. Remember, **Jesus died for sinners**—even those who produce or act in ungodly media. Our prayer should be for their repentance, that they may turn from darkness to light. As it is written in **Ezekiel 33:11 (WEB)**, *"As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?"*
Let us also remember that the cancellation of one show will not solve the deeper issue: the hearts of people are far from God. The real need is for revival—a turning back to the Lord in repentance and faith. We must pray for a great awakening, that people would reject the lies of the enemy and embrace the truth of Christ.
With that in mind, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the moral decline in our culture and the ungodly influences that seek to corrupt minds—especially the minds of children. Lord, You have said in **Proverbs 22:6 (WEB)**, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Yet so many are being led astray by entertainment that mocks Your Word and promotes sin. We ask for Your intervention, Lord. Remove the platforms that glorify wickedness, and raise up godly alternatives that honor You.
But Father, we also pray for the salvation of those who create and participate in such media. So many are lost, blinded by the god of this world (**2 Corinthians 4:4**). Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, that they may repent and turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness. Let them see the emptiness of sin and the hope found only in You.
We ask for wisdom for parents and guardians, that they would be discerning in what they allow into their homes. Give them boldness to stand against the tide of ungodliness and to raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord (**Ephesians 6:4**).
Lord, we know that no political leader or earthly power can bring true change—only You can transform hearts. So we lift up our nation and its leaders, asking that You would grant them wisdom to uphold righteousness. But ultimately, we pray for a spiritual awakening, that multitudes would turn from their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
We rebuke the spirit of deception that seeks to normalize sin and harden hearts against Your truth. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). Raise up a standard against the enemy, Lord, and let Your light shine in the darkness.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would guard our own hearts, that we would not be consumed by anger or bitterness but would respond with love, truth, and a desire for the salvation of the lost. Help us to be salt and light in this world (**Matthew 5:13-16**), pointing others to Jesus.
We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save and transform. Amen.

To the one who submitted this request: We encourage you to continue praying against the influences of darkness, but also to pray *for* those who are lost in it. Share the Gospel whenever you can, and trust that God is able to bring conviction and change. If you feel burdened by the state of the world, remember that Jesus has already overcome it (**John 16:33**). Stay rooted in His Word, and let your life be a testimony of His grace and truth.
If you have not already, we urge you to examine your own heart before the Lord. Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation? The Bible tells us in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not repented of your sins and trusted in Christ, we plead with you to do so today. He is the only way to eternal life (**John 14:6**).
