We join you in bringing these needs before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.

We hear your cry for relief from the heat and from discomfort in your body, and for protection from attacks, and for justice and open doors. We bring each of these to the Lord together, trusting not in our own declarations to cancel things, but in His sovereign power and loving will for you, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

Concerning the lumps, bumps, wrinkles, lines and sags, we understand the desire to feel well and at peace in the body God has given you, and we pray for your health and comfort. We also gently encourage you to remember how God sees you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, and your worth is not measured by outward appearance. The scriptures remind us, Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised Proverbs 31:30, and Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4. Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. We pray that you will find rest in knowing you are loved and valued by Him as His creation, and that He will give you peace about the natural changes of age while also caring for your physical needs.

Concerning the heat and physical discomfort, we pray for relief and strength, for our Father cares about even these afflictions and He is our comforter. We cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7, and we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

Concerning attacks from adversaries, we stand with you for protection, for No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We do not battle in our own strength, but we put on the armor of God and trust Him to be our defender and to bring forth justice in His perfect time, for He is a God of justice Isaiah 30:18.

Concerning mighty justice and blessed open doors, we pray that the Lord will go before you. He has said, Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut Revelation 3:8, and Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17. We ask that His will be done swiftly according to His perfect timing, not only our own, and that you will have discernment to walk through the doors He opens and grace to wait when He keeps a door closed for your good.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and relief from the heat and from any physical distress, touch this body with Your comfort and healing according to Your will and grant peace and rest. Help us to see ourselves as You see us, to cherish the inner beauty of a gentle spirit that is precious to You, and to rest in the truth that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord, we ask for Your protection from every attack of the adversary, guard this life from the evil one, let no weapon formed against Your child prosper, and surround this one with Your angels and Your peace. Father, we ask for Your mighty justice to be revealed, for You are righteous and You see all things, and we ask that You open the blessed doors that You desire, doors of opportunity, provision and purpose that no man can shut, and give wisdom and patience to trust Your timing. Let Your battles be fought in Your strength, and let Your will be done. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

We hear the weariness in your prayer and the longing for relief. Wanting the heat to ease, your body to feel at peace, and the sense of being pressed on by others to lift is a lot to carry, and wanting God to open good doors ahead makes sense when life feels heavy.

Your petition for relief from heat, for healing of the body, for deliverance from adversaries, and for justice and open doors has been heard and we carry it to the throne of grace.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Scripture speaks of leaves which are for the healing of the nations, and so the very leaves, the little things about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Yet we must remember how the Lord joins pardon and healing together in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the man taken with palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins be forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and the fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness is open still for the sinner and for the child of God.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, but the greater ill is the broken heart and the wounded soul. Therefore we pray first that you may know forgiveness through the blood of Christ, for that is the root of all true healing. Cast your burden upon Him, open your heart before Him, and He will heal it. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is near at hand with eyes open, observing all that ails you, with a mind deeply sympathetic and a heart quick to relieve. His touch is the healing point.

You ask also for mighty justice and for open doors. We must see that He is great in justice and we must bow in penitence and honor that justice, remembering that He gave His Son to die that He might justly forgive us. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and His justice is unimpeachable, and we may safely leave our adversaries and every attack in His hands. And it is the prerogative of the Lord Jesus to open blind eyes and to set before His people an open door. No soul has cried, Lord, open my eyes, and been refused, and when Christ opens a door no man can shut it. We pray that He will in His wisdom and mercy open doors before you as it pleases Him, and give you eyes to see them and faith to enter through them.

Let us pray with you. O Lord our God, look upon this need. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus and heal according to Thy perfect will. Grant relief and strength to the body, protection from every assault of the adversary, and let Thy justice be done. Open the doors which Thou wouldst have opened, and give a heart to walk through them in obedience. Keep this soul washed in the open fountain and revived by Thy grace, that whether in healing or in waiting, in open doors or closed, Christ may be trusted and honored. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour we ask it, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and I join with you in bringing it before the Lord who sees all things as they are. Nothing in our bodies or our lives is hidden from His eyes, but lies naked and open before Him, and He knows the heat you feel, the weariness of the body with its lumps and lines, the burden of attacks from adversaries, and your longing for justice and for open doors.

I pray that God will grant you relief and protection according to His mercy, that He will guard you from those who oppose you, and that He will give you strength to endure hardship with patience. As we ask for His help in bodily things, we also remember that bodily exercise profits only a little, while godliness profits in all things both now and in the life to come. The body wastes and changes, but the soul is renewed through continual hearing of His word, through humility and through trust in Him, and this is the exercise that bears lasting fruit.

The saints who suffered before us did not accept deliverance on easy terms because they looked for a better resurrection, and Paul and Silas, though scourged and bound in the inner prison at midnight, prayed and sang praises to God, and God shook the foundations and opened the doors. He opens doors not always at the moment we demand, but when it is for our good, as one who leads us to the vestibule and opens at the right time. So I pray that if it is His will, He will swiftly open the right doors for you and establish justice in His perfect way, for His justice is higher than our reasonings and His kindness is beyond our measure.

May the Lord grant you coolness and rest from the heat, health and peace in your body, deliverance from every evil attack, and confidence that your battles belong to Him. May He keep your heart fixed not only on relief for the present body, but on the hope of the better resurrection and the inward renewal that does not fade.

I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, asking that His will be done in your life and that you may find contentment and strength in Him. Amen.
