Cancel Unjust debts
We join with you in prayer and we stand on the truth of God's Word with you in this time of weakness and illness and financial burden.
You are right to declare that the devil is a liar and the father of lies as Jesus said in John 8:44, and that his final end is the lake of fire as we see in Revelation 20:10. He has already been defeated at the cross, and we do not need to fear his accusations or his oppression, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We claim with you the promise of Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn, for this is the heritage of Yahweh's servants.
We also hear your cry about unjust debts and we bring this before the Lord who sees all injustice and who is our provider and defender. We pray that God will expose what is unjust and bring justice and relief where you have been burdened by the schemes of enemies. At the same time we remember what Scripture teaches about stewardship and integrity, that the wicked borrow and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously in Psalm 37:21, and that we should owe no one anything except to love one another in Romans 13:8. So we pray for wisdom for you to discern what is truly unjust and what is a legitimate obligation, and to seek godly counsel and even practical and legal counsel where needed, for without consultation plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed in Proverbs 15:22. We pray that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way and that He will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19.
We also lift up your body to the Lord, for you have been very weak and ill. We believe that Jesus is our healer, that He was pierced for our transgressions and by His wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5, and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15. We ask for the Lord's healing touch, for strength renewed day by day, for He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might He increases strength in Isaiah 40:29.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we thank You that we can come boldly to Your throne of grace. We lift up this dear one to You who is weak and ill, and we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon them, to restore health, to renew strength, to bring rest and peace to body and mind. We rebuke the lies and oppression of the enemy and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper. Lord, You see these debts that feel crushing and unjust, You know the source and the intent behind them, and we ask You to cancel what is unjust, to bring vindication and provision, to open doors for godly help and wise counsel, and to give favor in dealing with creditors and authorities. Provide for every need, grant wisdom to steward what You have given, and guard this heart from fear and discouragement. Let Your peace that passes all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We trust You as our Jehovah Jireh, our healer, our defender and our righteousness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We have heard your cry in weakness and illness and in the burden of what you call unjust debts, and we bring it before the Lord who is both Physician and Judge.
You have spoken truly that the devil is a liar and that his end is the fire that shall never be quenched. Scripture declares that there shall be a resurrection both for the just and the unjust, and the unjust shall find that living in sin is the germ of living forever under judgment, while Christ has overcome the liar and will cast him and all his works into perdition. Therefore we need not fear the enemy when we are sheltered in Christ.
You are very weak and ill, and we very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence. But there is healing in Christ. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick He showed that pardon and healing are one. We pray that as you look to Him you may find both forgiveness and healing, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people.
We pray also concerning these debts which you say are unjust and laid upon you by your enemies. The tally of our sin debt is destroyed, the record nailed to the Cross, and our sins covered as the depths covered the Egyptians in the Red Sea. For temporal debts and unjust claims, we ask the Lord who loves justice to be your defender. It is written, No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, Isaiah 54:17. May the Lord in His wisdom expose what is false, restrain the hand of the oppressor, provide for your need, and give you counsel and help among His people to deal justly and uprightly with what is before you.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look upon this afflicted one, weak in body and pressed by burdens. Lay Thy hand upon Thy servant and lift up as Thou didst lift Peter's wife's mother from her fever, that healing may come before service and strength may return. Forgive all sin through the blood of Jesus, and let pardon bring healing in its train. In the matter of debts, judge Thou between what is just and unjust, cancel what ought not to stand, and make a way where there seems no way, that Thy child may walk in honesty and peace and be delivered from the snare of the enemy. Keep this soul from the liar's voice, and keep the heart stayed upon Christ who is our healing balm at Calvary. We have heard your cry in this season of weakness and illness and we bring your burden before the Lord with you. You are right to call the devil a liar, for he is defeated and his end is the fire prepared for him, while Christ our Lord has sat down at the right hand of God with His enemies put under His feet.
We pray for you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation, we ask for Your mercy and healing upon this one who is weak and ill. Touch the body with Your restoring hand, give strength where there is weakness, and bring comfort and peace. As the great Physician, You do not turn away from those who are suffering but draw near to heal.
We also bring these unjust debts before Your throne of justice. You see what is unjust and what is true. You hate covetousness and unjust gain, and You desire what is right. If these debts have been laid falsely or unjustly by the schemes of others, we ask You to expose the injustice, to tear apart what is unjust, and to cancel what ought not to stand. Give wisdom to deal rightly with what is truly owed, and provide in Your kindness so that this burden is lifted. Let no weapon formed against Your child prosper, according to Your promise in Isaiah 54 verse 17, and let every tongue that rises in judgment be shown to be in the wrong.
Guard this life from the enemy who accuses and deceives. Let the love and blood of Christ, shed for us while we were yet enemies, be the confidence and protection. Grant faith to rest in Him, patience in affliction, and hope in His victory.
