Call For Fasting 3

Hello every one as we start this fast I felt lead to share some verses on fasting.

Matthew 6: 16-18 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Isiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

Be strong during this fast, the enemy knows how powerful fasting is and will try to stop you by putting thoughts in your head of reasons to stop. Surround yourself in Gods presents with music and reading His word. Speak to God continuously He will answer. There is so much power in fasting it will change you God will give you an encounter with Him. Seek His answers and be sure you pray for others not just your self.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

My excitement of what God is going to do is so high right now. I can't wait to see the testimonies. Be strong and remember we have all authority over the enemy make sure you let the enemy know that you know that.

God bless

We are moving into a season of answers, delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. I feel testimonies are coming.

I consider this a breakthrough:

I met with an attorney yesterday to discuss a divorce case. I prayed God would speak through him. I told him everything that happened - everything I could recall, I showed him every document I had, I gave him all the evidence I could get my hands on. He educated me on our state laws and cases that had identical circumstances. From a legal standpoint, he said I had a good chance of winning civil suits, had the right intentions for repairing my credit, that I was not the at-fault party, that I had an upper hand… But at the end of our meeting, the attorney told me to wait and do nothing. He said he would provide legal advice to me at any time and happily represent me if I changed my mind, but in his "professional opinion" and "if it were him," he recommends I do nothing.

This advice came as both a shock and a relief to me…

A big part of me didn't want any ugly court battles or a certain end to our relationship, but the hurt, proud, and scared part of me wanted to take action first. But, it looks like God is reminding me not to repay evil with more evil. I know that revenge belongs to God, and I am reminded that I should not take matters into my own hands. God told me yesterday to surrender it all to him and be still.

And, these scriptures echo in my head:

  • Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. (Psalm 27:14)
  • Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. (Psalms 37:34)
  • You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near. (James 5:8)
  • "Moses answered the people, 'Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still'.†(Exodus 14:13-14)

You are on the right track Mariposa.

When we give a problem or burden to God to handle, God doesn't intend for us to pick it back up because we feel there is something we can do.

There is something we can do however and its to fully surrender to God and to put our focus on God. If we feel we just have to do something to help matters, then pray and pray some more because we are in a spiritual battle.

This whole ordeal has brought me closer to God than I have ever been in my life and Im learning something new every day (mostly the mistakes I make).

My biggest mistake was letting this separation consume me and I took my focus off God long enough that I thought the ground was giving way underneath me.

Everything you wrote sounded way too familiar and similar to my situation so it hit home but as you said, vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

These affairs with OM/OW are doomed from the get go as it is not in Gods will PERIOD so he is not going to bless it or give his blessings for them to continue. Its a sin anyway you look at it and as the bible says, God doesn't hear the prayers of someone who intends to repeat the sin they are asking forgiveness for. It says even their prayers are an abomination.

The spouse's can harden their hearts and deafen their ears all they want to Gods word and Will, however God will only hold back his punishment long enough for them to repent and if they don't, well I wouldn't want to be in any of their shoes.

Know a lot of us want instant action but if that was the case, we would all be in trouble as God would be striking us down left and right the moment we made a mistake because everyone of us have and will continue making mistakes so praise God for his patience with us.

Loved the scriptures. Reminded me of a message I had listened to the other night from Matthew Hagee. He kept repeating DO NOT GIVE UP, DO NOT GIVE UP, DO NOT GIVE UP

I Keep listening to this song for encouragment

Praise God Mariposa. God certainly stepped in and stopped you from making a huge mistake. He wants you to trust Him and know that He is working. Dont let satan make you think the opposite. He is whispering things in your mind that are making you wonder "what if.." when it comes to God being able to restore your marriage. Dont let doubt enter into your heart, easier said than done i know but please do not let satan have his way with you. Your husband is coming back to you. God is working.

Friends please pray for my husband. Because i can honestly feel that he is getting pulled toward home but he is fighting the urge to come back. Please come into agreement with me today/tonight. I feel like something is about to be released from the spiritual realm. I feel it deep down in my spirit but i dont know what it is. Thank you and God bless you all.

I am praying for that right now Alli God is faithful your husband is closer than you think, trust in God do not waiver in your faith
