Call For Fasting 3

Hello everyone as we start this fast I felt led to share some verses on fasting.

Matthew 6: 16-18 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Isaiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

Be strong during this fast, the enemy knows how powerful fasting is and will try to stop you by putting thoughts in your head of reasons to stop. Surround yourself in God's presence with music and reading His word. Speak to God continuously He will answer. There is so much power in fasting it will change you God will give you an encounter with Him. Seek His answers and be sure you pray for others not just yourself.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

My excitement of what God is going to do is so high right now. I can't wait to see the testimonies. Be strong and remember we have all authority over the enemy make sure you let the enemy know that you know that.

Had heard about that but Son of God movie but haven't saw it yet. Im a little skeptical when it comes to Hollywood seeing as how they are more worldly in their views than Christian though.

Really loved Passion of the Christ though. By listening to their actual language it made you feel as though you were there however the torture scene of Jesus was very hard to watch.

There is also a movie coming out called Gods not dead next week and next month there is heaven is for real based on a true story of a boy who died and came back and exudos with Christian Bale as Moses look them up God is moving and yes Son of God was awesome. Noah is said to be Hollywood however it is still the story of Noah and my hope is it will get people to read the Bible.

Yeah I definitely want to see all those movies. As I was driving from the theater yesterday I praised God because He has all these movies coming out about Him and His works. We have become so reliant on technology that God decided that since technology is the only thing most of us are into, then that's how He will make Himself known. It's about time. The world needs this. His timing is perfect...as always ;-)

It all makes me wonder.

You know ### did a sermon series not long ago on the coming Four Blood Moons.

Matter of fact the first one starts next month April 15th 2014, then another 10-8-2014,

On 3-20-2015 there will be an eclipse and then 2 more blood moons in 2015. 4-4-2015 and 9-28-2015

It will be a 100 years before there is another series of Blood moons like we are getting ready to see.

A lot of people believe God is trying to get our attention with these blood moons basically saying "Get it together! I'm coming back soon."

Acts 2 17-21

17

17 And it will be in the last days, says God,

that I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity;

then your sons and your daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions,

and your old men will dream dreams.

18 I will even pour out My Spirit

on My male and female slaves in those days,

and they will prophesy.

19 I will display wonders in the heaven above

and signs on the earth below:

blood and fire and a cloud of smoke.

20 The sun will be turned to darkness

and the moon to blood

before the great and remarkable Day of the Lord comes.

21 Then everyone who calls

on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Then a blood moon is spoken of again in Revelation 6:12 which happens when the sixth seal is opened during the tribulation period.

It doesn't take much convincing me that God is coming back soon. One look at the world today will tell you that.

Plus the rate in which divorces are happening is staggering. We are only aware of the ones happening here and around us in our lives but just think for a moment about the rest of the world.

Satan knows that if the family fails, then the church will. He also knows God is coming back soon and his time is drawing to an end.

My preacher made a comment not long ago that if God doesn't come back soon, he will owe Sodom and Gomorrah a big apology.

If I have said anything to any of you here worth remembering, please let it be this.

The Bible speaks of false prophets during the end times. We can see that now with a lot of churches that preach do what feels good to you.

A lot of people go to church to feel good about themselves and to hear about what they are doing good.

You simply cannot take parts out of the Bible that you like to hear and discard the rest.

By doing that, people can make the Bible say what THEY want it to say.

If we are doing that then the Bible tells us Judas Iscariot hung himself and the Bible also says Do ye likewise. See what I mean???

Is that really what the Bible was saying? OF COURSE NOT. When anyone tells me something out of the Bible, I like to go in and read before and after their verse as that will tell you the big picture of what was going on, happening, or about.

SO, in all my rambling what is my point you ask?

My point is don't take to heart as ironclad fact what such and such says or so and so tells you about God and the Bible.

Friend if you want to know what God says, read the Holy Bible for yourself and you can put full trust in what it says from cover to cover.

There are a lot of people singing about a Heaven they are never gonna see. How do I know this?

Matthew 7:13-14

13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. 14 How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.

Matthew 22:14

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

2 Timothy 3

3 But know this: Difficult times will come in the last days. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people!

6 For among them are those who worm their way into households and capture idle women burdened down with sins, led along by a variety of passions, 7 always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so these also resist the truth, men who are corrupt in mind, worthless in regard to the faith. 9 But they will not make further progress, for their lack of understanding will be clear to all, as theirs was also.

10 But you have followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, and endurance, 11 along with the persecutions and sufferings that came to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured! Yet the Lord rescued me from them all. 12 In fact, all those who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13 Evil people and impostors will become worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed. You know those who taught you, 15 and you know that from childhood you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

I want to finally meet each and every one of my brothers and sisters in Christ here on this board in Heaven. So do not let yourselves be deceived by false prophets, doctrine or teachings.

None of us are good with God as the Bible tells us All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But by admitting we are sinners and acknowledging Christ died for our sins and rose again and asking for his forgiveness and REPENTING of those sins, he freely forgives us.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the blood moons and eclipses. You guys don't know this about me but I love astronomy. I star gaze as often as I can. I love seeing meteor showers and shooting stars....I'm one of those people that have a star map LOL. When I'm outside on a clear night....it's just me, God and the stars. So all this talk about the blood moons gets my heart pumping. And Jesus is coming soon!! I can't wait! I want to meet Him and see Him so bad it hurts!!
