Call For Fasting 3

Hello everyone as we start this fast I felt led to share some verses on fasting.

Matthew 6: 16-18 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Isaiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

Be strong during this fast, the enemy knows how powerful fasting is and will try to stop you by putting thoughts in your head of reasons to stop. Surround yourself in God's presence with music and reading His word. Speak to God continuously He will answer. There is so much power in fasting it will change you God will give you an encounter with Him. Seek His answers and be sure you pray for others not just yourself.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

My excitement of what God is going to do is so high right now. I can't wait to see the testimonies. Be strong and remember we have all authority over the enemy make sure you let the enemy know that you know that.

God bless

Like everyone else, this has been an amazing outlet for prayers and support. I have so much love for all of you, and we've never met face to face. It's wonderful how God brings people together in His name!

I completed my fast on Wednesday, but I am hoping and waiting for a breakthrough... I'm praying that I am deserving of it, though I am still carrying many faults.

Instead, I've experienced another disappointment. My husband and I are big social media users (particularly FB - have to use "FB" because this site doesn't allow me to type the full name, and we were FB friends. I had many photo albums shared with our friends and family on my page of the two of us. I noticed on my albums that his name was removed. And when I looked at my contacts list, I realized he had un-friended me, blocked me (so I cannot contact him nor see his activity), and deleted all of our photographs....

Really hurt right now because of all of this.

Mariposa of course he is going to do this, he has guilt and is trying to push everything that pulls him towards you away, however the Holy Spirit is still convicting him and it's proof when he is doing such things. Think about it if it didn't bother him then it shows he doesn't care, but the fact that it bothers him to see pictures of you two together shows he still cares and is trying not to be reminded that he does care. My wife did this from the start so I know how it feels. Rejoice because this is a sign of your husband still caring for you. If you have feelings for someone but don't want them to know you block everything about them from your life so they don't even get a glance at seeing it. I know it looks bad but trust me this is a very good step and soon when he will be contacting you more.

I'm praying for that ###. There is a tug in my heart reminding me that what is TRUTH is not what we see with the human eye and hear with our human ears.

I'm leaning on these scriptures right now:

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5)

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me." (John 14:1)

Mariposa I am so sorry about that. I know it hurts because my husband removed some pictures of us on his -banned site- as well. I actually don't even go on -banned site- anymore. I pretty much gave up on it. It's too much temptation on there to look at what he is doing or saying. So I don't go on there at all.

But very well said Scott. And remember Satan is getting desperate. He wants you to think that God isn't working so he made sure you saw what he conned your husband (and your wife Scott) into doing. That is the main reason I stopped going on -banned site-. Because I knew that I would keep seeing things that my husband was saying or doing that would do nothing but keep hurting me. So I let go of -banned site-. I still have an account but I just don't go on there anymore.

And sometimes there isn't an actual breakthrough in the way you think. Sometimes you just receive revelations. Just continue to pray, fast when you feel you need to, and read the Bible. Look up things that you feel might help you get insight on certain things. For example, I wanted to know how to discern God's voice from my own thoughts. I looked up scriptures on it. I try to do as much studying on things as I can. I absolutely loved reading Isaiah.

Just continue to seek God. Don't go looking on -banned site- for anything, it just tears you apart. Trust me, I know. God is working. Just don't let Satan tempt you into looking at anything just out of curiosity, because he wants you to see something that will shake your faith. It's just another scheme of his.

Isaiah is an amazing book, I have just finished Joshua and now reading Jeremiah I recommend both of those books, well honestly I recommend all the Bible lol. My favorite book thus far however is Psalms, you can see what David was struggling with when he wrote some of them and it helps to compare your life with the Bible.

My favorite pastor is ### as he has always had a way of preaching and teaching the Bible and uplifting and making you laugh at the same time. Consider him a motivational teacher so he has been a long-time favorite of mine.

This video has been a big inspiration to me and hope it will be an inspiration to all of you so please take a little time out of your schedule to watch.

Cornerstone Church

You will first need to sign up with getv.org before watching however it's free and very simple. Getv is ###'s video website.

Under Videos on that site, click on Classic Sermons. Everyone of those videos is a blessing to watch and I urge each and everyone here to watch them.

However, the next informative sermon I recommend is Cornerstone Church

It is a multiple series sermon on the family and each video is God's plan of the family and is a very powerful message inline with our situation.

Are you going through a separation? Watch this sermon series now.

Are you just visiting this blog and all seems well in your marriage and family? Then stop what you are doing, grab your spouse and your kids and sit them down and watch this sermon series now before doing anything else.

http://www.intouch.org/broadcast/today-on-radio then click on the message titled

"How to Handle Difficult Circumstances" March 14, 2014

Think a lot of us could benefit from this message as well by ###.

### is another very good teacher of the Bible.

Lord I pray that you bless each and everyone who watches these videos. Touch their heart, heal their hearts, and create within them a desire to do your will and give them the personal relationship with you that you desire from us.

Heal these broken hearts, marriages, homes, and families. Break the bind of deception that Satan has over these spouses and their life.

Lord give comfort and peace to those who are hurting now and going through a trial that they feel is overwhelming and cannot go another step further.

Lord you say to come all ye who are weary and burdened and you will give us rest so we humbly come to you now and lay our burdens at your feet with confidence that you are the great healer.

We ask you Jesus that you equip us with the full armor of God to combat Satan who is causing doubt, anger, and confusion within us as these things are not of you but of Satan.

Lord we recognize our need for you and that we are nothing and helpless without you and even though our circumstance may seem hopeless, you are still on the throne and you still hear and answer our prayers for you tell us in your word "Ask and ye shall receive".

I ask that you forgive us of our sins and trespasses as we fail you daily Lord but you are still a merciful God full of grace who freely forgives us even though we are undeserving but because of Jesus's death for us on the cross who's death paid the price of our sin, we are forgiven when we ask.

Lord I ask this In Jesus precious name in faith believing and receive it. Amen.

Ok sooooooo i'm dumb. ###, I was reading your first post and saw the "Getv" thing, but I didn't read it as "Get tv"....I read it as "Get V"....so I was over here thinking what is a V and why should I get it? LOL!! Yes...I'm slow...I know LOL! But anyway I will definitely look at those things! Thaaaaaanks!!

Ok so I just went and saw the Son of God movie.......awesome.....just awesome. It was so amazing to see how Jesus did what He did, going around preaching/teaching, healing....everything. It was such an amazing thing to see. And Jesus' lines were the actual scriptures. They just give the guy a script but the actual scriptures. I mean it's one thing to read the word. But the thing is when we read the word, we read it in our own voices, even if we are reading it mentally, it's still our voices that is reading the Word. But to actually hear it and see it......I was speechless. And it helped me as a stander because I actually heard all the promises that God has made for those of us who are standing. Like I said, it's one thing to read it, it's completely different to hear and see it. I cried a little bit each time I heard one of God's promises. There was a part where the disciples were getting in the boat getting ready to meet Jesus on the other side of the river. One of the disciples said maybe they should wait. But ### said "Jesus said He would meet us at the other side"......My heart just burst!! That one line was so significant to me!! He will meet us on the other side! Which ultimately means that we WILL get through this! The scene with the storm was amazing! The storm was really bad and they were in this little boat and ### suggested that they turn back. (How many times have we said that in our stands? About giving up?...in the middle of a storm...think about that for a minute and reeeaaally let it sink in...) But ### insisted that they keep going. Then finally...there was Jesus on the water....you guys know the story I don't need to say it all. But still the movie was amazing. I left with a new found hope and faith. "Do not fear. With God, anything is possible". I just about lost it in the theater. I praise my Father God and Jesus Christ. Jesus went through hell with the beatings and the persecutions. And look at Him now. I praise the Heavenly Father. I'm so happy and blessed to have them both in my life forever. I don't deserve it, God knows I don't, but He loves me enough to always be there for me til the day He calls me home. Thank You Lord....

The movie wasn't as gory as Passion of Christ (which I'm glad ### did because people needed to know and see that it wasn't just a few lashes and a little bruising Jesus had...he had gashes and lost pieces of skin and there were pools of His spilled blood) but it still got the message through. Please go see the movie. It's worth it :-)

Jesus Christ, help me! I am on my 3rd day of fasting. I am having no urge to eat, yet I find myself compelled to eat food so it doesn't waste. The pantry seems to be fuller as well. I'm not sure if I am being affected by another spirit that is competitive and doesn't want me to complete this...
