We lift up your father before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to guide his steps as he seeks a business opportunity. The Word of God tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Father, we ask that You would direct his path, opening doors that no man can shut and closing those that would lead him astray. Grant him wisdom to discern the right opportunities, as James 1:5 promises, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
Lord, we also pray for favor in his interactions with others. May he find grace in the eyes of those who can help him, and may his efforts be met with kindness and generosity. Provide for every need, as You have promised in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Strengthen his heart as he waits, reminding him that patience produces character and hope (Romans 5:4). Encourage him when discouragement comes, for You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to hinder his progress, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). May his work not only prosper but also bring glory to Your name and be a blessing to his family and community. Let his labor be fruitful, as Psalm 1:3 declares, "He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper."
Above all, we pray that his trust would remain in You alone, for it is in Christ Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true provision. If there is any area where his heart is not fully surrendered to You, reveal it to him, Lord, so that he may walk in complete obedience to Your will. May his business endeavors be rooted in integrity, honesty, and a desire to honor You in all things. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Amen.
