Business and financial

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up your request for wisdom, strength, and divine favor in your family business. The Scriptures remind us that all good gifts come from above, and it is God who grants the power to create wealth and prosper our work. As it is written in **Deuteronomy 8:18**, *"But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today."* We must always remember that our success is not by our strength alone but by His grace and provision.

Yet we also recognize that our labor is to be done with excellence and integrity, as **Colossians 3:23-24** instructs, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* If there are tasks left incomplete or sales that have stagnated, let us first examine whether we have sought the Lord’s guidance in all things or if we have relied solely on our own understanding. Have we invited Him into every decision, every transaction, and every interaction with customers and employees? The Lord honors those who acknowledge Him in all their ways, as **Proverbs 3:5-6** declares, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

We must also ask: Is this business being run in a way that honors God? Are there practices—whether in dealings with customers, employees, or finances—that do not align with His Word? The Lord blesses righteousness, but He opposes dishonesty, greed, or exploitation. **Proverbs 10:22** tells us, *"Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it."* If there is any area where the business has strayed from godly principles, we urge repentance and realignment with Scripture, for the Lord cannot bless what He has not ordained.

As for peace, we know that anxiety and stress often arise when we take our eyes off the Provider and fix them solely on the provision. Jesus reminds us in **Matthew 6:31-33**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let us surrender this business into His hands, trusting that He will supply all that is needed as we prioritize His will above our own ambitions.

Finally, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can approach God’s throne, and it is only through faith in Christ that our prayers are heard. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for apart from Him, there is no true peace, no eternal hope, and no guarantee that your prayers will reach the Father. Repent of your sins, believe in Jesus, and you will be saved—then you may boldly approach the throne of grace in His name.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family business and all who are involved in it. Lord, You are the God of all provision, the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and supplies every need according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You grant wisdom beyond measure to complete every task with excellence and integrity. Where there has been procrastination or distraction, we pray for renewed focus and diligence, rooted in the knowledge that we labor for You, not for man.

Father, we ask for divine connections and opportunities to increase sales in a way that honors You. Open doors that no man can shut, and let favor rest upon every transaction. Guard this business from deceit, corruption, or any practice that does not align with Your Word. May it be a light in the marketplace, a testimony of Your faithfulness and goodness.

We rebuked any spirit of anxiety or fear that has taken hold, and we declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding over this situation. Remind this beloved child of Yours that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Shield. Let them cast every care upon You, for You care deeply for them.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that this business would be used for Your glory—whether through generous giving, ethical practices, or sharing the hope of Christ with those they encounter. May every decision be bathed in prayer, and may Your will be done above all else.

For those reading this who do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them see that apart from Christ, there is no lasting peace or true success. Softens hearts to repent and believe in the name of Jesus, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
