Beloved of All
I went back to work after summer break as a ###, I feel it in my body , from head to toe, even the throat from having to talk loud, overstimulation and the suffering from bodyache, please pray for mental snd physical healing , also pray for favor at work with people

We hear your cry for rest and healing, dear sister in Christ. The weariness you describe, from the top of your head to the soles of your feet, is not just physical but a deep soul exhaustion that only the Lord can truly restore. The apostle Matthew reminds us of Jesus’ tender invitation: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB). You are carrying a heavy load, but Christ’s yoke is not one of overstimulation, burnout, or chronic ache. He calls you to lay your burdens at His feet and trust Him to sustain you.

We rebuke the spirit of weariness and exhaustion in the name of Jesus. The enemy would love to see you depleted, discouraged, and disconnected from the strength that comes from the Lord. But we declare that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB), and we pray for divine healing to flow through every cell, muscle, and nerve. We ask the Great Physician to touch your throat, ease the strain of speaking, and restore your voice with His peace. We pray for supernatural endurance, that even in the midst of a demanding environment, you would feel His presence lifting you, renewing your strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).

We also pray for favor in your workplace. May the Lord soften the hearts of those around you, colleagues, supervisors, and students, so that they would see Christ in you and respond with grace, patience, and kindness. Proverbs 16:7 tells us, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him" (WEB). We ask that God would order your steps, open doors of opportunity for rest and support, and surround you with people who will encourage and uplift you. If there are areas where you are taking on too much or not setting healthy boundaries, we pray for wisdom to discern what is yours to carry and what you must surrender to the Lord.

Above all, we encourage you to draw near to Jesus daily. Spend time in His Word, even if it’s just a few verses, and let His truth refresh your spirit. Psalm 23:2-3 says, "He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (WEB). You are not meant to run on empty. The Lord sees your sacrifice and your heart, and He will sustain you if you lean on Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see her exhaustion, her aching body, and the weight she carries. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her from head to toe. Strengthen her where she is weak, soothe her throat, and calm her mind from overstimulation. Father, we rebuke every spirit of burnout and weariness in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your peace will guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

We pray for favor in her workplace, that You would go before her and make her path straight. Soften the hearts of those around her, and give her wisdom in her interactions. Provide moments of rest and refreshment, and help her to set boundaries that honor You and protect her well-being. Lord, remind her that her strength comes from You, and that in her weakness, Your power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).

Most of all, draw her close to Your heart. Let her find rest in Your presence and renewal in Your Word. We trust You to restore her soul and lead her beside still waters. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Returning to the classroom after a break, only to feel the weariness hit your whole body, is such a disorienting experience. The overstimulation, the strain on your voice, the deep aches, all of it is real, and none of it means you’re weak or failing. Your body is simply telling you exactly what’s true: you have been pouring yourself out, and the demands right now are intense.

When we face prolonged pressure, our stress response doesn’t just stay in our minds; it floods our physical systems too. What you’re feeling, the fatigue, the muscle tension, even that raw throat, makes sense. It’s not a character flaw; it’s a signal that you need care, not more pushing.

We are praying for genuine healing, and we also want to gently encourage you to let your body be heard. If the pain in your throat or your body persists, please don’t hesitate to see a doctor, it’s a wise way to steward your health, not a lack of faith. In the meantime, small, intentional choices can help shield you from the overstimulation: stepping into a quiet room for just two minutes between classes, using a microphone if one is available, or even giving yourself permission to not engage with every sound or conversation. And we know it’s hard, but try not to shoulder every burden alone, a safe colleague or friend who knows what you’re walking through can lighten the load simply by understanding.

We also join you in asking for favor at work. We pray that God will surround you with people who see your efforts, extend grace on the hard days, and become real partners in the daily grind.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this teacher who feels worn through body and mind. You know the ache and the fatigue, and You care about every part of their being. Please bring Your healing rest to them tonight and each day, settle their nervous system, soothe the strain, and restore their strength. Grant them wisdom to make space for recovery, and surround them with kind and supportive people at work. In Your name we ask, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His Grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing! His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies. Many a child of God, when weary, has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy. The balm is at the Cross! The Physician is at the right hand of God! In your deadly sorrow, sin and weakness, do you wish to lie at the Savior's feet? That is where I want you to lie and if you will to lie there, that is where you do lie. So he lay there, in the Presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing. To the forgiven man, all things work together for good, yes, even those things which naturally follow upon the sin which is now forgiven. The curse is turned into a blessing! The poison acts as a medicine! The desire to minister always arises out of healing. Here was a woman, a poor woman, an old woman, a widow woman, one who had just been sick, and she desires to minister to Christ at once. She can do it and she does it! May you never know what quiet means till you find it at the pierced feet!

The bodyaches and weariness you feel from head to toe, even to your throat from speaking loudly, are known to the One who heals. While you remain in this sickness, do not cease to seek the healing treatment. When physicians might despair of the body, we still entreat them not to neglect us; how much more should you persist in prayer and care, trusting that healing will come, perhaps even contrary to hope.

In your work, you are offering hospitality to the little ones, a service that requires much attendance and encouragement. Let it be done for God’s sake with cheerfulness, for God loves a cheerful giver. You are lending your strength to God, not to men, and you are more indebted to them than they to you. They are the healers of your wounds, teaching you patience and love; thus you receive more than you give, and your weariness can bring you closer to Christ.

If the overstimulation and effort seem fruitless, do not lose heart. How many hear ten times and remain insensible, yet afterward at one hearing are converted? The words you speak and the care you give are not wasted. Your eager desire, your love for the task, cannot fail of its effect. Even now God sees the root of good in your labor, though you see only the trunk and feel heaviness.

Your very lament over this weariness is a kind of healing treatment. Many who were not helped by advice have been brought to amendment when they mourned over their condition. So pour out your heart to Him. And for favor with people, do not speak or act with pride, like the Pharisee who boasted even in truth and was condemned. Instead, serve with humility, carefully attending to each person’s need, for you are benefiting more than you are benefited. Then your own heaviness will lift, and we will rejoice with you when we see your health restored fully, body and mind. May you obtain the everlasting blessings and find true rest.

What you are describing physically makes complete sense. The body carries the weight of mental and emotional strain. When you are overstimulated and have to project your voice all day, the exhaustion settles into your throat, your muscles, your very bones. That deep weariness from head to toe is a real affliction, and it deserves to be brought before the Lord with honesty.

There is a truth woven into Scripture that the prosperity of the soul and the health of the body are not entirely separate realms. When the mind and spirit are under relentless pressure, the physical frame often speaks up in pain and fatigue. The Bible likens a cheerful heart to good medicine, and we are learning how profoundly true that is chemically and organically. Ongoing stress sends destructive signals through the whole system, and over time the body simply says, “I cannot carry this alone.” So your request for both mental and physical healing is not two separate prayers; it is one cry for wholeness.

I want to be careful not to place a wrong burden on your shoulders. Healing is a sovereign work of God. It is not something we extract from Him by saying the right words or by straining hard enough in our own strength. Matthew’s gospel broadens the work of Christ to include the bearing of our physical infirmities. Jesus took those stripes on His body not only for our sins, but to open the door for the healing of our broken frames. He made provision in the law for diseases that men could not cure, just to show that He reserves room to work in impossible places. Your body aches and your fried nerves are not beyond His reach. And yet, He works according to His grace and timing, not according to a formula. You are not failing if the healing is not instant. The work is in His hands, and His hands alone.

The mental battle is equally real. What is your soul saying to God in this exhaustion? Are you running on the fumes of your own effort, trying to please everyone around you? The mind of Christ is one that rests in the Father’s work, not in frantic self-striving. You mentioned needing favor with people at work. It is natural to want smooth relationships and kindness from those you serve. But seeking to curry human favor often leaves us hollow and worn thin, like a man trying to appease a crowd on his own wisdom. When we wait on the Lord, He manages those relationships with a smoothness we could never engineer. Ask Him to give you favor not by your charm or your performance, but by His quiet orchestration behind the scenes.

In this season, God is not wasting your weariness. He works in you before He works through you. Sometimes that preparation feels like chipping away at rough edges, and frankly, it hurts. The overstimulation and the bodily pain are not signs of His absence; they are the very arena where He is teaching you to depend utterly on His finished work and not on your faltering strength. You are not saved by your effort, and you are not sustained by it either. Jesus said the work of God is to believe in the One He sent. Rest in that completed redemption. Your standing before God is secure because Christ’s work is finished. You can come to Him limp and weary, leaning fully on what He has done, and find that He gives grace to your mind and soothing to your body in His way.

So let me pray for you now.

Father, I lift up this one who is bone tired. You know where the body hurts. You know the rawness in the throat from speaking over the noise. You feel the mental fog that comes from constant stimulation. We do not dictate a method to You, Lord, but we ask for the gentle work of Your Spirit to bring down the inflammation, to quiet the racing thoughts, and to restore peaceful sleep. Let the soul prosper and find its calm refuge in You, so that physical strength may follow. For the workplace, we ask not for a striving favor, but for the kind of favor that flows from Your hand. Let colleagues see something of Christ’s patience and gentleness, and let their responses be seasoned by Your grace. While You work out these circumstances, keep this precious one from despair. Let the truth that You are working in them right now, for a purpose greater than they can see, sink deep into the aching places. In Jesus’ name, amen.
