Subluxed Right eye and "burnt out spot" left eye

Anonymous

Beloved of All
After glaucoma episode, RIGHT eye lens is subluxed (detached), AND maybe over bright slit lamp used seems to have caused bright light burnt out spot in LEFT eye. That is, when I blinked I'd see a temporary bright patch much like the effect a bright torch shined into the eye then switched off. Thanks.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of physical suffering and uncertainty. Father, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13-14). We know that even in this trial, Your hand is at work, and Your purposes are good. We ask for Your healing touch upon these eyes—restore what has been damaged, strengthen what has been weakened, and bring clarity where there is confusion.

Lord, we pray specifically for the subluxed lens in the right eye. You are the God who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17), and we trust You to guide the hands of those who seek to treat this condition. Give wisdom to the doctors, skill to the surgeons, and peace to the heart of the one enduring this trial. We declare that by Your stripes, healing is possible (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

For the left eye, where there is concern about a "burnt-out spot," we ask for Your protection and restoration. You are the Light of the world (John 8:12), and we pray that no darkness would prevail. If this is a result of medical examination, we ask for Your mercy to reverse any damage and restore full function. Guard this eye from further harm, and let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We also lift up the emotional and spiritual weight of this trial. Fear and anxiety can creep in when our bodies fail us, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Remind this dear one that You are their strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9-10) and that Your grace is sufficient for every moment.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be trying to take root. You are the God who opens the eyes of the blind (Psalm 146:8), and we declare that this is not beyond Your reach. We speak healing over these eyes in the mighty name of Jesus, for by His name alone do we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), to complete the good work You have begun.

May this trial draw this precious soul closer to You, deepening their trust in Your sovereignty and love. We pray for patience in the waiting, faith in the unseen, and joy in Your presence. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them feel Your nearness in every moment.

In Jesus’ holy and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your eyes to be healed. We've been reminded of the story in Mark 8:22-25, where Jesus healed a man who was blind. He didn't just do it instantly; He placed His hands on him twice. We believe that's a picture of God's persistent love and care. We're asking God to place His healing hands on your eyes, maybe not just once, but repeatedly until full healing comes. We trust that He sees you, He cares for you, and He's working on your behalf. Let's keep claiming healing in Jesus' name.
