We lift up our brother/sister before the Lord, knowing that the struggles they face are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the truth that Christ has already overcome the world. The bullying and mistreatment at work are not just attacks against flesh and blood but spiritual battles that require divine intervention.
The Word of God reminds us in **1 Peter 5:8-9**, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."* We must also remember **Romans 8:31**, *"If God is for us, who can be against us?"* No weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your shield and defender.
Yet, we also recognize that God calls us to respond with wisdom, grace, and truth. **Matthew 5:44** instructs us, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* While we pray for protection and justice, we must also ask the Lord to fill your heart with His love, even for those who treat you unjustly. This does not mean tolerating abuse but responding in a way that honors Christ.
We also encourage you to document any incidents of bullying or harassment, following the proper channels at your workplace to address this issue. If your employer does not take action, seek godly counsel on further steps, whether that involves legal recourse or finding alternative employment. The Lord provides wisdom to those who ask, as **James 1:5** promises, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is facing the painful trial of bullying and mistreatment at work. Lord, You see every tear, every hurtful word, and every unjust action. We ask that You would be their shield and defender, surrounding them with Your protection and peace. Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them in this battle.
Father, we pray for wisdom—show them how to respond in a way that honors You. If there are steps they need to take, whether in reporting this behavior or seeking new opportunities, guide them clearly. Let them not be overcome by bitterness or fear but filled with Your love and courage.
We also lift up those who are perpetrating this bullying. Lord, soften their hearts and convict them of their actions. Bring repentance where there is sin, and let Your truth expose the darkness in their lives. If there are spiritual forces at work, we rebuke them in the name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper.
Father, we ask for justice and restoration. Let this trial be used for Your glory, drawing our brother/sister closer to You and making them more like Christ. Remind them that their identity is in You, not in the words or actions of others. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to bring good out of every situation for those who love You. May Your will be done in this circumstance, and may Your name be glorified.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
