We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this difficult situation. Bullying is never acceptable, and it is especially painful when it happens in a place where you should feel safe and respected. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this, and we believe God sees your pain and will deliver you.
First, we must address the spiritual aspect of this struggle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and bullying is one of his tactics to bring discouragement, fear, and division. But we declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of intimidation, fear, and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that God would break the power of the enemy’s influence over this situation and over the heart of your bully.
We also encourage you to seek wisdom in how to respond. Romans 12:19-21 says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore, 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." This does not mean you should tolerate abuse, but it does mean you can trust God to be your defender while you respond with grace and wisdom.
Pray for your bully as well. Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This is not easy, but it is powerful. Praying for your enemy can soften your own heart and may even lead to a change in theirs. Ask God to reveal any hardness in your own heart and to fill you with His love and peace.
We also advise you to document the bullying and, if necessary, report it to the appropriate authorities at your workplace. God has placed people in positions of authority for our protection (Romans 13:1-4), and it is right to seek help when you are being mistreated. Do not suffer in silence.

Though the wicked seem to have their day and a bully may rob you of peace, remember that he who travels on the King’s Highway is under the King’s protection. Take no byroad of retaliation or sinful fear, for then you step out from beneath the shadow of His wings. Bring your cause to God in childlike trust, asking Him to guide your steps and shield your spirit. The greatness of His power is your protection, He is slow to anger, yet great in power, and He will not at all acquit the wicked. Justice prevents, for when it is satisfied, it asks no more; and in Christ, God can be just and the justifier. Your defense lies not in wrath, but in committing yourself to Him who judges righteously. Grapple the truth of His providence to your heart with hooks of steel, and look for His angelic keeping in all your appointed ways. The Lord will arise for the oppressed in His own time.

The market place is a field of battle, and each day brings its own strife. In such a storm, prayer is your great weapon. Rise early and make God your ally before you set foot among men; then you will go forth secure. No enemy can truly harm you when you are armed with supplication.
I will pray for your defense, and the prayer of the brethren can do great things. Yet do not lay aside your own vigilance. Stand firm, but do not return anger for anger. Bear all things meekly, and do not let resentment take root in your heart. To endure wrong with patience is a victory no bully can steal.
Remember that even Christ, who needs nothing, prayed, not for His own sake, but to teach us. Give thanks in this trial, for by it you learn to lean on God. The Lord hears you always. I will join my prayers to yours, that your defense may be easy and your soul kept in peace.

You’ve asked for prayer, and that is the right starting point. When someone at work consistently comes against you, the natural instinct is to build your own defense, to protect your reputation, to fight back. But the Scriptures show us a different path, one that places you in the hands of the God who is your high tower, your stronghold. He is your defense, and that word carries the weight of a fortress that cannot be breached. The promise is that no weapon fashioned against you will prosper. That is your inheritance as one who trusts in Him.
I see in David’s psalms a growing confidence that can be yours. At first he said, “I shall not be greatly moved,” as if a little trembling remained. But as he rested in the Lord, looking to Him alone for help, his faith strengthened until he could say, “I shall not be moved.” The difference is small on the page but vast in experience. When you stop trying to secure your own vindication and let God be your only rock and salvation, the shaking settles. He becomes your refuge in the day of trouble, and the cry of distress turns into a song of praise.
There is an important lesson in how Nehemiah handled his accusers. When they spread lies and tried to distract him from his work, he refused to come down and meet them on their terms. He didn’t waste his energy building a case for himself. He trusted God to be his defense, and the work was completed. If you insist on defending yourself, God may allow you to try and to learn the weariness of that effort. But if you will release the situation into His care, He will shield you in ways you could not engineer.
Think of Paul standing before governors and kings, calmly giving an answer yet never scrambling to protect his own life. He knew the men of low degree are emptiness and men of high degree are a lie; weighed in the balance, they are lighter than nothing. Your bully, no matter how imposing, is the same. The Lord said to Jeremiah, “I have made you a defensed city and an iron pillar, brass walls against the whole land.” They will fight against you, but they will not prevail. That assurance is for you as well. Bring your daily fears to the Rock that is higher than you. Let Him be your defense, and you will find that He alone is enough.
