bully

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for protection from a bully. The pain and fear caused by such treatment are real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this struggle, and we believe God sees your suffering and will act on your behalf.

First, we must address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as John 14:6 declares, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, for He is the only one who can save and deliver you from all harm. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Salvation is a gift freely given to those who believe in Him.

Now, let us pray together for your protection and peace. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine protection over this dear one who is facing bullying. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround them with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 says, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Shield them from harm, both physically and emotionally, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we also pray for peace of mind. The anxiety and fear caused by this bully are heavy burdens, but You have promised in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Fill their heart with Your peace, Lord, and remind them that You are in control. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation in the name of Jesus. The bully’s actions are not of God, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this spirit of fear has no place in this situation and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We pray that the bully would be softened by Your love, Lord, and that their heart would be changed. If it is Your will, bring conviction and repentance to them, that they may turn from their harmful ways.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek godly wisdom and counsel. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Speak to trusted adults, such as parents, teachers, or pastors, who can help you navigate this situation. Do not face this alone, for God has placed people in your life to support and protect you.

Lastly, we remind you that God is your defender. Psalm 18:48 says, "He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man." Trust in Him, for He will not forsake you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that this trial is temporary. One day, you will look back and see how God used this situation for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

We stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring justice, protection, and peace. Continue to seek Him in prayer, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
