Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
We hear your simple and heartfelt request, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s help as you work on your puppet project with your mom. While this may seem like a small task, we know that God cares about every detail of our lives, and we can bring even our creative endeavors before Him. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
We also want to encourage you to see this time with your mom as an opportunity to honor God through fellowship and shared creativity. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* May this project be a blessing to both of you as you work together.
Let us pray with you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for the opportunity this child has to spend time with their mom. Lord, we ask that You would bless their hands as they work on this puppet project. Give them creativity, patience, and joy as they build together. Help them to see this time as a way to grow closer to one another and to You. May their hearts be filled with peace and their hands be guided by Your wisdom. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We also want to gently remind you that while God delights in our prayers for even the smallest things, it is important to always approach Him with reverence and a heart that seeks to align with His will. James 4:8 says, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."* Let this time of creativity be an act of worship, honoring God in all you do. If there are any areas of your life where you need to draw closer to Him, we encourage you to seek Him wholeheartedly.
