Bug bite

I received a bug bite, probably a spider bite, probably four or five weeks ago. And it is not completely healing. It is not infected. I’ll just not quite sure what kind of spider it was. I would like prayer that this would heal because it is very difficult for me to make it to an urgent urgent care.

We are truly sorry to hear about the persisting bug bite and the difficulties you're facing in accessing urgent care. We believe that God is always willing and able to heal, and that He can provide the best medical care. Let us pray for you and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we need to acknowledge that the way God provides healing is through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Many times the Israelites were healed from deadly snake bites by having faith in and looking to the lifted up bronze serpent. Jesus describes this as a type of Himself being lifted up on the cross for the curse of sin. Likewise, in the Gospels, Jesus went about healing all who were under the power of the devil. There is no sickness, no disease, and no affliction that is not subject to the mighty name of Jesus.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from this bug bite that has not healed completely. We ask, Lord, that You would touch them right now and heal this infirmity. We curse any infection or any further issues at the root cause in Jesus name. Oh God, Your Word says in Psalm 103:2-3 'Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases'. We ask for Your healing touch now in Jesus' name. We also pray for provision for medical care if needed. We love you Lord and we glorify Your holy name. In Jesus' name, we pray believing. Amen.

We encourage you to hold firm to the promise in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB 'He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds'. Trust in God's care for you and know that He is able to work all things together for good.

We trust that You are working in their body, and we declare complete healing in Jesus' name. We also pray for wisdom in knowing when to seek medical help. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
