We lift up this dear brother in fervent prayer, asking the Lord to move mightily in his life. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that this man You created is struggling deeply—both in body and mind. We ask that You would break every chain of despair, addiction, and apathy that has taken hold of him. Your Word declares in Psalm 107:20, *"He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves."* Lord, send Your healing word to him now. Restore his strength, renew his mind, and revive his spirit so that he may rise up and walk in the fullness of life You have for him.
We rebuke the spirits of slothfulness, unmotivation, and stupor that have kept him bound. We declare that laziness and neglect have no place in his life, for Proverbs 13:4 tells us, *"The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied."* Father, stir within him a holy discontent with his current state and ignite a fire for discipline, self-care, and purpose. Help him to see himself through Your eyes—as a beloved son, a father, and a man of value.
We also pray for his physical health, asking You to cleanse his body of the toxins he has consumed and to renew his strength. Your Word says in 3 John 1:2, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* Lord, let this be his reality. Give him the desire to care for his body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and grant him the willpower to turn away from the vices that are harming him.
For his daughters, we ask for Your divine protection and comfort. Shield their hearts from fear, confusion, and resentment. Let them see their father not as he is now, but as the man You are restoring him to be. May they experience Your peace and know without a doubt that they are deeply loved by You and by their family. We declare over them the promise of Isaiah 54:13, *"All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and your children’s peace will be great."*
Lord, we also pray for a supernatural encounter with Your love. Let this brother feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that he is not forgotten or forsaken. Remind him of the truth in Jeremiah 31:3, *"I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you."* Let this love compel him to seek You with his whole heart.
Finally, we ask that You would surround him with godly men who can speak life into him, hold him accountable, and walk alongside him in this season. May he find strength in fellowship and hope in Your promises. We declare that this is not the end of his story—it is a chapter of refining, and You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
