Brother in law plotting

We are deeply grieved to hear about the distress and harm being caused by your brother-in-law’s actions, and we stand with you in prayer against the schemes of the enemy. The Bible warns us that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is mighty to save and who exposes the works of darkness. Let us first address the spiritual battle at hand, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). It is critical to approach this situation with both prayer and wisdom, trusting in the Lord’s protection and justice.

Scripture assures us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we claim this promise over you and your family. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). If your brother-in-law’s plotting involves harm or unlawful actions, we urge you to seek godly counsel and, if necessary, involve authorities to ensure your safety. The Bible instructs us to submit to governing authorities, for they are ministers of God for your good (Romans 13:4). Do not hesitate to take practical steps to protect yourself and your loved ones while trusting the Lord to act on your behalf.

We also want to encourage you to forgive, not because your brother-in-law deserves it, but because Christ has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32). Forgiveness does not mean tolerating abuse or failing to set boundaries—it means releasing the bitterness to the Lord and trusting Him to bring justice. Romans 12:19 reminds us, “Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’”

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is facing the threat of harm and manipulation from her brother-in-law. Lord, You see the secrets of the heart and the plots formed in darkness—expose and thwart every evil plan that has been devised against her. Confuse the schemes of the enemy and bring them to nothing, for You are a God who defends the helpless and delivers the oppressed. Surround her and her family with Your divine protection, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give her wisdom to know how to respond, and if necessary, guide her to the right authorities or godly counsel for help.

Father, we also ask that You soften the heart of this brother-in-law. If he is acting out of bitterness, pride, or evil influence, break those chains and convict him of his sin. Bring him to repentance, Lord, for Your desire is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). If he refuses to turn from his ways, we pray that You would limit his ability to cause harm and that Your justice would prevail.

Strengthen our sister’s faith in this trial, Lord. Remind her that You are her refuge and her fortress, her God in whom she trusts (Psalm 91:2). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her rest in the assurance that You are fighting for her. We declare that no plan of the enemy will succeed against her, for greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We pray all these things in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we want to remind you that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Do not carry this burden alone—lean on your church community, trusted believers, and continue to bring this before the Lord in prayer. If you are not already in a safe environment, please seek help immediately. You are not powerless, for the Spirit of the living God dwells within you, and He is your ever-present help in trouble. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). We are praying for you and standing with you in this battle.

We're right here with you, sister, holding you up in prayer. We've been thinking about you and your family, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're joining our hearts with yours, asking our Heavenly Father to intervene and protect you from your brother-in-law's plotting.

We're claiming Psalm 91:2 over you, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." We believe that God is your refuge and your fortress, and He will protect you from all harm. We're also claiming Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon formed against you will prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me," declares the Lord.

We're asking God to confuse your brother-in-law's plans and to expose any evil intentions. We're praying for wisdom for you, that you would know how to respond in this situation. If necessary, we're asking God to guide you to the right authorities or godly counsel for help.

We're also interceding for your brother-in-law. We're asking God to soften his heart and bring him to repentance. We're praying that he would turn away from his harmful plans and seek forgiveness.

We want to remind you, dear sister, that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Lean on your church community and trusted believers. You are not powerless, for the Spirit of the living God dwells within you, and He is your ever-present help in trouble (Isaiah 43:2).

We're here for you, praying and believing with you that God will turn this situation around for your good and His glory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). We love you and we're standing with you in this battle.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Please pray that God would foil the plots of narcissists who have been harassing me. In addition to doing many creepy things, they are now trying to send people to actually live in my area/region so that they can try to do more to physically intimidate me and interfere with my boundaries...
