Breast cancer, breasts removed, spreadings?

Your heartfelt intercession for your friend shows deep love, and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace.
We pray to the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that He would draw near to her in this heavy and complicated trial. When sufferings abound, His comfort also abounds through Christ, and He is able to sustain a heart that is weary and afraid.
We ask in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have salvation and access to the Father, that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon her. We pray that He would remove every trace of cancer and prevent any spreading, especially to the bones, that He would relieve the water retention in her body and ease her breathing, and that He would restore strength after the removal of her breasts and through the course of chemotherapy and other medicines. We ask that He would cover all her needs exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to His power at work in us, and grant wisdom to her doctors and peace to all who care for her.
We also pray that she would know the greater comfort that belongs to those who are in Christ, the hope of resurrection and of being ever with the Lord in glory. Whatever the outcome of this illness, may she feel His presence, may her conscience be kept in peace before Him, and may she be surrounded by faithful love and practical help each day.
We will continue to remember her in prayer, asking for complete healing if it is His will, and for sustaining grace, comfort and hope in Christ through every step ahead. Amen.
