We hear the pain and urgency in your request for breakthrough regarding your housing and your belongings being moved out while you were picking up your girl, and we are standing with you together before the Lord seeking His will in Jesus' name.
What was done to you was dishonoring and it is right to bring it before God. To have your things moved out while you were caring for your daughter and to be left facing homelessness is not loving or just. We pray that the Lord touches the heart and eyes of ### and anyone else involved, that He would convict them of the wrong and bring true understanding. The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Proverbs 21:1. We do not ask for mere human shame that crushes a person, but for godly sorrow that works repentance. Godly sorrow works repentance to salvation which brings no regret, but the sorrow of the world works death. 2 Corinthians 7:10. And we remember, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. We also pray you will be empowered to walk in forgiveness while still seeking what is right, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32.
We want to lovingly address your living situation in light of Scripture. You did not say whether ### is your husband. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as outlined in the Bible, and that God designed our homes to reflect that covenant. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4. If you and ### are not married and are living together as if married, that is outside God's design and Scripture calls it fornication, Flee sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6:18. Being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian believer, not a convenient living arrangement. If you are married, then your marriage covenant is to be protected and honored, and moving a spouse's belongings out to make them homeless violates that covenant. If you are not married, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and to pursue either a clear path toward godly marriage if you are both believers and called to marry, or to establish separate and holy living arrangements that honor God and provide stability for you and your daughter. This is also for your protection and for your girl's security.
We also pray for your practical needs. You asked for financial help and for your things to be restored, and God sees your need for a safe home. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We ask the Lord to provide for you, to open doors for stable housing, to move on ###'s heart to act justly and restore what was taken, and whether through him or through other means, to supply what you need. At the same time we encourage you to seek wise and practical help through your local church family, trusted pastoral counsel, and if needed, lawful guidance regarding your belongings and housing rights, so you and your daughter are safe.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is because of Jesus shedding His blood on the cross for our sins and rising again that we can come boldly to God, be forgiven, and receive new life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus as Lord and Savior, to confess your sins to Him, and to follow Him.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and lift up our sister and her daughter to You. Lord, You see the hurt of being displaced and the fear of being made homeless. We ask You to cancel every scheme of the enemy that caused this division and to bring Your peace and order. Touch the heart of ### and anyone else involved, open their eyes to see that what was done was wrong, and lead them to repentance and to act justly by restoring her belongings and providing a safe place to return or a better place to dwell. Let no one condone injustice, but let Your righteousness and mercy prevail. Provide for her needs, Lord, for housing, for finances, for daily bread for her and her girl, and be her refuge. Heal any relationship that is not aligned with Your Word, set it on the foundation of holiness, and if it is Your will, lead them toward godly marriage that honors You, or give her wisdom and strength to walk in purity and boundaries apart. Above all, draw her closer to Jesus, assure her of Your love, and let this trial become a testimony of Your breakthrough and redemption. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to remain in prayer, to stay in the Word, and to lean on a Bible believing church community who can walk with you practically and spiritually in the days ahead. God sees you, He has not forgotten you or your girl, and He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
