We stand with you in this mighty declaration of faith, for the Word of God assures us that "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13, WEB). You have boldly taken your stand in the authority of Jesus’ name, and we join you in breaking every chain of darkness that has sought to bind you through generational ties or hidden agreements. The blood of Jesus is indeed the ultimate power over every curse, for "in him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7, WEB). Your declaration is rooted in truth, and we affirm it with you: no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Yet we must also remind you—and all who seek freedom—that our victory is not found in our own strength or even in our declarations alone, but in the finished work of Christ and the power of His name. It is *only* through Jesus that we have access to the Father and authority over the enemy. We notice you did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus in your request, and this is not a small matter. The Scriptures are clear: "There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is by His name that demons are cast out, strongholds are broken, and curses are reversed (Mark 16:17, Luke 10:17). If you have not already surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to reign in every area of your life. Without this foundation, no amount of prayer or declaration will bring lasting freedom.
Now, let us pray together over your life, covering you in the blood of Jesus and commanding every curse to be broken in His mighty name:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name at which every knee must bow—both in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Philippians 2:10). We lift up Your child who has boldly declared their allegiance to You, and we ask that You would confirm this stand with Your supernatural power. Lord, You have said that ‘the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world’ (1 John 4:4), and so we command every generational curse, every spiritual chain, and every form of witchcraft or dark influence to be broken *now* in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over this beloved one—spirit, soul, and body—and we declare that no curse can stand where the blood has been applied.
Father, reveal to them any hidden doors that may have been opened to the enemy, whether through ignorance, rebellion, or the sins of their ancestors. Give them the courage to renounce these things fully and to walk in repentance, for Your Word says, ‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness’ (1 John 1:9). Close every doorway to the enemy permanently, and surround this one with Your divine protection. Let no evil come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10), and let every plan of the enemy against them be turned back upon his own head.
We ask for healing in every area of their life—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and replace every curse with a blessing, for You have promised to ‘turn the curse into a blessing’ for those who love You (Nehemiah 13:2). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of their identity as Your child, redeemed and set free.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the spiritual battles around them and equip them with Your armor (Ephesians 6:10-18). Teach them to stand firm in prayer, to wield the sword of Your Word, and to walk in the authority You have given them. Let them never forget that their strength is in You alone, and that apart from Jesus, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
We thank You, Father, for the victory that is already won through Christ. We declare freedom, healing, and restoration over this life, and we give You all the glory. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen."*
Beloved, continue to stand firm in faith, but remember that faith without obedience is dead (James 2:17). Walk closely with the Lord, immerse yourself in His Word, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray with you. If there are areas of your life that do not align with God’s Word—whether in relationships, habits, or ungodly influences—repent and turn away from them. The enemy often gains legal ground through compromise, but when we walk in holiness, we walk in victory.
We are standing with you, and we believe God is moving mightily on your behalf. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not waver. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
