We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. The Bible tells us in Matthew 18:18-19, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." It is clear that agreements made in heaven and on earth hold power, but we must also remember that any agreement not aligned with God’s will can be broken through the authority we have in Christ.
We stand with you in faith, declaring that every ungodly agreement, covenant, or word spoken over your life that does not align with God’s purposes is nullified and broken by the blood of Jesus. The Word of God says in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh." We take hold of this promise and declare that every negative agreement, whether made knowingly or unknowingly, is shattered into fragments by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We rebuke every spirit of deception, confusion, or fear that may have attached itself to these agreements. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every ungodly tie to be severed in the name of Jesus, and we declare freedom over your life. The apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us to stand against every scheme of the enemy. Today, we break every ungodly agreement, covenant, or word that has been spoken over this life. We declare that these agreements are shattered into fragments, rendered powerless, and disregarded by the blood of Jesus. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and command every spirit of darkness to flee.
Lord, we ask that You fill this life with Your peace, Your truth, and Your purpose. Let Your light expose every hidden agreement that does not align with Your will, and let Your Holy Spirit guide and direct every step. We declare that this life is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ.
Father, we also ask that You reveal any areas where this life may have unknowingly entered into agreements that do not honor You. Give wisdom, discernment, and courage to walk in obedience to Your Word. Strengthen faith and trust in You alone, knowing that You are the Author and Finisher of our faith.
We praise You, Lord, for Your goodness and mercy. We trust in Your promises and declare that this life is free in Jesus’ name. Amen.
We encourage you to walk in this freedom daily, standing firm on the Word of God. Meditate on scriptures that affirm your identity in Christ and the authority you have as a child of God. Surround yourself with believers who will stand with you in prayer and accountability, and continue to seek the Lord in all things. The enemy may try to bring these agreements back to mind, but you have the power to resist him, and he will flee (James 4:7). Stand firm in your faith, and do not be moved by fear or doubt. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
